So I am addicted to a new show, it is called Heroes and lets face it, haven't we all wanted to be a superhero in our lives!?!??! I am not a big comic book fan but I still love me a good Super Hero movie. I don't miss any of the movies. Why?? Cause everyone likes them. We all want Heroes in our lives. I personally don't have anyone I look up to as a Hero. Sad but true. It isn't that I don't respect alot of people but no one is Super Human enough for me to look at without fault. Me either though, I am my own worse enemy. Take for example my writing THE LAST BOY right now. I was really feeling good about my writing for a change (cause mostly I think it sucks) well now I am feeling like I need to tighen up the story some. Sure it is still in the writing stages but I am already tearing it apart. Owell I did that with Poppies too and people seem to like it... so they say HAHAH
We are hardest on ourselves I guess.
Oh watched adoption story the other day and a couple adopt a baby girl from Korea so now I want to adopt from Korea LOL I change my mind like I change my underwear! Who knows where I will adopt a girl from but I sure hope I get to that is for sure. Have to get that husband on board grrr. It isn't like I want to adopt any time soon. I want the little boys ALOT older. Avery has to be in school before I would even start ANYTHING. I just would really love to do it, for so many reasons besides just wanting a daughter to raise. It feels ... right. Like Writing feels.
Speaking of writing I think I better ask my trustie crystal buddy Kristin when she seems me working on writing ONLY. Last time it was 7months, but I dont' remember how long ago that was LOL!! I need some motivation to keep my focus on the big picture. But I am one of those people who always goes from one extreme to the next. One minute I am super motivated and postive next I am down and so negative you might as well take me out back and put me out of my misery.
Sucks but owell such is life.
Still reading The Children of Men by P.D. James it is getting better (I haven't been reading much lately) but it still feels pompous to me.. to many BIG WORDS!!! LOL YES I understand it, I honestly do but I don't get why some writers need to contantly use big words to sound like impressive writers. To me if a book flows fluidly and the reader doesn't have to think about it but just sees the story take place in their head without effort, yet with enjoyment then you have a winner. If you are confused by what I mean read the book, sometimes a cat is just a cat.. not a domesticated feline of the stout variety.
