Oh, there's MUCH more to know about Sheriff Joe! Maricopa County was spending approx. $18 million dollars a year on stray animals, like cats and dogs. Sheriff Joe offered to take the department over, and the County Supervisors said okay. The animal shelters are now all staffed and operated by prisoners. They feed and care for the strays. Every animal in his care is taken out and walked twice daily. He now has prisoners who are experts in animal nutrition and behavior. They give great classes for anyone who'd like to adopt an animal. He has literally taken stray dogs off the street, given them to the care of prisoners, and had them place in dog shows. The best part? His budget for the entire department is now under $3 million. Teresa and I adopted a Weimaraner from a Maricopa County shelter two years ago. He was neutered, and current on all shots, in great health, and even had a microchip inserted the day we got him. My life has sucked for years and then I found this wonderful man and I love him with all my hart and soul. I know I’ve made mistakes and I’m sorry for them. Grrr at this van. The van wouldn't start for rick the other day and it turned out that a light was left on over night. Today i went out to start it to warm it up for me to switch cars with rick and go to class and again it wouldn't start.. So i'm not going to class today!!!! Blah...
going to the docs today to get an ultrasound on my thyroid....during a doc visit they found the left thyroid was much bigger than the left. I went in the first place because I woke up about 2 Saturdays ago with extreme dizziness. It was so bad I fell. Happy that the bed was underneath me. Well went to our after-hours and they diagnosed me with having fluid in my ear, gave me a script for meclizine and sent me home. I had to sleep for the next week w/ 2 pillows under my head and in an almost sitting position for my vertigo to cease. What a terrible week. The 2nd week was not as bad. Just couldn't sleep on my right side with out the room spinning, and thats my fav side to sleep on. I called my doc and told him I still have the symptoms even though they are not as bad now. He is sending me to get an ultrasound and bloodwork done on my thyroid. I get that done today. Hope I am dying a slow death or something to joke about. I hope I am is not dying or something lol j/k I know it is not funn

My mom in law passed away today and it has been a long hard two weeks. She walks now with no pain and a smile on her face. Just a little vent here about lyfe. Sometimes in lyfe we are presented with situations in which we either learn, or not. Today, again, I have learned that not everyone in my zone acts, feels, and thinks as I do. I placed a mumm in the mumm area that was removed, to my suprise. When we bought our 06 BMW we noticed that there was terrible road noise and a vibration in the wheel. I called the dealership and they said dont worry about it. They told me that it was the run flat tiers and that is what they do. OK I thought to myself, you spend all that cash and you get a loud ass car? My other BMW didnt have that problem! So I go to wash my BMW and I see that the tires in the front are worn completely out on the outside edges. I call the dealership and they tell me it is the alignment and that I must have hit something. I was to bring it in and pay $400 for the alignment and another 300 bucks per tire. I said WTF are you talking about. I never hit chit in my car and you mean to tell me a car with only 16k miles on it has a major problem like this? They were very rude to me to say the least. My Grandfather
I 1st met my grandpa when i was in 2nd grade at least when i could 1st recall meeting him. He was a hard core drinker. Also had a world of knowledge to pass on to me. Results Of The Paternity Test.
I called the courthouse today to find out whats been going on with the results of the paternity test for me and my daughter....i was instructed to call the department of revenue, i was then told by the representitive that my wife ashleigh did not show up with the baby for the test, she also did not show for the 2nd appointment that was made....the case has been dismissed......after hearing all this i really do believe the child is not mine....My ex didnt want everyone to know the truth....i can now go forward with a clear conscience.

The news story below is about one of my coworkers and also a very good friend. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers during this hard time. February 12, 2008 Lakeside shooting vicitm dies A man was shot and mortally wounded in Lakeside Monday night, the San Diego County Sheriff's Department said this morning. He was identified as 28-year-old Mark Randolph Vogler, said an investigator with the county Medical Examiner's Office. Vogler was shot about 10:30 near the Lakeside Roundup bar on Woodside Avenue near Prospect Avenue. He died just after midnight at a hospital. Witnesses told deputies they saw two white men with shaved heads possibly involved in the shooting driving away in a black car, similar to a Ford Mustang. Blindly Moving To Dc, Please Help!!!!
ok I was just notified by my job that within a month I am relocating into the Washington D.C. (Dulles airport) area. I have no clue about anything there. I know nothing about the cost of living, the environment, what to expect, how to get around, etc etc....My MAIN concern though is finding a decent affordable place to live on a temporary basis for I will only be stationed at that airport anywhere from 1 to 6 months. So, obviously I don't want to be brought into any lengthy contracts either. Thoughts During Insomnia...
I have received many emails from concerned friends wanting to know why I haven't responded to their emails, so I thought I would post a blog to explain why I haven't been online, even tho my status said I was. As some of you know, my Mother became very ill a couple of weeks ago. She was diagnosed with Diversticulitis. On Wednesday of last week she became even more ill with the flu. I had been sick, as well, for some time now. I had a number of tests run and was still waiting for the results when I began caring for my Mother. I am rarely ever sick, but for some unknown reason, I have been plagued by illness the last few months. On Friday of last week my oldest son, Alex, became ill with the flu, as well as my Step-brother, Coty. I too, had to be taken to the Dr. by Alex on Thursday morning, I had developed pneumonia. Basically, everyone in my family had fallen ill, and we had no one to care for us. Saturday morning, I awoke, and felt like I had been run over by a semi. Every part

I just got back from court, and the nightmare that started almost 5 years ago is finally over, and I'm legally divorced. Winter Getaway For Some Snow!
Hello my Fubar friends. I have arrived in Telluride and there is so much snow. Sun is hi in the sky and so is my spirits. Isn't it funny how someone can walk into your life and there is such a connection that it feels like they have always been there, by your side and in your heart? Minor Surgery
ok. so for those of you that dont know, im not feeling too great right now. a few days ago i went into the emergency room because my face was really swollen and hurt ALOT. they said i have a staph infection. which really really sucks. they gave me pain meds and antibiotics. bleh. the tabs didnt work too well. :( well today i woke up and my face was even more swollen than it had been. it hurt a lot more and was just getting worse and worse. i decided to go back to the emergency room. thank god they decided to "fix" it. but they had to do a minor surgery to do that. it got worse than it should have in just a few days. nonetheless, im in a little bit less pain for right now. i wont be goin out for a while. lol. thats for sure. im just hoping that they dont have to do anything else to it. i passed out when they were working on it. the pain was super intense. anywho. for those who care ill keep yall updated on whats goin on. well today i had my surgury and they took out thr plate in my arm after almost nine years of constant pain. i pray its over and that i didnt loose the use of my hand which is a good possibility. but i hope not. lol

Recipes
Hot Chipped Beef ala Zola Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 1/2 cup chopped onion 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper 4 Tbl butter, divided one half cup of sour cream one half cup mayonnaise 1 - 8oz package of cream cheese, softened to room temperature 5 oz of sliced corned beef chopped 1 cup of chopped pecans whole wheat crackers In a large sauté pan put in the onion, green pepper, and two tablespoons of the butter. Heat on medium high until the onion and bell pepper are softened. Add the sour cream, mayo, cream cheese and chopped beef. Stir on medium low until you have a creamy white sauce and the beef is all mixed in. Pour this whole concoction into a 9 X 9 oven proof pan. In a small sauce pan put in the last two tablespoons of butter. Start the better melting and add the pecans. Coat the pecans in the hot butter until hot and bubbly and then spread them across the top of the cream cheese/ beef mixture. Bake 15 - 20 minutes until the dish is completely heated throug

Trip To London
Hi there! I have made it back from my trip to London. I had a great time on the London Eye even though I am usually rubbish with heights! Enjoyed the two exhibitions that I went too. They were both spectacular and difficult to pick a favourite of the pair of them. Alexander and I were interviewed for a national morning television programme which will hopefully be shown on TV over here next month.
