Yeah a Friend/client comes today! See sometimes I am really lucky and get to have a session with someone I know from the community. On most of those occassions, it is with someone I actually enjoy! Accomplishment
Have to give a little back story for those that don't know I am a single mom of two young girls - I have a significant other (a partner, a boyfriend whatever ya want to call him...love of my life) He lives "across the pond" for the moment... The girls and I live in a little apartment as I am just getting on my feet after getting out of a 10 year marriage. OK - SOOO There are 2 bathrooms in my apartment and both toilets have decided to act up lately. I decided to get a toilet snake and take on the issue myself. My S.O asked me today why I decided to do this myself when the maintenance people are paid to do such things and I really couldn't answer him - I just stubbornly bought the "closet auger" and went on my way. Days Away

Computer Foul Up
Hey all! I'm in need of a little know how. My loving and sweet boyfriend decided today that he would help clean up my slow laptop by "fixing it himself". He did this without telling me first( I'm guessing it was his surprise to me). What he did was to restore my laptop to its factory settings!! Now all of my downloads, pics, music and software are gone ( I didnt make a back-up). So am I pretty much screwed or is there a way to restore all of my lost stuff? Please help if you can!

Just A Good Thing
So today my small team of Marines and I went out on a mission, you know like any other day, not expecting really anything to happen. Oh well nothing did happen, but we stopped at a tribal leaders house to gather some intel about some 'stuff'. And of course this Iraqi man being in the position that he is, loves the Marines and the things we do for them. so he offered us some food and we gladly accepted. I was quite amazed at the quanity and quality of food he brought us. It was an out of this world experience... well of course for being in Iraq. The point that i am getting at in this is that this man gave us all this food without any hesitation had it preparred and to us we ate. It was amazing!! I guess Iraq this time around wasnt a bad choice.....

Thoughts
Ok so have you ever been so close to that someone you know you shouldnt be? But as much as your mind tells you to back off you cant help but be their best friend and be there for them no matter what. Some times things in life arent fair and it seems like everyone who should have no say in your life are trying to run it. And then you decide to turn and do your own thing knowing it may cause problems down the road. Yeah thats kinda where I am. I know I shouldnt be so close, shouldnt let him in the way I have but hes a great guy and a wonderful friend. I guess if any one has a problem with us being close they are just going to have to deal cuz Im not giving up my friendship with him no matter who likes it or who doesnt. Have you ever had that one person who just makes your heart skip a beat and a smile appear on your face without even trying. Yet there are still things that keep your gaurd up cuz you are afraid somethings going to go wrong and you will once again be hurt.

Week 4
I got killed this week, lost by 50 points. It was rather ugly. My best player was my kicker, and everyone else seemed to take the week off. In my defense, it was my bye week for half my team, and I cobbled together a lineup, but it should have been closer. An add factoid, in four years, six leagues, I've never beaten the person I played against. I'm hoping I break this ugly pattern sometime this year, but who knows. In Nascar, Jimmy Johnson got first, and Joey Logano got close to last, and I lost by 30 again. Johnson has finished high each week, and I'm 2-3 the last 5 weeks, because whoever I match him with runs like shit. I still have high hopes for football, I can't wait for the Nascar to end, just a few more weeks, thank God!

Joint Pain Iii
I am still having loads of pain in my right hip and knee. The pain of walking is almost as bad as it was before I had the surgery on my other knee in 2000. I can't exercise worth a crap. The orthopaedic doctor was stumped when I saw him last Friday (9-26-08) - he sees and feels nothing wrong. He referred me to yet another doctor, recommended physical therapy and an MRI on my back. He gave me a shot in the knee and it hasn't made any difference that I can tell. MRI and X-Rays back in July really showed nothing wrong other than normal arthritis for someone my age. I can tell you this is not just arthritis. I am going in for an MRI on my back and physical therapy this Friday. I guess they're thinking something in my back (sciatica, a disc, or lumbar, or something) might be causing it. I've never really had any back problems, so this is weird for me. I'm really getting tired of this pain, it's screwing up the quality of my life.

We got up and had already E-purchased our tickets for Knott's Berry Farm's "Halloween Haunt" for the night. So, we proceeded to get ready to go. Kidney Failure.
So Last week, I woke up in hellish pain. I wet to the doctor's and found out that one of my kidneys stopped functioning and that I also have high blood pressure, which sux. I'm still in alot of pain even though I spent the better part of a week in a hospital bed with tubes running through me and the morphine was AWESOME as well as the vicadin, but I digress. I want to thank all of those who clled me and left me love. it's nice to know that ppl actually do care about the well-being of others. Thank you all. Hopefully I'll get better soon for when I start to travel across country again for the fall. Hope to see som of you on my journey.

15 years ago on October 3rd B Company, 3rd Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment, C Squadron, Special Forces OD-Delta and elements of the Navy SEALs and Air Force Special Operations went into one of the roughest neighborhoods in Mogadishu, Somalia to capture members of one faction in a horrible Civil War. When 2 helicopters were shot down, these troops went to the aid of their comrades and a mission that was supposed to last an hour ended the next morning. Just over 100 U.S. troops against a city. Voting
Why is everything turned around to make it racial or sexist? If Obama doesn't get elected, then the so called experts say its racial and we all know that McCayn chose his running mate to try and get the womens vote. Why can't people vote for the person and not the color of his/her skin and their sex? Besides I feel the vote isn't by the people anymore and i'm not a communist. Think back to the Gore/Bush election. Gore won the PEOPLES vote but who made it in? I'm not saying Gore would have been any better but it proves the peoples vote means nothing.

Balance
I like to have fun. No, I love to have fun. But I like to work hard, and the reward for that is playing hard. How does one classify fun? Are there more than a few ways we have fun? Lets start with the obvious...... hanging out, going to the bar, meeting people, sporting events and concerts. But what else do you consider fun? Family fun? I do. Ready To Quit
I love my job. It's almost exactly what I want to be doing with my life. The only problem is that the supervisors are making things so awful for all of us that I am just about ready to quit. It's Been Awhile
Well it's been awhile since I updated everyone. LOL Things are going ok for me, you know, could be better could be worse. My daughter is officially a Private in the US Army Reserves and planning on going active Army once she graduates. I am very proud of her for following her dream. My oldest son has gone to live with his dad for the school year. That has been hard on me, I miss him terribly, but it has been a good experience for both of them so far. I am still trying to find myself! LOL I have been "mom" for so long, that now that some of that daily responsibility is gone I just don't seem to know what to do with myself. I'm sorting my way through it slowly but surely with the help of my friends and family. I am just really trying to stay in today and not worry so much about what I don't have in my life. Why Is It All So Confusing?
So, why do we, as people, deliberately do things we know is going to hurt ourselves and others? And why do we prolong the pain? Winners Of The Oct 08 Battle Of The Djs Contest
Last night it seemed that everyone had a blast listening to DJ GHOST, THE JOKER, DJ T-BONE, & REV COOEY perform. Also to appear were DJ HELLS ANGEL, DJ MIDNIGHT, and DJ JAZE; unfortunately, they were a no show, one with internet issues, and another one with computer issues. DJ JAZE had several computer technicians trying to help resolve her computer issues; unfortunately they weren't resolved until close to 4 or 5 am. Before that time, she was offered a sign up for the next contest to be held on the first Friday of November. If you want to be in the next challenge it is never too early to enter!! Each DJ had qualities that were nearly equally matched which made it difficult for the Judges to discern. Where one DJ had definite fortes, the other wasn't quite so masterful at it. Some of you know others often ask, why im gone most the time from here. I own and drive a semi for a living. In the past few months i have been deathly ill, thought i was getting over it but in the recent 2 days i took another turn for the worse, My left eye is swelled up again. i am having trouble breathing. so back to the doc on monday for more test. I dont want yall to worry it aint a situation of life or death, just wish some days it would take me on, I hurt so damn much and have lost another 35 pounds, Im 6'4 and look like im from ethiopia. Made A Mistake
a litttle over three weeks ago my mom calls me and tells me her boyfriend left her. she has noone for the kids, etc..."Can you come and stay with me, i need you" So Immediately I acquire the resources to go to Utah and help her. BIG MISTAKE...I'm up in utah for 3 days and i realize I shouldnt be there...I had nobody to take care of my son and because of that, I couldnt get a job. I was bored. I felt like if i had stayed, my life would go nowhere. Her boyfriend came back, and hes a dick as it is, but with me being there, letting him know he didnt have the authority to tell me what to do pissed him off. I've been independent since i was 16 and the ONLY time i'll do 'what I'm told' is when I'm working. Anyways...It was a mistake to be there so Im stuck there for 3 weeks until i can come back. Did i mention, my mother has been going to college for the past 14 yrs just to be a teacher? (she'll drop a class the second her GPA goes below a 4.0) This is WHY I've done my own thing for years.

A West Virginia man who police said passed gas and fanned it toward a patrolman has been charged with battery on a police officer. Jose A. Cruz, 34, of Clarksburg, was pulled over early Tuesday for driving without headlights, police said. According to the criminal complaint, Cruz smelled of alcohol, had slurred speech and failed three field sobriety tests before he was handcuffed and taken to a police station for a breathalyzer test. As Patrolman T.E. Parsons prepared the machine, Cruz scooted his chair toward Parsons, lifted his leg and ``passed gas loudly,'' the complaint said. I find it odd that I look for a job for 3 months, and get nothing. Then..suddenly...everything at once. I have 4 "orientations" to go to this week, but I didn't interview for any of them. Perhaps it's because I went to the outlet mall, and Christmas is coming up. Perhaps I'm just unlucky/lucky. Perhaps...life is just weird. But it's odd that I don't even get an interview, just jump straight into orientation. And not just one..4. All called today. I'm gonna have to do some thinking to consider which jobs I want to take. Perhaps I'll be able to do all 4 since they will most likely be all part-time. Perhaps not. Time will tell, but... It has come to my attention that when I get hurt in one form or another, I shut down...like I delete anything that will make me feel anything bout the situation at all. Who Would Know?
In light of the recent losses we have all experienced recently it got me to thinking. Nobody here knows me in real life. 95% of you don't know my real name, where I live, or who I am. Monday Morning Lex-e-Chism I was flipping through our 300 channels of Cable TV wasteland last night when I came across a Catholic Mass that was being televised.
