My Fourth
So I did go to Joe's under Ange's orders. I always have fun there- even when we don't do anything. Movies and comedy central is the usual thing. Well, today marks three years since I lost my dad. I never thought I would have to go through all I have so far without him beside me. And knowing what I still have to experience and physically he won't be there. The Big Move
Well I'm not liking this at all. BUT it's happening and I can't really fight it anymore. So I'm packing up and moving. Matter of fact, this is my last week in Texas. I can't believe I'm even saying that. But I'm moving to Denham Springs Louisiana. It's a small town about 30 minutes North of Baton Rouge. There are lots of pluses to moving too. There is a school there for my Daughter that can help her deal with the ordeal she has just been through with being missing and all. Which I am very excited about! We'll have land of our own. LOT of it! 75 acres of land with a 15+ acre lake sitting on it, a river that runs through it, a pond, and a forested area. So that's cool. It's about a 4 hour drive to the Florida coast. About a 2 hour drive to the Louisiana coast. So tons of fishing. There's also casinos! LOL Not to mention the sheer history of the state which I think will be cool to learn about and explore all the historical sites. And the Ghost Hunting will be AWESOME!!! So ..

Every now and then there comes a time in an individuals life when they must choose the lesser of two evils to accomplish something that they themselves set in motion. Volume Xlix - Balance Restored
My week-long suffering bout is finally over. Monday morning, I drove up to Covington for an appointment at the Ear/Nose/Throat specialists, I forget what the facility's called. It's located across the street from the hospital, that's all I remember...Nevertheless, I went. Filled out the necessary paperwork. Sat in the waiting room, but not as long as I thought I would have. I walked into my room, which looked somewhat more like a dentist's office than an ENT. Within a few mintes, Dr. Susan Anderson walked in. I told her my reason for being there (see my past blog, I forget which one), and she proceeded to look in my nose, mouth, and both ears. Without getting too detailed about the procedure, let's say it involved some peroxide and a vacuum tube. Just minutes later....I can hear again!! I SO wanted to hug her. Only $84, it was. I was back at work by noon....and made up for lost time, putting in a late day (8pm). My hearing will never be taken for granted again.

Each year I am hired to go to Washington, DC , with the eighth grade class from Clinton , WI where I grew up, to videotape their trip. Yesterday I took MsRain on a little cruise around her new home. I wanted to show her the beauty & wonder of the Pacific Northwest. It was only supposed to be a couple hour tour around some of the cool ares near where we live. It turned out to be a 10 hour adventure. She got to see the Columbia River Gorge from high up in the mountains, waterfalls along the Lewis River and so much more. We even saw SNOW in July!!! In fact one of the roads we were taking to come back was BLOCKED by snow (in July)!!! I showed her the campground that I was chased by a bear when I was 6 years old and so many other wonderful places. We have a lot of pictures of it all too! We saw Mt. St. Helens (Washington's Volcano), Mt Adams, the Ice Cave & Lower Falls along the Lewis River, even got to see the ancient Lava Fields around Goose Lake and the Wind River (great fishing on the river too). New Horse
Just got a new (old) horse...I feel so bad for him. He's been without food and water for five days, is bone thin and sick. Why in gods name do people, who think taking care of horse, is so easy, that when they decide it's not covenant, are willing to let the poor thing die from starvation. It's been one of those days, running on 3 hours sleep, and facing a twelve hour shift from 7 p to 7a. Dreading going into work because we've been slammed the past few times I went in, to the point where lunch was a bag of chips and some water, if you were lucky. My girls had been hyper all day, couldn't seem to get them settled down enough so that I could get some good rest before I went in. I admit, I was very irritable and snappy towards them. Fun. Hahahah.
Well ... I had to go home sick yesterday. I don't know why but about an hour into my shift ... I was SOOO nauseated and ill. I could barely stand up straight. Nope, I am not preggy. New J.o.b.
So money's tight for a bit and I'm bustin my ass workin to maintain my quality of life that I enjoy so. So, as you all have seen, I have my third tattoo on my right ribcage that I just got on June 20th. I am in love with it, but I was also looking at my lonely Ireland tattoo on my right arm. So I was thinking, should I do a sleeve on the right arm that would be like a whole dedication to Ireland (since I already have the clover and the Irish flag colors in the word Ireland), or should I just keep that in my dreams? So... I started my new job on Monday, and let me say this. My expectations are pretty high for atmosphere at work, recently... Apple Elk Grove was awesomely fun, Comtek was an amazing growing experience with some of the coolest coworkers ever (not to mention my awesome bosses, Larry and Rob) despite being one of the most shitty work situations EVER (blame Mike @ Mad Dog for that one).
