hi there fine peeps of fubar, well just when you thought it was safe, to resume life blam, you get hit full force with a major problem. well thats what happeened to me this past tuesday.i was informed that my oldest daughter was dianosed with stage 4 cancer, stage 4 is the worst that you can have, they did a biospoy and sent it to buffalo, and are waiting for teh results, but they are pretty sure that it is stage 4 cancer, to all you women and men out there, if caaancer runs in your family, then please i beg of you, plz get checked out, get testedd, cause early dection is teh key to survial.anywaaays they found that my daughter has breast cancer,lung cancer, ovarian cancer, andstomach canceer, and bone caancer,no she did not know. and yes she got three different opitions.what really sucks is shes got three beaautiful kids, ages 6, 7, and 18 months, with teh 18 months being a baby girl. im gine your children grownign up with outa mother? can you imgine that???its hard enough for me bei

What do you consider the ultimate deception? Would it be to have been in a relationship for 5 years to find out that you were cheated on? Or to have been in that relationship to find out that the person you trusted most, was a child molester? That he had cheated on you with his own children? Dialysis
Well here is the latest update.. My mom started dialysis on Wednesday.. Although it has helped her to feel better it is a bad step in this whole kidney failure process.. One of my moms test came back "bad". Not sure what that means but they took her off one of her meds and they are gonna test her again here soon.. Hopefully we can get her approved to have the transplant soon.. I am just anxious to get to the point where I can go and test to donate my kindney.. We still dont have a guarentee that I can do it but I want to at least go do all the tests and hope that I can.. Well that is the latest.. So now we just wait and go through this dialysis process.. Which if we dont get to the transplant process is a perminant thing for the rest of her life.. I hope things work out.

First Read-thru
There is something very exciting about the first rehearsal of any play or musical I am in. There's an excitement of creation, a feeling of teamwork and a sense of ownership of a role to play. It is always invigorating. This time around it is no different, except for one tiny...person. To be involved with my daughter in the same show fills me with pride and responsibility. Having a shared hobby, no matter what that may be, gives me such joy and a feeling of family. And it runs rampant with the rest of the cast as well. Sisters, parents and their children performing for the sake of Theatre Arts. We had a first read thru of the script tonight. Everyone sitting around together, laughing at the prose, and just having a great time. Bringing culture to everyone, not just the priveleged few, is what this particular venue is about. Now, will there be offstage antics? Probably. Drama Queens and Kings? Absolutely. And I wouldn't want it any other way.

My New Job
Well, its been forever since I've last written in here so I'll dust off the keys and bring you guys up to speed on what been going on with me. Firstly I am sick of health care. I've had 9 clients since the beginning of summer and 4 of them have passed away due to cancer and other unforeseen circumstances. I'm getting tired of it. My current guy has the worst case of Alzheimer's I've ever seen and he's one scary mo fo. So, I applied for a job in late August and got hired. The only snag was that I had to take a college level course first which cost me 400 buck,s then a provincial license exam which was 110, times 2 cause it was so effing hard, and tomorrow I'll pay another 150 to get my Life and Accident and Sickness license to sell Insurance I'm going to be selling supplemental life insurance. Grr. Frustrated with everything lately. Broke up with Joe recently. Have a very strong feeling he was not honest with me while we were together. Work is slow, yet again. We are faced with such an awesome task this election. It's been forever Mr. C, hope you are enjoying life and having many great adventures. Things on my side have been boring and normal. Exactly what I wanted right? I still miss spontanuity and excitement but atleast I have routine and stability, I guess you can only have one or the other. I feel sad sometimes at how hard he tries to make me feel the way he does. But you and I both know its not how I am made. I care for him a great deal but I still think of what I gave up for this life I now call mine. I used to think I'd give anything to have a normal life like this, sitting at home watching the grass grow. No more traveling, sleeping on buses and in hotel rooms. Jessie's Surgery 10-29-08..day From Hell!!!
So this surgery was to remove all the lymph nodes under Jessie's right arm.Jessie's appt. was for 1:30 but we had to be there 2 hrs early for prep.She wasnt allowed to eat or drink after midnight the night be4.So she made sure she ate around 9 the previous night. We arrived at Magee where the surgery was taking place at 11 am.At around 1 pm Jess is getting pissed cuz she is hungry and the other people in the waiting room re bringing in food to eat while they wait for their family.They still hadnt taken her back to pre-op.At 2:30 not only is Jess pissed but so am I. They still hadnt called us back and I understand the Dr could have got held up but nobody informed us of anything.I went to the reception desk and complained and the woman called the pre-op and said,and I quote,"you need to come get this patient as her mother is being a bitch"! My Weekend In The Wild Midwest!
My adventure started by talking to a guy. We talked for over a month and he invited me for a weekend. I flew out on Halloween for a weekend. He picked me up at the airport and took me home. Artichokes with Butter Sauce 2 artichokes Lemon juice 1/4 cup butter or margarine 1 teaspoon snipped fresh dill, tarragon, or oregano, or 1/4 teaspoon dried dill, tarragon, or oregano, crushed 1 tablespoon lemon juice Wash artichokes, trim stems and remove loose outer leaves. Cut off 1-inch from each top, snip off the sharp leaf tips. Brush the cut edges with a little lemon juice. In a large saucepan or Dutch oven bring a large amount of lightly salted water to boiling; add artichokes. Return to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for 20 to 30 minutes or until a leaf pulls out easily. Drain artichokes upside down on paper towels. Meanwhile. for butter sauce, melt butter. Stir in herb and the 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Turn artichokes right side up. Serve with butter sauce. *NOTE - To eat artichokes, pull off one leaf at a time and dip base into sauce. Which Way Should I Go
This is the deal. After being in a commited relationship for 3 years and having it come crashing down around my head, my world is changing. My plans for marriage and moving to another state for his job but now that is not to be. So here I was getting ready for the move and marriage and my plans have now changed. There are not many jobs in this area to be had. Ive had a wonderful job offer about 3 hours from me. I need to take this job but just dont know really what i should do. Recipe called for 1 small jar of stuffed olives and 1 can of tomato sauce. 1 1/2 c Unbleached flour, sifted 1/2 c Sugar 2 ts Baking powder 1/2 ts Salt 1 1/2 ts Ground cinnamon 1/4 c Vegetable shortening 1 Large egg, slightly beaten 1/2 c Milk 1 c Tart apples * Nut crunch topping * Apples are to be washed and cored. Shred the unpeeled apples for recipe. ~--------------------------------------------------------------------- ~--- Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon into mixing bowl. Cut in shortening with pastry blender until fine crumbs form. Combine egg and milk. Add to dry ingredients all at once, stirring just enough to moisten. Stir in apples. Spoon batter into paper-lined 2 1/2-inch muffin-pan cups, filling 2/3rds full. Sprinkle with nut crunch topping. Bake in 375 degree oven 25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot with butter and homemade jelly or jam. NUT CRUNCH TOPPING: Mix together 1/4 c brown sugar (packed), 1/4 c chopped pecans and 1/2 t ground cinnamon in small bowl.

Cancer And The Forthcoming Loss Of A Friend

Last night i rushed my daughter in to the emergancy room because at 2:30am she stopped breathing. They were able to get her to breathe again and started treating her for asthma. When I was growing I was raised to treat women (I was taught this by my grandmother) with the upmost respect that they deserve. I was raise to treat them as equal, caring, honor and loyality. Grilled Portobello Mushrooms
Brush the mushroom with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and lots of black and red pepper (big mushroom, eh?). Today's Groaner An Indian walks into a cafe with a shotgun in one hand pulling a male buffalo with the other. He says to the waiter: "Want coffee." The waiter says, "Sure, Chief. Coming right up." He gets the Indian a tall mug of coffee. The Indian drinks the coffee down in one gulp, turns and blasts the buffalo with the shotgun, causing parts of the animal to splatter everywhere and then just walks out. Died In The Er
It was about 5 years now that it happened. I can remember almost everything but what lead to the event. I must of came to the breaking point in my life as ever time before I called for help of went to the hospital for help myself. Plus a few of the other times I didnt call for help. I just woke up the next day feeling great no affect of the pills.Until one night!!! I went out to go do something to do somethings for fun. But I didnt make it that far doing anything fun that is. I found my self in the hospital parking lot walking towards the ER. Dont even know how I got there or why I was even there. Next thing I'm on the ground not able to move. Ten people got laid off at work yesterday. Pretty cold I think, after telling them a few moments before the end of the day. I feel bad for them. Business is going slow again...blah, seems like it's always slow at this time of year. I had a mini meeting with my head supervisor and he was saying that it's going to get a lot slower and not too sure how work will be in a few days. It could either mean, they will lay off more people, they will shut things down for a while or whatever....I dunno. i hope that they dont' shut down work for a while because I don't have much PTO and I'm saving it for vacation next year. Last year or two years ago,I forget...they closed off work for 2 weeks. That sucked. I heard one of my coworkers talking that another place laid off 150 people and my dad worked there. So I gave him a call and he still has his job there. That's good. Anyways..blah blah....I guess I'll see how work is tomorrow.....and rats, I was gonna try to take monday off too ha ha
