Yesterday morning I had to go to the dentist to get 5 teeth pulled, along with stitches. I've been taking prescription ibuprofen and xanax to help me sleep it off. I'm not in too much pain today which surprises me. So much for handbell choir practice tonight, and we play Thursday on Thanksgiving. The church is still closed to the public due to the fire so we will be playing in the school. I go back to the dentist in a couple of weeks to get temporary teeth. I can't wait. i look aweful lol. And least I 'm getting my teeth fixed. It will be a long process though. I don't have to go back to work till Monday. I used my last 3 sick days(through Wed) and have Thursday and Friday off for holiday. Wed. I have to take Fiestysmee to Pope Animal Hospital to have surgery. Poor baby. Discovery.
I've rediscovered something after being single for almost 5 months. Something I had nearly forgotten. Sleeping alone once in a while is great. But doing it every night sucks. Alot. Beh. I also just rediscovered that if I clean my glasses I can see better. Last night I discovered that working a 14 hour shift at the worlds most boring job REALLY fucking sucks. Baked Eggs Florentine
reparation Time: 5 minutes Cooking Time: 15 minutes Serves: 4 Ingredients 10 oz. frozen chopped spinach, thawed 1/2 cup half and half 1/4 tsp. grated nutmeg 8 eggs 1 cup Swiss cheesegrated, grated 4 slices pumpernickel rye bread, toasted, optional Instructions Preheat oven to temperature 325°F. Place spinach in a sieve and press to squeeze out as much water as possible. Spread spinach in bottom of 4 lightly buttered shallow ramekins or individual gratin dishes. Drizzle each with 1 Tbs. half and half. Season with nutmeg and salt and pepper to taste. Carefully break 2 eggs into each dish. Drizzle with remaining milk and sprinkle with cheese. Bake 12-15 minutes, until whites are just set and cheese is melted. Serve with toast if desired.

Strawberry Tiramisu
I use fresh chopped strawberries in a layer inside, and fresh whole berries to decorate the top. Strawberry Syrup 1 Pint Strawberries, Hulled 1 Cup Granulated Sugar 1/3 Cup Strawberry Liqueur Put strawberries into a glass or enamel saucepan and mash with a potato masher. Cook over low heat for about 5 minutes or until the berries are soft and tender. Line a sieve with a large square of cheesecloth folded in half. Put it over a large glass measuring cup. Scrape berries and juice into the sieve. Gather the cheesecloth into a ball and allow the mixture to drip through. You should have about 3/4 cup strawberry juice. Discard the cheesecloth. Rinse the saucepan and return strawberry juice to the pan. Stir in sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat and boil for about 1 minute, until a clear syrup forms. Remove the pan from the heat. Rinse the sieve and strain the syrup through again. Skim any foam off the top. Cool to room temperature, add the liqueur, and chill the syrup

Today was fucked up. I felt like I was drunk all day... Yes, I did go out for drinks last night, but that isn't even why. I just felt out of it. Life Continued
As for me, I live my life one night at a time. That is about all I can do. When I became a vampire my life changed in ways I dont think I can explain. But I can try. I know there are those out there that do not believe, but vampires are real. We hide in the shadows of the night waiting and watching. Yes, we do feed on blood, but we do not always kill our donors. They live on waking usually with a very bad headaches. So many things have changed within my body after the change. I'm able to see colors in deeper detail than most mortals. New York Cheesecake
1 1/4 cups crushed zweiback crumbs 3 tablespoons melted butter 1 tablespoon sugar 2 pounds cream cheese 1 1/3 cups sugar 4 eggs 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons grated lemon zest 1/3 cup heavy cream In a bowl, mix together the crumbs, butter, and sugar and press into the bottom and partly up the sides of a 9 or 10 inch springform pan. Bake in a preheated 325F for 8 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool. In a mixer, combine the cheese and sugar until blended. Add eggs and blend until smooth. Mix in flour, lemon zest, and cream. Pour into crust lined pan. Bake in a preheated 400F oven for 10 minutes, reduce temperature to 250F and continue baking 35 to 40 minutes longer or until just barely set. Turn off the oven, leave the door ajar, and let cool in the oven for 1 hour longer. Chill. To serve, remove pan sides and cut into wedges.

Week 3 & 4
I know its been awhile but the last 2 weeks have been hell. God I think death would have been better. Its finally getting a bit better. I think we finally found the correct dosage of pain killer to help me function some. I actually went out to watch some hockey today it was great. Got myself tired out tho. The doctors say I should be loosing my hair soon. I figured I'd go crazy and get them colored before I do so. Got me some green color. Ya Ya I know crazy canucks. What can I say. On Monday I'm being tested to see if the chemo is working. They are doing multiple test but the xray should be ready monday. I'm so keeping my fingers cross. The chemo is getting me pretty sick. I Miss Them...
I really miss my best friends... one of them is goin through a really hard time right now... the other just moved to Alaska... I'm kinda stuck here in the middle... I love them both very much... and nothing will ever change that... I wish I could be with them right now... I really do... I wish I didnt live so far from both of them...
