Winnipeg Jets 4 Carolina Hurricanes 3 (OT) – The win over the Hurricanes ran the Jets winning streak to five. All five of the wins have come at the MTS Centre as the Jets have now played five of six games on their current home stand. Byfuglien put home the rebound off an Andrew Ladd shot to give the Jets their longest winning streak of the season, and also their longest since the move to Winnipeg. It was another three point night for Ladd although he did have his three game goal-scoring streak snapped. His point streak is now at a season-high six games, tying his career high (4-8-12). Wheeler had his second straight three point night as well with a goal and two helpers to extend his point streak to five (3-7-10). Bryan Little chipped in with two assists to extend his point streak to five games (1-8-9) as well. In the five game win streak the line has combined for 30 points. Bogosian also had an assist for his third straight two-point game. The Jets have now won the last 15 games in which Little has recorded a point. Byfuglien had seven hits and six shots on goal to lead the team in both categories while Grant Clitsome lead in ice time at 25:58, his highest of the season.
