London Was Burning
Had such a fun time back in London for two nights doing comedy at Watford, which also gave me time to catch up with my daughter Ashley who is living in London for three weeks. She is working and writing and keeping busy. Ashley is living with a lovely woman called Sue; she owns an amazing house in Islington. So, I organised to meet her at Groucho club in Soho. I've had one of those days that turned into a week that stretched into a month. You know the day....where you wake up and stub your toe walking to the coffee pot, which you thought you just forgot to set on auto, but really quit working. Which sucks because you only bought it last week, then you open the cabinet to get out the instant (used only in dire emergencies & this qualifies) only to find it has been there so long it is one huge piece that has fused together with no hope of chipping enough away to make a cup of java. Anyway...I know you got it now. All I really want to do is climb back into bed with cookie dough and cry until my eyes are swollen and force me into a 24 hour sleep. The problem is I hate self-loathing, I don't handle feeling down well and while I know the source, they are multiple ones. Do You Play Other Games While Playing Lotro
MMOs tend to have dedicated fan bases and everyone has their favourite: Aion, City of Heroes, WoW, Guild Wars, Lord of the Rings Online ... the list goes on and on. Everyone has their own personal favourite or the hip one that everyone and their pet goldfish is currently engrossed in. For example, I'm renowned for my adoration of the gorgeous USA MMO that is LOTRO, as well as my passion for WoW while LOTRO power leveling. Personally, these are the only two MMOs which do it for me enough that I will spend copious amounts of time exploring, questing and flying around pretty aimlessly. I enjoy beautiful scene and epic storyline while Lord of The Rings Online Power Leveling. So two is my limit, I will occasionally play a couple extra, if I have to review something or a beta comes up but there's often little to keep me going past that. Yet LOTRO and WoW remain, filling the void and I couldn't be happier. Especially as there's more than enough happening between the two of them at the moment

My house has a Dutch hip joint roof. That means there are no interior load bearing walls. Two years ago I tore out the wall between the living room and the kitchen. Last year I took out the 8' ceilings, and reinforced the roof with 2 x 10s leaving me with a vaulted ceiling. Missouri And Iowa Today
We had two couples join us yesterday in Kansas City. Three baggers between them. So now there is another lady rider with me! The factory tour was nice but it didn't make me want a new bike. It made me want to get out of the building and RIDE. Harley does have a nice tour of their Kansas City plant. I recommend it. A small group of us chose to ride backroads through farm towns today on our way to our hotel. 300 miles of beautiful green pastures, lawns, and crops. It was an amazing day. We Are Back In California
Our summer vacation on the motorcycles is almost over. We rode into California this morning and are at my daughter's house until tomorrow morning. The ride today was uneventful. T-storms were predicted so we left our hotel early to avoid them. It was windy but mostly clear and warm. By noon I'd taken off my jacket. The roads in CA are by far the worst of all 16 states we have ridden in. With such high fuel taxes, I constantly wonder what we are paying for. Certainly not good, quality road maintenance. My butt is tired of bumpy roads! I've logged close to 6,000 miles in the 21 days we have been on the road. My longest day of riding was 520 miles. The least was just over 200 (in the Black Hills when we were cruising around one day). My bike was parked for two days total and I either rode with my husband (Canada trip) or took a shuttle (Milwaukee). My bike is a mess. Cream Chicken And Biscuits
4 oz. chicken breast meat, cut into thin strips 1 oz. assorted mushrooms, fresh and wild, sliced 2 tsp. red peppers, diced 2 tsp. green peppers, diced 2 thin slices jalapeno pepper 3 oz. heavy cream Salt and pepper to taste Saute chicken and mushrooms briefly. Add peppers and jalapenos. Add heavy cream. Reduce to desired consistency. Season with salt and pepper. Spoon over warm biscuits. BISCUITS: 4 c. flour 5 tsp. double acting baking powder 6 oz. butter, softened 10 oz. milk 1 tsp. salt Mix together flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut butter into flour mixture until it resembles fine crumbs. Add milk all at once and blend. Roll out 1 1/2 to 2 inches thick. Cut into circles with a cookie cutter. Brush with egg wash of an egg and water. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-17 minutes.

The Best Chocolate Chip Cookie
2 cups butter 24 oz. chocolate chips 4 cups flour 2 cups brown sugar 2 tsp. soda 1 tsp. salt 2 cups sugar 1 8oz. Hershey Bar (grated) 5 cups blended oatmeal 4 eggs 2 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. vanilla 3 cups chopped nuts (your choice) Measure oatmeal, and blend in a blender to a fine powder. Cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and soda. Add chocolate chips, Hershey Bar and nuts. Roll into balls, and place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes 112 cookies. Recipe may be halved.

Blueberry Yogurt Ice Cream
1/2 pint (250ml) double (heavy) cream 1lb (450-500g carton) of natural yogurt 1lb (450g) blueberries (rinsed clean) 9oz (250g) caster sugar 4 tbsp of cassis 1. Place the caster sugar and blueberries together in a saucepan. Stir in 250ml (8fl oz) of cold water and bring to the boil. Simmer for about 10 to 12 minutes. 2. When the blueberries are tender remove the pan from the heat. Take out approx 1/4 of the blueberres from the pan and put to one side to cool and use later. Using a food processor or blender, take the remaining mixture from the pan and blend it with the cassis, then pour into a bowl and allow to cool. 3. Whip the double (heavy) cream and fold it into the bowl of blended mixture along with the yoghurt and berries which were placed to one side earlier. I've got all these people(I'm sure they're all nice too)on my "friends" list, yet I don't hear from 90% of them. What is up with that? When I left I said quite clearly "Hopefully this site will turn itself around, before it kills itself, and if it does then one day I might return, but as it stands I'm joining the others in the great exodus." I've been given some information today that suggests such changes are being implemented. I've been asked to say no more, and the information comes to me second hand (I'm being told what someone else was supposedly told), but if it is true then it does change things. As I said, to avoid any drama it's been requested that I say no more on the subject, so I won't be saying anything else, except to say I am "returning" for a trial period.
