so some of you know im joining the army. well, i took the pre asvab today and i scored a hell of a lot higher than i thought i would. i got a 79. the recruiter said the one i took on the computer is harder than the actual one im going to take on the 8th. david is so proud of me. hell i am too. i thought i was going to do a lot worse. I still cant believe that i did that well. im still going to get some books to study up on the sections that i didnt do so well in. theres no harm in wanting to do better

Criminal Charges Mount After Swift Raid
About 220 employees detained during immigration raids in Minnesota and five other states last month are now facing charges of identity theft or other criminal counts. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents raided Swift and Company plants in Worthington, Minnesota, and plants in Colorado, Nebraska, Utah, Iowa and Texas. A total of nearly 1,300 employees were detained December 12th. Swift CEO Sam Rovit says neither the company, nor any current or former managers, will face charges, but ICE spokesman Tim Counts says the investigation is still under way. Yes I finally got around to fitting the new fender. Well me thinking that if i can't cut the bolt off, i didn't really want to break the old fender off the bike. " hours later of cutting the head off and leaving enough to still trap the bolt, I realised i should have broken the old one off and then cut from the other side. Well when i cut that side off I still couldn't get the old blot out because there was no head to undo the bolt LOL. A quick use of a file sorted that as it freed the part of the nut left to undo by hand and the bolt dropped out. It was a bit of a squeeze putting the new one in but it fitted and bolted up perfectly. As i was down there on one side of the bike, something caught my eye. It seems that where the indicator enters the upper fairing, it somehow got broken and the panel screw was tightned too far. Now when this happened is the question because its a slight crack and fixable with a bit of super glue, but I have a feeling it may have been done when the bike

Yes we have enough troops. The politicians are afraid to use them all. Because with no reserves we go back to a draft, just like wars past. Had we had a draft and mobilized 750,000 it would be over now. The death toll would have been high but it would have been over. It seems that people prefer a slow fix to save lives as opposed to a fast fix so we can get on with things. By fast fix I mean five years, by slow fix I mean fifty plus years. Today has been a day of rest and thinking for me. I woke up this morning after about 2 hours of sleep and realized how drained I was emotionally and physically. So yesterday was an awesome/hectic day. 5 Years Ago
I'm not asking anyone to care. I'm not asking anyone to love me. I just needed to write about this. 5 years ago, I was told my mom had liver cancer that had several lesions (mets) on her brain. The cancer had never been seen before, they didn't know how to treat it and the prognosis wasn't good. They asked what did we want to do or what her wishes were. From my own experience of working 15 years in the medical field, I knew the odds. I had to make the toughest decision of my life and told them to make her a "DNR comfort measures only." She died a week later on 1/31/02 There were 2 other incidents that happened around that time that really would have shaken many people up. I had them hit all at once. My best friend at the time said she was amazed that I didn't put a bullet through my head having to deal with all of it. I didn't deal with it all. I went into "Auto Pilot". The Doctors Don't Know
I want someone to explain to me why that my doctors can not tell me what I have in my intestines..Now I have this same problem since New years eve when this all started..They told me that I had something metallic in my intestines..But can not tell me what it is..I spent 7 days in the hospital with this..And have had to go back 3 or 4 times since this has began..Now what I'm not really understanding is why they can't do something..I mean I stay sick and hurting constantly..So the doctor finally told me tonight that I need to go back to my doctor Monday and tell him that I want them to do a exploritory surgery to either find out what it was or to get it out..I would prefer they took it out myself..But hey what do I know? August 25, 2006, 10:36:pm Some people may ask "Why in the heck would you allow yourself to get so fat!?", Well I guess I'll answer that tonight. Its called depression. Low self esteem. Loosing all hope. Being out of your mind with grief over the loss of loved ones. Surviver of abuses. And many many other reasons. Each purrson has their reasons why they get fat. 9-16-06 9th Entry (part 1)
September 16, 2006, 01:07:am Not really sure, yet again, what I should talk about tonight. Kind of hard to think of of things to write about when there are so many ideas floating around in my mind, yet I keep doubting myself as to what I should put. I'm still having reservations about writting this stuff, but I continue to also have the urge that I must do it. So I guess I'm gonna lol. Well lets see...This past week I had my psycological evaluation for the gastric bypass. I've gone through it before but since it has been over a year, I had to take it again. Apparently I did pretty good because the Doc said it looks like I will be able to handle it (the process after the surgery). Told me though to keep an eye on the OCD and make sure to let Doc know if I go a bit haywire due to medication adjustments after surgery. I should be ok though cause I've been off the meds for a few days and am doing pretty good considering I've been sick all this week and am getting worse (sick). Not

My weekend went well Saturday was my first day at work and all I did was learn and observe how my cousin/boss do things with the clients and was there from 2:30pm-8:30pm.Sunday me and my husband had to get some shopping done at Dollar General Store and Wal-Mart then I treated my husband to lunch at Applebee’s and then after lunch it was off to work for me I had to work from 2:30pm-8:30 pm and it was 1:2 that means I worked with two clients. Ok...so my mother is off life support and is hanging in there. Family came in and have been amazingly supportive...it has been nice to not feel like everything is on my shoulders. We are moving her to hospice within the next couple of days. A friend of mine from here lost her husband to enemy fire in Iraq Friday. The helicopter he was flying was shot down, killing him and one other soldier. She was 38 weeks pregnant and went into labor this morning after getting the report of Jason's tragic death. I spoke with her mother earlier today and she said that Genni is doing as well as expected. She said the only peace that she has is knowing that Jason died doing what he loved doing. Dreaming

Marine Mail Call
(received from Shrinky) During mail call one evening at Marine Corps boot camp, I received several letters from home. The drill instructor was getting irritated at having to keep calling my name. Trained as a Marine to think quickly on my feet, I yelled out, "Sir, creditors, sir!" The DI had to leave the room so we wouldn't see him laughing.

I bought a dirt bike. Brand new. 2007 Suzuki DR-Z 125L. It was on sale and I couldnt pass it up. I pick it up at around 4ish. My friend is coming to pick me up to take me down to get the bike. For the record, this isnt the bike I'm gonna race, obviously. And I'm not racing until the 2008 series, so I have time to get my second bike still. I'm still excited about this one though... it seems a little unreal right now. But once the bike is in the back of my friends truck... it'll all set in! And I'll have pics too.
