Please pass this along, this is such a wonderful way to help people who NEED someone to care. I am a founding member of AIA and I would love to see it grow more. The Angels in Atlanta formed just over two years ago in September 2004. A small group of volunteers came together in an effort to support families of children who are suffering (and FIGHTING) pediatric cancer. Our main goal is to feed families whose children are going through treatment and who are inpatient at either Egleston or Scottish Rite Hospital. Upon meeting these amazing children and their parents, we have come to realize that so many of the families have very little support--both emotionally and financially. It also came as a shock to many of us to realize that oftentimes treatment would force these children to remain hospitalized for weeks to even months at a time. PS I finally gave in and admitted that I am bi! I am really scared right now. My Aunt Cathy which is who I live with has Chondrosarcoma Cancer. She has been on radiation and chemotherapy and it isn't working. Instead the tumors have been growing. Now not only are the tumors growing but she is falling all the time. She has fallen 10 times or more in 3 weeks. Last night she fell and hit her head on the floor extremely hard. I am really scared for her and scared that she might die or be comatose. She would hate that more than almost anything. She is scared too which means that she takes it out on me. I don't mind helping her at all but sometimes it is just so overwhelming. What if one of these days she falls and I am not here to help her? Or what if she falls and gets seriously hurt. She needs to have surgery because if she doesn't she might be paralized but if she does have the surgery she might not walk again and if she does walk she will probably have to have a walker. I don'

8 Out Of 9 Lives Left
yeah so apparently i was extremely lucky thursday night at the fire in mill creeks local. M.Fizzil and i were pulling the ceiling in the fire room with another crew when one of the 220 lines split sending sparks every where and a live wire down towards us. i thought we got out of the way, turns out i was wrong. when we went outside to refill our air packs and get ready to go back in, our driver asked me what the hell i did to my gear. apparently that wire came down, dripped on the front of my helmet as it melted and the actual line hit my coat on the back of my left arm. needless to say, there is a nice large burn mark on the sleeve that went through 3 of the 4 layers of my turnout coat. now the coat has to get sent out, checked to see if its a loss, and i need another new coat. what freaks me out though is the fact that i didnt feel it. even as it burned through, i felt nothing. dont get me wrong, im fuckin thankfull i didnt get zapped, but maybe feeling something to tell me i was on

Ok now here is just something to think about.. Why is it that men automatically think they can be disrespectful when commenting a pic of adult nature? I love doing things for people. Everyone you meet. What makes them special enough for you to hang around with them even though they show no interest or very little. New Baby Boy
Just wanted to let everybody know baby is here, he is a little early but he is very good now. He had a rough start and had to be flown to bigger hospital for NICU. It was horrible 1 doctor would say one thing and another would say something else it was crazy, still dont really know what happen. I am just very thankful to the goddess for him and the fact that he can breath now and I can hold him and walk around with him without tubes and alarms. And the fact he only had to be there a week. I found out today that insurance wont cover my CD player because it wasn't the one that came in the car. Im pissed. I expected them not to cover the camera though. I wasnt surprised about that. Well, it was Sunday and I went out to eat lunch sometime in the afternoon. I enjoyed my food and to my surprise when I got back to my car my cd player was stolen. I finally got off my ass and got my GED (good enough diploma, haha), which I happened to score super high on. I scored higher than like 90% of all who have taken it. Which isn't bad! So sad.... There was an amber alert yesterday for a 16 year old girl that disappeared from her job at a diner yesterday morning.
