Daughtry Tour Updates- O.c. Fair
Hey gang! We just pulled back into home base in good Ol' Urbana, Oh for a quick layover on our tour w/ Daughtry. We played the O.C. Fair in sunny California Wednesday night. Flew in, played a show, hung out, flew back home for a few days rest before we head back to the Cali. next week to pick up the rest of the tour. The trip was great and we had a blast not only with the new friends and fans we made, but also with our new friends in the Daughtry crew. I'm posting a video with some footage of the show. How I Feel...
I am not me, and I'm not who you WANT me to be. Who does that make me? Every dream I've ever chased has failed miserably. This was all I had left, all I Truly wanted, and now even this dream has been placed on hold. I can never be who I want to be, and it's not because of anyone else. It's because I LET my dreams die. About The Blackfoot Tribe

We live in a world of segregation. We all have been segregated by society, family, friends, enemy's, churches and ourselves. Segregation does exist in today's world, we are just to judgmental and programmed to sense the segregation. I have been experiencing segregation for quite sometime now. Pathetic Online Tough Guys
Most people have had to deal with them. Mostly men, but occasionally women, who supplement their pathetic real lives by trying to be 'billy bad-asses' online. I stare in awe at how sad that is! Many people have wild, tough REAL lives. They've proven themselves over and over again. To act as if you're a mob boss on a computer, randomly making rude comments or ridiculous threats, causes me to wonder if they're trying to compensate for something. I don't know, maybe the men have small penises and women have cellulitic bodies! All in all, they annoy me. Generally, I don't tolerate conversing with them...I simply block them. How I Feel
Am I to be happy? I dwell so deep within myself that I have never seen the light of day. The past never happened, the future will never come, and the present isn't real. Depression is a part of everyday life. The birds chirp for someone else, The day warms the lives of everyone, but me. Perfect Saturday
OMG...the girls and I had SUCH a great day today! The day started with one of our favorites, poached eggs on toast w/ cheese. Sort of like an egg McMuffin only made at home on wheat toast and SO much better for you. The I took them to downtown Hampton to the Virginia Air and Space Center! We had SUCH a good time! Emily was a little young, but they both loved it. We had a lot of fun in the exhibits, ate lunch in the little cafe, ate some freeze dried space ice cream, and took some really fun pics (I'll post 'em in a little while). Then, we went to Sam's really quick and picked up our copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows! The girls and I just had such a great time and the weather was beautiful...*sighs and smiles*... It is Vacation time. If my bed gets jumped on one more time ( by anyone who isn't me ) I'm thinking of installing spikes. I've dodged the "mooooom I'm bored" bullet for the last time. "You're bored? The Bus Ride Home
I wasn't very happy that I had to go all the way home again this weekend for yet again another family gathering. Ok, so I was outside all day yesterday, and my arms are soooo very burned now, they hurt to move.... I remember as a kid, I could play outside for hours, and I would just get tanner and tanner, and never have to worry about it... As a teenager, I would burn, but in a few days time it would turn into tan, and it never really hurt but the first day... Now, I'm almost 30 and I burn, I'm in pain for about a week, then the skin peels, and I'm pale as I was before I was in the sun... I guess this is one of the beauties of getting older....

Ahhhhhh...Much better. That nap kicked my bad mood away. I feel a hell of a lot better than I did an hour or so ago when I posted my last blog entry. Also - If you guys are looking for a really good easy marinade for some of your meat - try out the Jack Daniels marinades. I just tried my first one today on the steaks I cooked outside - and oh my gravy! First off when I was outside cooking it, it smelled Sooooooo good. I actually had people from the park thats across the street from me stop by my house and asked what smelled so good. Then the taste....Holy Crap. It tasted Soooooooooooooo good. I would definitely recommend it. All you have to do is put in up to 3 pounds of meat in the actual bag the marinade comes in...and refrierate(sp?) it for at least a half hour before you are ready to cook it. The one I bought and used today was the Terriyaki. Definitely look for it in your groccery stores. I highly recommend it! BrattyBytch OUT!

Today was an awful hot day in the south and of course humid, it did cool off some later in the day with some clouds, but little relief with the air conditioner at home not working. It isn't expected to be fixed till Tuesday, so I will actually be glad to be at work during the heat of the day tomorrow. As a few of you know starting this week i will begin working two jobs and will have a lot less time on here to keep up, I will try to post things happening in my life here in this blog to keep you all up to date. My Story
Hello My name is Ben Varela. I have had a heart problem since 1998. I was doing a regular physical for my schools basketball team then I was given the news that I wouldn't be able to pass due to the problem. I needed a heart pacemaker inserted. All was fine until 2000 in which I needed Open-Heart Surgery. Well I was supposed to have another surgery last summer in July but by the grace of God and I believe my dad, I felt them pull my heart out of my body and say that you don't need the surgery son, you will be cured. Sure enough, it happened one week before the surgery that it happened and one week later up at Stanford Medical they ran tests to see how I am doing and sure enough they said that I didn't need the surgery. It has been one year since the miracle and all my tests run the same and they say it looks like I don't need the pacemaker any more. A New Beginning
