Me I Guess

How Much Can One Take?
This is a question that has been on my mind quite a bit of late, not so much for myself as it is for those I love. Last night, a member of our family was placed in protective custody and put on suicide watch. Over the course of the last week, there had been some behavioral issues with this person, but no indication of how bad he was feeling until yesterday and last night. Although not a shrink or anything, I have done a lot of research on the subject due to a friend who committed suicide when I was in school...in my family member's case, there was never any indication/signs/etc. I'm even more concerned with my fiancee, who seems to have stuff constantly piled on her to the point where it seems like she's gonna break. Still Need Your Prayers
Update on my uncle's grandson. He is still in really bad condition. The doctors have had to go in and put a bullet in his head. This is done to release pressure off the brain due to swelling. The baby is still not breathing on his own. He is alive from life support. He still has brain activity so he is not clinicaly dead as of yet. Please keep this little man in your prayers he really needs them. I know he has angels watching over him. The state has took over the case and are trying the parents for attempted murder. Also they told us that if the child passes then they will charge them with murder also. Our state does not have a death penalty, but I wish it did. he Interstate 35W bridge that MnDot has been working on all summer has collapsed. The entire span of the 35W bridge collapsed about 6:05 p.m. where the freeway crosses the river near University Avenue. Traffic in both directions was affected. I just got wind of a terrible accident back in Minneapolis, MN where I'm from. It is being broadcasted live basically on any news channel. A bridge over the Mississippi River collapsed and it was somewhere along I-35 near the University of Minnesota. I tried calling my parents but no answer. So I may not be on for a couple of days or at least til I find out about if any of my family or friends were on that bridge.

I Dont Get It?
So many instances over the last 2 yrs have I found women prefering to become involved in a "friends with bennies" relationship rather than the traditional monogomus couples relationship. I have been asked to be in so many of those type of relationships that it is making me wonder if women even want true love anymore or are they out for the fun of it all. Well, mostly. I was told that I would be transfered to the store I wanted to go to. But not right away. They still have to sort out who is going to be moved where and when to replace me. Tues July 31st marked the 9th week since I started the paper work for my wage replacement disability insurance. First check is finally in the mail today. I never said I was a patient person. The older I get the less patient I become. But I think I did rather well waiting for them to get their ass's in gear. I only drove my friends mildly crazy,(ok maybe a bit more that mild). I did call the main number to ask the status of my claim every other day. And knowing that they would never give me the real address to their office I did not hoard gas in my car so I could drive east to "talk" in person. I did how ever learn who my friends are. And I was very surprised at the level of help. I will never be able to give back all they gave me. And I'm not just talking money, which did help a lot! They hauled my sorry butt to the store, vacuumed my living and dining room. Dragged me out to dinner or lunch or both to make sure I ate healthy more than once a week. And unhealthy at least once

Well i was pleasantly suprised, she was neither rude nor mean. She told me point blank that i need to lose weight, which DUH i know...lol So she gave me lists of things...and a guideline of how much of what to eat, seems straightforward enough. I'm pleased that she didn't expect me to go out and buy special foods, just alot of veggies....which i knew i would have to. The only thing i was suprised about was almonds, i HAVE to eat 8 almonds a day. She said it's good for my cadrio vascular system So we shall see how it goes.....wish me luck

Job Prospect Update!
So I received a call this afternoon from the current direct of the tutoring center where I applied. She wants to meet with me next Thursday at 4:00. She sounded extremely nice, and it sounded rather informal. Her words were "Are you still interested in coming in to see the center and sit down and have a chat with me?" I*m really excited for this. Apparently it is between me and one other girl. Of course, I have no experience as a director or manager of anything, but I do have the degree, the office skills, and the compassion and patience for the job. Houseguests
A few of you know that my sister and her husband are divorcing. It sucks but it doesnt. Her and her 2 kids are moving down here from Michigan on the 11th and they will be living with me untill she gets on her feet.
