I had an unfortunate assurance when I caused my own downfall by opening my mouth too wide and putting my whole foot and leg in it. I regret that I didn't utilize the self control I have preached to others. So to start it, I leave to go get my mom a gift certificate at this place she likes right? Yeah I get about 7 miles down the Interstate and BAM car decides to stop working. What'd I Get From Fubar For Christmas? What'd You Get?
Well, I was in a lounge (Erotic Seductions) when I opened my gift. I'd just bought a round of Corona's for everyone. Well, MY gift was 50,000 FU bucks. I moved up 2 1/2 levels as well! To me it means this a time that has been along time coming. Its a great time to be alive to witness such a historical event. I think about all the stories my grandmother use to tell me about the struggles of being black in America. Now we can be proud of the changes and the sacrifices that have been made for such an event to happen in our lifetime. Our parents always told of stories about their past. I have had a remarkable two weeks away from work and I could not ask for a better life right now as of yet. It only seems to get better and better every day. I have the woman of my dreams in my life finally and we are getting by day by day. Hah, so this morning I awaken to the memory of my dreams last night and they were pretty wild. I dreamed that I was hired to be Tony Stark's (Ironman) assistant. I have no clue where this came from, seeing as I haven't watched the movie in like a month. One of my dad's friends was the waiter, and I saw several teachers from high school as well. So its Sunday tomorrow Tristen goes back to school. Alexzander & Kieyah go back to daycare. As for me starting school. I have decided to go back to school to finish my high school. For those people that don't know I got pregnant with my oldest when I was 17 and was unable to stay in school. I have though long and hard about going back to school. Looked in to regular high school and places that I can go and do the work myself without a teacher. I found out that the Native Friendship Center in my area offered schooling. As I am 23 year old I have the choice to pick my own hours the only thing is I have to finish 20h a week 2 lessons a week and do some weekly goal sheet. I figured I can handle that no problem. So I'm watching the postgame of yet another disgusting loss in a BCS Bowl Game and I have to listen to the regular garbage that spews from the ignorant mouths of less-than-intelligent players. What I Hate...about You
Ok, so this really isn't about anyone specific, but just turning a phrase on an old TV show name. As you can guess from the title, top ten hates. Yes, hate is a strong word. What Truck Drivers Think About
I have been a over the road truck driver for 4 years now. What I think about when I drive is about my family at home, the mail I can't recieve, the people driving around me. Safety is first on my list of things to take care of even though I do not get paid for that. What To Wear
Today I'm supposed to go get my picture (re)taken for my work's website. We all look individual pictures this summer, but the regular photographer was out. The guy who took the pics did a horrible job and pretty much all of us hate our photos. So today I get to have a redo. The problem, I can't decide what to wear. His band won the Guitar Center contest garnering them prize money and a management contract and a recording deal with Motley Crue's Eleven Seven label also joining MC on tour. What An Experience
Now that I have had time to truly digest all that occurred while I was in DC, I can write about it. First and foremost, I intended to blog about my time in DC but I was always rushing around or so dead exhausted I really didn't have time to do much of anything other than live the experience. I was also never really patient enough to figure out how my free internet in my room worked so I just gave up quickly. I had an absolute blast in DC. It was one of the most life changing experiences of my life. I was there with one of my best friends in the world and we truly had the time of our lives.
