Well as you already know if you saw my page, my name is Kris. The "Jailbird" is my CB handle given to me by my co-worker 9 years ago during my divorce. Let's just say I should have 86'd divorce court that day. LOL I came to fubar by invitation from a friend. I am currently on winter layoff til spring and its much needed after a long summer and fall. So I may wasting time here til its time to hit the pavement again.
Who am I? My hubby name is Jerry. We have been married 5 years and he is a great guy! I have 3 daughters and he has a son to give us a blended family of 6. And what makes it tough is my daughter and his son are both 16! AHHHH! Two rebels at once!! LOL My oldest is grown up and moved on to her own life at 20. I also have a surprise daughter, at 10 years old. She is the outgoing, cheerleader, dancer, singer, and just an all around good kid.
I also have 4 kitties. When hubby and I were over the road truckers as a team we got bored with each other after a year, so while on a layover in Lynchburg, Virginia we adopted a sweet personality, Baby. She is a short fat cat with a sweet disposition and full of love. Then a year later my sisters cat had babies and I wanted the white one. Kenny, short for Kentucky on his adoption papers, is a tall 19 lb baby. He is my dog trapped in a cats body. People think I am nuts cuz he is trained to go to bed when told, play fetch, he argues, he jumps on me like a dog, waits outside any door of the room I am in, wakes me up with a wet nose on my neck when the alarm goes off every morning, and sleeps on me ALL the time. Then some asshole abandons a tiny white kitty and put a milk crate on her so I put her in the truck also. Zoie is mean. She is pure white with an attitude that makes mine look good. And thats hard to do. And this summer after I left the road behind me, my sister in law found a small kitten under her house. When no mommy came to claim her she took it in and called me. I took her in a heartbeat. Jazzy is so spirited and wonderful.
I have driven a truck since I was 26. Its who I am. And because of this profession, and it being a mans world, I am NOT one to take a mans bull. I will take on any man who challenges me in the job. Women have evolved and are some of the best truckers around. And don't even try to harrass me sexually as one sorry ass found out in Girard Ohio one evening. Amazing how men can talk crap behind a computer screen and a CB.
I have a temper that has landed me in jail a couple times. Yes it was at my ex husband but the others I just never got caught. I will either be your best friend and have a heart of gold but when you piss me off trust me you will know it. My hubby used to get upset when I would get an attitude or whatever but as he got to know me he found I never spouted off til I was wronged, disrespected, or degraded. And my attitude about respect is so tight I can get results by being aggressively assertive.
And finally one thing thats also not a good idea is talking crap about my weight or any other persons weight. Weight is not what makes me who I am. Weight is just a thing. If a heavier person than you has a heart of gold and treats people well THAT is what makes that person who they are. So probably don't wanna go there.
