My favortie thing to do is give at Christmas time. But as a dump truck driver Christmas is a time for layoff so I had to find cheap ways to still fulfill my being. I found giving a Christmas decorated bag of cookies to friends is a great way to make them smile. It's cheap, its quick, and its sweet!
Here is the recipe.
1 stick Butter
2 Cups Sugar
4 tbsp Cocoa
1/2 cup Milk
2 cups Oatmeal
1/2 cup Peanut Butter
1 tsp. Vanilla
In a pan on the stove with it set at halfway drop in stick of butter, sugar, cocoa, and milk. Stir til melted and mixed. Once it begins to boil in the center of the pan, set a timer and let it boil for 2 1/2 minutes. When finished boiling, turn off heat, add peanut butter and oatmeal. Stir quickly and remove pan from stove. Mix should be thick once mixed!
Put on a counter a long piece of foil. Using a spoon make big or small blobs on the foil and let it sit til cool.
