What Happened To Me This Week...
This has been one hell of a week. For a week that started off so horribly, it sure ended on a bizarrely high note. For those of you that didn't know, I was in a really bad car accident last Friday, courtesy of a drunken driver. Yay. I was bruised, sprained, battered, and smashed.... but amazingly, did not break a single bone. Which is even more amazing considering I got a really bad concussion from putting my face through my side window. The bruising is only now starting to go away from my face. The only thing that tells me is my doc is going to have one HELL of a time cutting into my head, but that's another story for a later blog. So I was supposed to chill, rest, and relax this week. What I Did For My Labor Day Weekend 2007

What I Deal With Each Day

What The Hell Do You Really Get Out Of It?

I keep asking myself that. Someone whom I was really interested in referred me here, and I decided to hang around after she flaked. What I've Seen
So many people don't get to see what I see every day. I do go out on missions on average 5 times a week and so yes I do get to see the city and the people. It aggravates me to see the newspapers, the newsreels, and the headlines on the web. Always it is this many soldiers died, this many explosions occurred, this war will last this long. Someone tell these men and women to shut up. I've been here for a few months now. When I go out, my mission is to repair the lives of these people to better than it has ever been. So far, we've given these people electricity to their homes, running clean water, government infrastructure, security, schools for their children, and medical facilities for all. Hey everyone! Today has to be the worst day ever for me. I have been sick for a span of a month now and no sign of getting better, it makes me just want to curl up into a ball and die. ....is wrong with people? Not every person,of course. But dang! Two months ago my parents were robbed a gunpoint. They had no more pulled into their driveway, from dinner one evening, and got out of the car when a car pulled up behind them, blocking their driveway. Three guys (young guys) got out of the car and the one with the gun, went up to them demanding their wallets, keys to the car, etc. Of course my parents handed it all over and fortunately the guys just got in their car and left. What An Eventful Day!
I had a very busy day yesterday with going here and going there. Peter and I went and bought new towels and rug and stuff for the front bathroom to finish it off. It will look nice when I put it all together today. I went with browns and blues. We were planning on making hamburgers for dinner (something the kids love!) and I was going to make a macaroni salad to go with it but ran out of time. So when we were at Bed Bath and Beyond yesterday buying the bathroom stuff, we decided to go next door to the grocery store to just get a salad. Only thing is, we haven't been in that store since the infamous date of 12/06/07! Why? Because it is the store my son decided to steal a soda from and got caught! When we passed the doors, we thought for sure that alarms were going to go off. When we got to the check out stand, we just new that when we used our debit card that flashing red lights were going to spotlight us! It was kind of funny. So start getting ready first bad omen is I spill juice on my work shirt, second omen that's the only clean work shirt I have, third I drop my lip stick and get it on my shirt. My husband's aunt in in the hospital, listed in critical condition. They don't think she's going to hold out much longer. Derek and I went on a walk today through a park by my house. The town spent a ton of money to put up this boardwalk that goes through the park. There's a pier at one part that looks over the creek. There's a deck area with horse shoes and along the way there are little sheltered areas with picnic tables. Throught out the entire thing there is graffitti and stupid carvings in the wood. I had gastric bypass and was going through a major weight loss as well a being pregnant with my baby daughter. What's Been Going On...
I haven't really been on much in this past month. I've been so busy. I started cocktailing at the local strip club in late December so I'm there until almost 3am. What's Been Up With Me
It’s been a while since I have wrote anything. So much has been going on. The Tuesday before the girl’s birthday party, I woke up to learn that my back & hips where going to be a pain in my butt that day. I couldn’t sit up without crying my eyes out because it hurt so bad. The only thing I could do was lay in bed on my left side without moving. By Thursday I told Mama while I wasn’t hurting so bad I wanted to go out to garage and see the decorations for the girl’s party. I made it out there just fine. On our way back in the house, I went to step up into the house and my right leg gave way. Mama tried to stop me from falling but the way I was falling knocked her back and I hit the concrete breeze way in between the house and the garage. Should I really tell you my thoughts, I don't think you really want to know . There are people I have meet, that I know have changed my life. SO. My divorce will be over with in august, and my lease to my apt. in sept, which brings me to a question..why the hell should i stay in fayetteville, NC?
