Christmas
Well it has come and gone and I am so tired from all the running around. We went to his brothers house on saturday for a get together and visited one of his friends and styed up till 3 am baking for christmas. Relationships are something that scare me... no other way to put it. Sometimes I wonder why I try. I've had some pretty odd ones. I was married 3 1/2 years before my (ex)wife let us even have sex. I'm pretty sad tonight. One thing about the internet that's always difficult for me is that I get emotionally attached to people. And interests shift, and those relationships disappear. A Walk In The Misty Rain............
So I woke up this morning and thought that going for a walk to the store in the misty rain would be a good idea. And not to mention a good way to get the kids out of the House for awhile. So I am gonna give the New Year's Resolution thing a whirl this year. I wanted to come up with a great mind blowing resolution that will put all my old failed ones to shame but this is what I came up with instead... I am gonna start doing things in 2007 that make Jillie happy.... Yes seriously.. thats it... gonna try to be selfish and think of me... So here is a list of items that I allowed in 2006 that will not be there in 2007 1. I will take all the vacation time alloted to me. I will not leave 6 days of vacation unused at the end of the year because I am a control freak at the office and can not delegate responsibilities to others.. 1a. I will make sure that my assistants are properly trained so there will be no issues following through with #1. 2. Way More Annoyed Than I Should Be

Resolutions . .
I've recently sent out a bulletin asking what everyone had decided to make for New Years Resolutions. Afterall, even when you choose NOT to make one, you make one ;) So I figured it's only fair for me to jot down a few of my own. This year I hope to finish building an entirely new website from scratch to tack to my fantasy entertainment, so I've resolved myself to remember how much the work will be worth in the end. Also, I move around the country far to much. Just in 2006 I lived in 3 cities in 2 states, often I don't remember to call and keep track of the friends I've met along the way. So I'm also hoping to remember those little extra tidbits like holiday cards or birthdays. Oh and ofcourse the generic ones I make every year, I will quit smoking. I will spend more time with friends and family. LoL

New Years Eve Rant
I am not much for this blog thing. Ok here we go. This is now my third New Years Eve since my divorce and the third one I will spend alone. This doesn't mean I don't have friends, I do. Some of them even invited me to join them in tonight's festivities. This is not what I am looking for. I am looking for that someone special I can spend my time with. Not just my best friend, but also someone I want to spend the rest of her life with. They say that God doesn't give you any task to great for you to handle. I thing I got one. I have been trying to raise my 16 soon to be 17-year-old son. Anyone who has or has had children this age will understand, I am at my wits end. I know I will survive I know people who have. Though I don't have the courage to overcome my sense of vulnerability about opening the door to someone new, it doesn't mean that I don't know about love!
