Back in October I blogged about my goddaughter passing away from a long fight with cancer. This morning about 6am her brother, his wife, their 5 year old daughter and their 2 year old son, were killed in a house fire in Lebo Kansas. His lady was pregnant with their 3rd child. Michael, 25, was a great guy. He had been going to school to be a chef, was a wonderful father, a great husband and all around just one of the nicest guys you could ever want to know. My deepest sympathies go out, again, to his parents and the family. They have been through so much in the last year with the loss of Dannielle and now Michael. These kids used to call me dad. I always felt they were one of my own. I will never understand the "circle of life". Why someone so young with so much going for him would be taken so soon in his life. Microwave Lemon Dill Salmon
2 salmon fillets (4 to 6 oz each) 1 tbsp flour 3 tbsp water 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp butter or margarine (melted) 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill weed 1 clove garlic (minced) 4 lemon slices SHAKE flour into cooking bag; place in 8x8x2-inch microwave-safe baking dish. ADD salmon to bag. Sprinkle fish evenly with water, lemon juice, margarine, garlic, and dill weed. Place lemon slices on top of fish. CLOSE cooking bag and tie; cut six 1/2-inch slits in top. MICROWAVE on HIGH for 6 to 8 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork, turning dish halfway through cooking time. Let stand in bag for 1 to 2 minutes before serving. Makes 2 servings.

A 26-year old man decided to have a cup of coffee. He took a cup of water and put it in the microwave to heat it up (something that he had done numerous times before). I am not sure how long he set the timer for, but he wanted to bring the water to a boil. When the timer shut the oven off, he removed the cup from the oven. As he looked into the cup, he noted that the water was not boiling, but suddenly the water in the cup "blew up" into his face. 4 leg quarters 1 lg. onion 1/2 c. cooking oil Barbecue sauce Salt Pepper Remove skin and fat from chicken legs. Pour cooking oil into a microwave dish. Wet chicken in oil while placing them in dish. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste on top. Pour a thin coating of barbecue sauce over the chicken. Slice the onion and scatter over the whole dish. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and place in the microwave oven. We set the microwave on high and cook as follows: Cook 3 minutes and turn 180 degrees; cook 3 minutes and turn 90 degrees; cook 3 minutes and turn 180 degrees and cook 3 minutes. Remove from oven and turn meat upside down and pour on another thin coating of sauce. Place in oven again. Microsoft is jumping into the world of online event planning with Windows Live Events, scheduled to launch late Thursday. The free social event planning service lets you invite friends to an event and creates a Web page where people can share photos and stories with blog entries after the event. It uses the same infrastructure as Windows Live Spaces and lets you use your contact list there or in Hotmail or Messenger. Windows Live Event creates a Web page for each event where you can add photos, weather and other information. Microsoft wants to purchase Yahoo Microsoft and Yahoo are both struggling to compete with Google Microsoft has offered to buy the search engine company Yahoo for $44.6bn (£22.4bn) in cash and shares. The offer, contained in a letter to Yahoo's board, is 62% above Yahoo's closing share price on Thursday. Microsoft executives said Friday that they could have to compete with other potential acquirers to win Yahoo!, despite its generous $44.6 billion takeover bid. Microsoft (nasdaq: MSFT - news - people ) said on a Friday morning conference call that "any number of companies might have an interest" in also acquiring Yahoo! (nasdaq: YHOO - news - people ). Vista made its consumer debut in January 2007, and SP1 marks the first major upgrade to the operating system. Microsoft released details about Vista SP1 in August, and opened it to a moderately-sized audience for testing in the weeks thereafter. Microsoft promised up to 50 percent faster speeds when moving files around on PCs or home networks with SP1. Resuming a Vista computer from sleep mode will also be faster with the upgrade, Mike Nash from Microsoft's Windows product management group wrote in a blog post. SEATTLE - Microsoft Corp. said Friday it won't totally uproot Yahoo Inc. from its Sunnyvale, Calif. headquarters if it succeeds in its bid to buy the Web portal company. "In bringing the companies together, we would be committed to maintaining Yahoo (nasdaq: YHOO - news - people )'s significant presence in Silicon Valley," wrote Kevin Johnson, president of Microsoft (nasdaq: MSFT - news - people )'s platforms and services division, in an e-mail to employees. Johnson noted that Microsoft employs 1,800 people in nearby Mountain View. The e-mail was written in question-and-answer format to address recent issues raised by employees. But Johnson did not directly answer questions about staffing and layoffs. Internet advertisers can't figure out what the two companies will look like in six months, so search leader Google is set to profit from the confusion. "We find this to be a very advantageous situation for Google," Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Derek Brown said Thursday. "The longer this gets dragged out, the better for Google." He added: "The more complicated a deal gets, the more difficult it becomes to satisfy all parties, and the more complicated the integration gets, the more it favors Google." As Yahoo! Did you know that the United States just experienced one of the worst natural disasters in it's recorded history? Maybe not. Because the news coverage on this event has been short and in many cases, non-existant. This past weekend, the South experienced torrential downpours and heavy thunderstorms that dropped an unprecendented 13+ inches of rain in a 48 hour period, breaking the previous record from 1979 of 6.68 inches of rain in 48 hours. Midevil Love Letters recipe (?) 125g rice flour 35g plain flour 155g granulated sugar 1 1/2 cups coconut milk (from 1 coconut) 2 eggs 2 egg yolks Sift rice and plain flour into a mixing bowl. When heated, place the moulds open over a bowl of batter and pour a ladelful of batter onto the mould. Close the mould tightly and bake over charcoal fire for about half a minute on each side. When golden in colour, remove and immediately fold into a quarter. Press lightly with a tin cover to level the surface. SO THE BIG TALK ON FUBAR LATELY IS HOW THEY HAVE THESE MIDGETS THAT U CAN PUT OHER SITES SO PEOPLE CAN SEE WHAT LEVEL YOUR ON AND U CAN GET POINTS WHEN PEOPLE SEE IT AND BLAH BLAH BLAH.ONLY PROBLEM IS I HAVE NEVER SEEN THESE MIDGETS THEY SAY THEY ARE ON YOUR PAGE WELL I HAVE NEVER SEEN THEM ON MY PAGE,NOW I FULLY ADMIT TO BEING PC ILLITERATE BUT AM I REALLY THAT DUMB OR ARE SOME OF U HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM TOO??I GUESS THAT WOULD BE A GOOD MUM TO POST LOL ANYWAY I ALSO HEARD THE STASH WAS GONE AND NOW IT'S BACK I NEVER EVEN NOTICED MY STASH MISSING TO BE HONEST AND SOME PEOPLE HAVE LOST THEIR STASH IF THEY HAD MORE THEN 2000,THANK GOD I ONLY HAVE 42 LOL AND FINALLY I SEE THAT FUBAR HAS DONE AWAY WITH THE RATES OF OUR FRIENDS,NOW OF COURSE WE ALWAYS COULD RATE PICS ONCE A WEEK BUT THE PROFILES CAN ONLY BE RATED ONCE.WHAT I CAN'T UNDERSTAND IS HOW EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE TO RERATE EACH OTHER IT STILL SHOWS THAT WE FANNED EACH OTHER LOL

Do you think these will get more people to come to your page? If they aren't visiting now I don't think they will come. As for blog's you have to have something interesting to talk about to get people to come anyway. But I guess I will give it a try. I had a blast once and it really didn't increase volume to my page. I thought it was a waste of money.
