Thank god for computer geeks....when i got a phone call from my friend and told me that I sent her a virus...I called computer geeks and they came right over. They first scanned for viruses and nothing showed up. Then they scanned with spy sweeper and it found all the probs. I had a virus in the memory along with Kooface. (this is something i wrote for my new zine) V is For "VEGAN". my husband became Vegan about 8-9 months ago. at that time i became vegan-ISH. becos i saw how much better he felt & he started to lose weight. i was trying to lose weight & get in shape so i stopped eating meat as well. i still occasionally eat foods that contain dairy but i now use organic butter & almond milk. (sometimes soy milk.) i have lost 10 pounds and my husband jamie has lost about 30 pounds!!! just by changing our eating habits...& we feel a lot healthier since we have gone organic!! jamie had watched videos on the PETA website (i still can't bring myself to watch them) so that's what made him take this step--pretty much overnight. cos we were big carnivores & had steak dinners on a regular basis & pretty much lived off of fast food last year. & that's how we had gained so much weight in the first place. but after watching "fast food nation" i was totally horrified & disgusted by it & will never eat a hambuger

Today's topic may anger a few readers since my views on voting requirements are a bit....elitist in some ways. Voting rights were first given to white, land-owning males. Then expanded to males of any race (the 15th Amendment). Then to women of any race (the 20th Amendment). And lastly to any US citizen 18 years old or older (the 26th Amendment). While these are all nice, we have developed a voting population that, I believe, doesn't deserve to be allowed to vote. We now have a voting population of citizens who haven't the education nor experience to be allowed to vote. Education: I believe a voting citizen should be an informed one, a literate one. And believe it of not about 20% of the US adult population is not able to read. I feel that a voter should have to read at least at a 6th grade level in order to vote. The Taj Mahal is a monument erected by Shah Jahan (5th generation mogul) for his 3rd wife (the first 2 not being able to bear him children) after she deceased at 39 yrs of age. It took 20 thousand people (imported from Persia) 22 years to build it !!! All the decorations are in (semi)-precious stones, it is a*m*a*z*i*n*g, not by accident one of the 7 world wonders. I'll see if and when I can post pics of it (I'll delete some other ones). The monument is in white marble, hauled in from 400kms far away (building took place between 1631 and 1653). The white marble has the special feature that it is translucent, i.e. if you light a torch behind it, you see it glowing at the other side (I have a pic of that, amazing!). I cant believe how fast my daughter has bounced back from open heart surgery. Her surgeon is very pleased at her recovery and said she can go back to school in 2 weeks which is amazing. He said she looks great and everything is healing extremly well. Im so happy with the outcome of the surgery. I have a totally different daughter who has more energy than ever.

Hello everyone. I am sorry that I have not been around much. I have been very busy getting ready for my in-laws coming for a visit. They will be here for 2 weeks. They got here on Friday night and will be here until June 30th. So, for the next 2 weeks I will playing the role of tour guide in Amish land and of course a visit would not be complete without going to Hershey. This past weekend my best friend Nick came to see me for his vacation. I have not seen him in 5 years and it most certainly was good to see him again. I enjoyed his company. He also accomplished talking me into moving out of Louisiana, so in a year I will be moving to Iowa near him. Vision Of A Girl
I had a vision today of a child, my own, as it would be if her father was my current love. It was not strange because I had a similar sight, though in a dream, when I was with my ex. That little girl no longer exists and never shall, which pains me a little to think about, but in all honest it would probably be best. You see, for several years now I have already chosen the name of my daughter, because I am determined to have at least one girl. I'm not sure why I decided to chose it before ever having her, but it happened nonetheless. Why o why after I ran Windows 98 for 5 years did I decide to finally upgrade and I chose this big cluster f@#k they named Vista.So far Ive learned that using firefox (which is always been my web browser)is more of a pain in my @ss than before.As for possibly using IE 7,its to damn slow and I just don't like like it.I would of purchased Linnex ,but it is nowhere to be found for under $300.00.Anyone feel me,or maybe want to(pun intended).

Okay, so I admit it... as much of a computer god as I am... even I can screw up.... never EVER install Fedora Core 6 on a machine that already has Windows XP Pro, Windows XP 64bit, and Debian Linux. the stupid thing fouled up the GRUB boot loader, and forced me to rebuild the damned thing again.... Well this time, I went with Windows Vista Ultimate. Haven't had a problem since.... so I'll keep you posted...

If you are running Vista and IE7, the ActiveX image Uploader does not work. It will crash your browser. So do not install it. If you did, I can tell you how to disable it. Tools button. Internet Options Programs tab Manage add-ons click on image uploader control and then click disable. Then you will be set. Hope that works for you.

Ok for those who want to know a avid PC user/gamers input on vista and xp here we go. This is my opinion based off my experiances with both OSs on the same tower. My tower is setup like this for those who think my machine is to slow or weak. So I did a Mumm on Vista weather I should try to change (revert) back to XP. Athlon (AMD) X2 dual core 64 TK 55 1.80 ghz 1918 ram 32 bit operating system So I got alot of responses most in favor of XP which is turning out to be extremely difficult. It is running XP awful and I have to maually configure the Wireless which is very complicated for me so far.
