Virtual Vixen

She reaches beyond space and time,
And travels on the sounds of rhyme,
Surviving in the miles of wire,
She sizzles full of heat and fire.
Compelled by some electric surge,
She journeys when she gets the urge,
And when the wave does finally ebb,
She emerges in the tangled Web.
She hovers in computer chip,
Biding time 'til she can slip
Up the cord onto your screen,
She waits, impatient, to be seen.
And when you fire up the beast,
What she is becomes unleashed,
She's many things – but you must wait
While she ponders on your fate.
Vixen, vamp, sultry, sassy,
Woman wild or lady classy,
All these facets stored inside,
Waiting for a special guide.
And when it's time for her to go,
You'd best be certain she's done so,
For if you do not take great care,
She could escape into the air.
And just before you fall asleep,
Into your room she'll softly creep,
And put ideas in your head
As you lie safe upon your bed.
