I finally have most of the software upgraded,installed and working properly. I truly hate software migration!! My new msi k9 diamond lets me boot off an external drive! so i'm wondering if I should beta test windows vista off it? I'd need a free hd first.. I'm in the MOOD to upgrade my guitar and more importantly my tone choices, which any guitar player will tell you...the more choices you have with a guitar...the fewer you need to get the job done! I recently saved my lead singer's guitar from a certain trip to the junkyard! He had purchased an Indonesian made Squire Telecaster for $200 (the new sale price) a while back. He loves a Tele and although we have other guitars available to him that are lots better...he insists on playing his Tele. So I installed a new set of Seymore Duncan STK's in it and rewired the whole thing and installed all new electronics. It sounded so good when I got done that it made me decide to go ahead with plans I'd been thinking about to redo my own guitar. I created a new pic folder to pit my more risque pics in but wasn't able to upload any pics into it. Now I'm unable to upload new ones to even my default folder. I click the upload new pics thing and get partially through to the next page where it shows my folders to choose a pic from when the page locks up. Every time!! I sent an e-mail to the LC help but I haven't recieved a reply. Anyone know how to delete the new folder since it has nothing in it? Or what else is the problem! Yesterday I was on my way to see my daughter...I was driving along the highway and kept noticing oncoming vehicles pulled over to the side of the road. this went on for miles. Even Semi trucks ...all pulled off the side of the road. Then it dawned on me: I am in line with a funeral procession. You see here in Oklahome when oncoming traffic comes upon a funeral procession it is in the upmost repect for the departed to pull off to the side of the road to pay your respects as the departed is making his last trip to his final resting place. You turn your headlights on and let all in procession go by. This can be the greatest gift for the family of the departed to see the respect shown to thier lost loved one. I was on the phone with my friend LoneWolf from california and was amazed that he had never heard of it but he also agreed it was the most respectful thing to do. Quite a few people have been wondering how I've been since I've left. I am very well infact. I struggled a lot over the last year with my sexuality, as if it isn't confusing enough the pain from being raped in April just added to it all. I've been accepted to college. I can now return to being a student and I can hopefully make myself a bit more employable after I complete the process. It would be very nice to no longer need to worry so much about my future. I'll be travelling next weekend to attend a class in rope work. It will focus on power exchanges in rope work, and I will hopefully be able to improve my skills as a bondage rigger. We'll also be staying in a lifestyle friendly Bed and Breakfast. I have some friends who have apparently decided that they no longer wish to speak to me. It saddens me, but I have done all I can and have to accept those things that I cannot change. It does bother me, as I honestly cannot recall anything that I may have done to incur disfavor, but life just works out that way sometimes. Well last night I found out that my favorite uncle has bladder cancer. This was a big blow to me. My father has been gone now for 8 years this past Dec. 2nd and to lose my uncle is like losing my father all over again! This probably happens to more people than I am aware of, but it sure seems like I am the only one right now. One of my cars broke down, so I was talking to my wife about looking for a truck. The thing with the truck is that we were planning on getting one next year around the summer time. This was all good when we had 2 cars that ran. The one that broke down is a '93. So I went looking at trucks and found one that I liked. Talked to the sales owner to make sure that I would be approved for it. I have had a death in the family. Please keep my family in your prayers. My aunt (by marriage) lost her brother. I know that she is going to be alright, its my cousins who Im worried about. They were really close to their uncle and its just a shock to them. My 19 year old cousin was living with his uncle. He came home from work and found him. OK, I'll begin this existential load of clap trap with one statement: I AM VERY VERY DEPRESSED!!!!! I tried the overdose, and failed. Maybe I should explore the virtues of other possible methods??? Upside Down Apple Pie,,,mmmm Good
This pie is absolutely fantastic The flavor is out of control gooey, cinnamony and just overall out of this world. Coat a deep-dish pie plate with nonstick cooking spray and line it with parchment paper. Coat the paper with cooking spray also. Now, I used a deep-dish pie plate, the Emile Henry brand from Williams-Sonoma and it is a little deep for refrigerated dough (there is not a lot of hangover for sealing the two crusts together). I think a regular pie plate would be fine.In a small bowl combine 4 Tablespoons of melted butter, brown sugar and pecans. Mix well and spread evenly over the bottom of the pie plate, on top of the parchment. Place one of the crusts in the pie plate, pressing it firmly against the nut mixture and up the sides of the plate. Set aside.In a large bowl, combine granulated sugar, flour, cinnamon and the remaining 2 Tablespoons of melted butter. Mix well. Add the apples in and toss gently to coat. Woohoo, I'm going up the hill today (Blackhawk, Colorado) to do some gambling with my cousin for her birthday. It's been awhile since I have been gambling in a casino, I think my last time was when i turned 21 and my family took me to Vegas. That was a blast, hopfully this is a blast as well. Up There Where The Air Is Clear
SO… I am up north – VERY up north – not so up north as to be in Darwin, but more like in Far North Queensland – it’s not the sunny tropics here, but it is humid and it is rainy. That is not such a bad thing, for me at all. The flight was delayed, and then there was a headwind which slowed us down, and then we had a go-around due to bad weather and wind-sheer warnings, and it was all very exciting. Still the accommodation almost makes up for it. The apartment has aircon, dishwasher, all mod cons, and a LARGE plasma TV :) - as well as a smaller one in the bedroom (with built-in DVD player). I brought the first season of Torchwood up here to watch, but it doesn’t like the DVDs :( - I’m not sure what the issue is there, alidon, but the DVDs don’t seem to want to play in any DVD player (commercial or PC-based). Sighhhhhhhhh, there's just days when you can't stay in bed and this is one of them, even the cats were still asleep. Right now I'm just sitting quietly, reading profiles and looking at some pretty amazing pictures here and having some really good coffee. Tonight is dance class so will only do a couple of miles on the treadmill instead of my full workout. 7 UP passed away on March ??, 2012. Mindy fought a long battle and is now in a much better place with no more pain and suffering. (Originally posted on October 3, 2006)I got to thinking: Another hobby I'd like to do (other than my foreskin restoral) is urban exploration. That is basically where you go where you're not really supposed to be (abandoned buildings, sewers, etc) to look at things people may or may not want you to see.Then I remembered I've already done this twice:1) The cemetary where I got the dirt from has a closed gate. It's easy enough to sneak through though, since the bars are about 2-3' apart. It was interesting there, although most of the graves were just numbered graves as opposed to having markers with names.2) One of the buildings downtown has an abandoned floor the management is trying to lease out. I have been up on that floor and looked around. Not too dangerous, but still interesting. The thing I worry about, though, is getting caught.
