On This Day...
My dear friends, I know all too well the mixed emotional roller coaster of this day in history and will never forget. I was on the 74th floor of WTC 2 for a breakfast meeting with my clients at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter at 8:30 AM. Personal photographs I took in the aftermath are in my pictures on my Care2 network site along with some poems, verse and collection of shared materials in my blogs. I have come to the realization that I made it through this atrocity and ordeal for some greater purpose in life and in essence, was reborn to live simply, so that others may simply live. Everything happens for a reason... and even though I mourn the loss of relatives, loved ones, acquaintances, co-workers, comrades, friends and strangers alike - I am blessed to have memories of shared moments and connections to every and all that is, and appreciate each and every waking moment. My son is serving his third tour in Afghanistan and I keep a strong vigil for his and all others safe return

I can remember watching the towers fall. I can remember seeing the people fall before the television stations decided to stop showing it. Perhaps they decided to stop showing it once they they recognized that what they were seeing was people jumping to their deaths. This was an actual email sent to the men at work: I have tried to word this as “cleanly” as possible. Last night when the cleaning crew was taking care of the restrooms, they found a very nasty mess in the men’s restroom on the tenant side of the building. The handicap stall commode was covered in feces. This is the third time this has happened but this is by far the worst (I saw it). The cleaning crew left the mess for me to see and they will be cleaning it up tonight. There will be an extra charge on your cleaning bill for this. I do not want to assume that this was done intentionally, but let’s just say that it would be very difficult to do this by accident. Please let your male staff know that this is has been noted and is being addressed. It’s important that we do our part to keep our restrooms as clean as possible and your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Ok... I hate days like today. I hate having to delete 10-25 quasi-patriotic comments. ... "We will never forget..." blah blah blah... What Were U Doing On 9-11-01?
So its been 7 years already.....doesnt seem that long ago but i guess it is. I was in the bay area, California. It was early in the mornin in the west coast, i think it was like 6am or something like that. I had a problem sleeping at night back then, I remember I was just falling asleep around that time. Then my BF at that time called me and told me to turn the TV on. He was teling me whats going on, but I couldnt believe it at first. I really thought it was just an accident or something, just couldnt believe it was planned by terrorists. Now that I think back, that incident affected me more than I thought it did. A lot of things were happening to me in my life, and after the 9-11, it seemed like the whole world was falling apart, and I felt that something more horrable would happen to me. 9-11-2001 I Remember
You know I don't write much but today I decided to share some thoughts; I ermember that morning I woke up in Maui, turned the TV on and Foxnews was showing Tower 1 falling. I couldn't believe my eyes as the tower fell. I was a young boy watching those towers go up from my front yard in New Jersey and in an instant they fell, with them fell Americas innocence. We could not only be attacked in our house but we were powerless to stop it. 6 of my HS friends lost their lives that day. Today we sit here at our computers feeling safe and secure. Politics aside we live in a country that is as safe as can be from those that would hurt us. One last thought, Remember Flight 93, it crashed in a PA field because AMERICANS said that their lives were not going to be taken in vain. They stood up as one and kicked the shit out those terrorists. They stood as one and said we will not let you do this in our country. here's a little case of down home American Whoop ass. I blogged this instead of mumming it.. Toay is a day that in my mind will live in my mind.You see there is little girl who would have been 7 this year and just beginning to understand why we are at war on terrorism and though she did not live to see it I remember her on this day. I remember getting up with my kids. Feeding breakfast to my little ones and turning on Nickelodeon. I spent the day cleaning, taking care of my toddlers and infant. I was clueless. Thank you everyone for standing by me while my Daddy had surgery this week. I know in the weeks leading up to it I was a bit of a basket care with worry and anxiety. Hip replacement is tough. He was up and walking Monday afternoon, hours after His surgery. He was doing so well that the doctor let Him come home Wednesday afternoon! The physical terrorist, er, therapist will come this afternoon for the first time and help us do a house assessment to make sure Daddy can get around safely. She will also be doing His PT 3 times a week with Him here at home for the first 3 or 4 weeks. That is just awesome. I'll update again later. Again, thank you everyone for the moral support. 12th Wedding Anniversary

Sick
I'm not sure to post this or not, just wanted to let all my friends know that I talk to on a daily basis or see me around anyway...I was feeling a bit ill yesterday had a bit of a sore throat & stuffy nose, no biggie, figured it was just my allergies, well around 3pm I got up from a nap & felt as if a freakin freight train had run right into my body! Of course I went downhill from there, spiked a 104 almost 105 temp, had 2 asthma attacks from coughing so hard & so much & my throat felt like sandpaper lol...not to mention my body was just aching & I fell over twice cuz my legs were like jello lol! So anyway I went to the ER last night & of course wouldn't you know it I have the flu, broncitis AND a sinus infection...yea I cant get just one...gotta shake it up LOL! The Dr told me had I waited until today to go in I would have probably had full blown pneumonia. So they gave me some pretty strong breathing treatments of Prednesone(steroid), 2 steroid pills & 2 antibiotics...I'm feeling

Sternum And Other
Just recently i've discovered that my sternum is in fact broken or worse idk i need to see the doctor but i do know its broken and i'm having problems breathing at times so if i'm not in a good mood its probably not u or anything but just me not having a good day bc i can barely breathe. (added on) it's broken bc of my uncle.. about 5 yrs ago he was very drunk/ high, and decided i wasn't worth keeping aroudn so he beat the shit out of me (added on) my gf i was with at the time left me bc i didn't have a religion and bc i was going through the problems with my sternum and she stopped caring about me and left a week into my problems with my sternum, and a week later i got better.

After getting phone calls from the people who put you to sleep for surgery(I can't spell it) I was told death is a risk of my surgery. So, just in case I die................................................................... I am coming back as a ghost and haunt all your asses... Im Doing It
hmmmm how to put this... few weeks ago i thought ok i cant get a date so ill make some changes in me...lately ive been walking 10 miles a day plus mowing my yards that i do (which is about 21 22 yards) i have cut reg soda out and am know drinking diet pepsi and it taste so good when you work up a sweat...lol i have cut way back on my meals.. i have a slim fast meal on the go bar and one snack bar.. and my supper is a healthy choice dinner... and to top it all off im drinking loads and loads of water..ive got a 52 oz bubba keg and i keep it full with water and drink it all day....i used to be able to wear a ring on my right hand well guess what i cant wear it no more it just falls off..in doing this for just 4 days know ive lost a total of 20 lbs my goal is to get to around 150... here in the comming weeks im looking into getting me a mountain bike and once i do ill be riding that 10 to 15 miles a day.... just thought id share this with ya

A Somewhat Quick Update.........
Assorted musings ... Recently I got a used Roland Micro Cube amp. It's neat, tiny and has built effects....ie...chorus, flanger, and so on. I run the Korg Kaoscillator and the BSY600 * pedal through it. Weird bleepy goodness ! * The BSY600 stomp box has 11 selectable modes from Square to Saw to Pulse synth waveforms... plus FOUR more rotary controls for Effect level, Resonance, Decay/Rate, High-to-Low Frequency and a Direct knob for controlling dry-to-effects output. The Roland is awesome as it can run off AC or batteries..so I can sit in bed or on the futon and create some wacky noise/tunes. As for the Behringer BSY600, well that's a nice stomp box. I'm currently attempting to make a APC...atari punk console...a lil d.i.y. stompbox/noise maker. :) Today's catchphrase(s) is " lo-fi " , " noise" and " chip tunes". -------------- On the work front...doing a job for a office in Newark NJ. Marriage
before anyone thinks that I have a troublesome marriage...no, I don't. I have a best caring and loving husband in the world. And yet somehow every time I see people say that they are getting married, I feel severe sadness for them. Its a cage that takes away your freedoms, confines you to a certain standard, makes you a slave in your own dominion. Having A Baby Boy!!
I went yesterday to the doctors to get my ultrasound done. My man and I are having a baby boy!!!! We are very excited and happy! He so far weighs five pounds and his heartbeat is 137 which is good. Baby Connor is healthy and strong. I'm 34 weeks and I'm due October 21st.

Am I Being Selfish?
Ok, so Im a single mom, never been married. My daughter's father gave up all rights to her at birth. I have been very blessed to have had my family to help me out with her. When she was 15months, she was diagnosed with a Wilm's Tumor, a form of kidney cancer. She will be 8 yrs remission this Halloween. But, for many years she recieved chemo and radiation. My Mum
Never in a million years would you think I would be the legal guardian of anyone. Never in a million years would you think I would be the legal guardian of someone older then me. My mother went for surgery a few weeks ago, and long story short because of many different excuses they had to put it off for a week. When they finally did put the stints in (she has some blood clots in veins in her brain), every thing went fine. This was the third time she had it done. After the procedure, she started to feel dizzy and threw up. She had a very severe stroke.There was a lot of bleeding in her brain. As of Friday night, they didn't know if she was going to live. I've been back and forth to DC all weekend. As of Sunday night, they think she will live. They aren't sure, but that is what they think.
