With the impending threat of Hurricane Ike, the
Governor of Louisiana is considering a mandatory evacuation of New Orleans and the surrounding areas. In response to this possibility the Governor of Texas has ordered the demolition of all bridges between the two states. Texas figured it would be cheaper to rebuild the
bridges.
