Weight Issues
I weighed myself last night and this morning, and it turns out that I'm now down to 165 and a half. I must have lost maybe 10 pounds or more I don't know. But somehow I made it to where I can handle everything now. I wonder if I can fit into some jeans that I have never been able to fit before in years? At 8:30 this morning my friend Denis called me from work to tell me our friend Rich had passed away on saturday at Beaver Medical Center. Rich had just gone in the hospital on the saturday before for severe pain and breathing problems. He had Lung Cancer and didn't know and had ignored the signs too long and as we work in a Retirement Community the nurses had mentioned a couple times to him that he looked Ill and had lost a lot of Weight in the past months.He scheduled some tests and went to the hoping for a simple answer but it was not to be. Well I just did a massive friends cut. Out of 43 people I believe I have 10 left. I only cut due to people who don't talk to me, so really it was nothing personal. My Dead Life
Well I have not been on this site for a very long time. I think it was still Lost Cherry when I checked things out last. Lets see if I can do a rundown of major events. 1) Dallas and I moved into our own house. We rent so we don't own it, but its a huge house. We love it. 2) Soon after moving we got married. We got married Oct. 31st 2007. We are very very happy. I love him so much it still bugs me to be away from him while I'm at work all day. My Life
Once upon a time the U.S. Army was at war with some other country and the U.S. won. That's not how the story goes. My veteran is Santiago Loetz and he's my cousin. When a helicopter goes down he's there to fix it. Because the Army isn't a fairy tale land things go wrong. And that's why the army needs mechanics. Here are some of the things helicopter mechanics do. Santiago's job is to repair apache helicopters. He works with other mechanics and he's been with them in Afghanistan, and Germany, and now he's stationed in Oklahoma with them. He works almost all day and sometimes all night too. I just wanted to appologize for not getting to say hello to everyone as often as usual. We are trying to keep up with life! lol Besides the usual....kids sick...getting ready for the hoildays.... I have been helping hubby install the tile at our local mall at night, and passing out all day. (We have about 10,000 of the 24,000 sq ft done). Not to mention hubby was in a hit and run yesterday. He is fine, and he ended up chasing down the other guy. Fortunately we live in a small town, and it was easy to find him. Of course, his little toyota extended cab had about a 2ft indentation of our Ford F150 on the passenger extended part. Not to mention 3 of his windows were blown out, and the huge wave in the roof of his truck....oh yeah, it was also driving at a weird angle. I felt kind of bad, the guy that was driving was at least 80yrs old, and seemed like he didn't really know what was going on. Hopefully he won't be allowed to drive any more, for the safety of others. Anyway

I want to let all my friends and family know that I have not been hiding. I miss being on here. The reason that I have not been on here is because I found out on Wednesday that my youngest son has a hernia and he has been hurting alot in his stomach and I just cannot seem to keep him off my lap. The dr that he was seeing don't want to do anything about it so I have found him a new dr that is going to see him on 11-2. Cannot wait to go see the dr I am hoping the new dr will do something about it instead of making my child suffer like the peditrician is doing that just saw him on Wed. So everyone don't get upset or mad if you dont see me on for a few days or im not answering comments back right away I will get to it as soon as i can.

There are people out there who don't understand how I could WANT to be alone. The answer to that comes in one simple word...PEACE. I woke up in a bed on the beach in a white nightgown I'm doing better today I guess after my talk about the gyno visit to my friend sheryl put it into perspective because this poor girl went thru Cancer twice in her life first time she was 30 years old I was pregnant with Arielle at the time and the way she found out was awful she miscarried and after the miscarriage she went to the doctor and yes she was pregnant what terminated that baby was a tumor the size of a basketball. she had to go thru a total histerectomy and limpnodes with not only left her sterile but diabled for the rest of her life the chemo left her weak and unable to stand or sit for long periods of time her second bout was this past year they found a growth on her heart after 6 months of chemo again this time she will have numbness in her legs for 2 years at least she is only 46 and when I met her 24 years ago she was this beautiful raven haired doe eyed model today she is but a memory of this beauty. Family
My aunt Karen and her husband John are in town right now so we went and saw them at my grandparents. I haven't seen either of them in a while. Appearantly she was in town with my uncle Mark but I must have been off at school then cause I don't remember. We used to see Karen and her family most of my moms family besides our grandparents who live an hour away from us now since we moved. My mom has 2 brothers that live in Cali and Karen lives in New Mexico. They're the first ones of the extended family to meet my son Matthew that's 2 months old. Well last nigth me and David went to see "The Marine" it was pretty good. Life!!
Alot of things have changed over the past few months. Brian is now traveliong out of state for his job, my kids are now 3, 2 and 10mos. They are growing so fast. It is harder everyday to attend to my older 2 fighting all the time and my youngest crawling and climbing steps. She is still cutting her teeth, so that leaves her cranky. She also has asthma, acid reflux, and colic. That is all for now, but everything can change at the turn of a head. Things have gotten a lot better since I last blogged. My daughter will be 2 next thursday, the 16th, my son will be 7mo on the 20th. We are doing much better and have not had issues, but then again anything can change quickly. LOL! Help The Homeless
I want to set up a farm to help children & teenagers at risk of homelessness or that are already homeless. I have a dream of opening a farm to help train, look after and care for homeless children. I plan to give these kids a huge chance to make something of themselves and to give them motivation to have a go at life. There is a population on the Gold Coast and Brisbane alone of over 1,500 children homeless and another 2,500 or more at risk. We have a responsibility to the younger generations to help them as we are now the next generation and the onus is on us to help them have a go at a life away from severe crime, violence, abuse and hard drug. Many of our generation have suffered the severe life trauma of being homeless or at risk at some point of time in life, where if there were somewhere or someone there our lives may not have ended up as they are or for many and these deep embedded scars may not be still there and presenting themselves today. An Apology...
I want to thank all of you who have helped me get to my current level here at CherryTap. I really do appreciate it. I want to apologize for my failure to respond to/leave comments as often as I'd like. It's just that thinkgs are a little hectic for me right now... working seven days a week for the last two months, and going to school on top of that I don't have as much time to spend talking to all the great people I have met here. The Wait Has Ended
I have SEVERE TMJ disorder. The issue that causes my TMJ disorder is a combination of what was thought to be nothing after a minor car accident when I was 15, a neck injury when I was 22 and some herditary factors. I was basically told by my doctor that, without full treatment for this problem, I can expect to have severe arthritis before the age of 40. The problem is, insurance will not cover care of TMJ disorder until it actually turns into arthritis or until the jaw actually locks up and is unable to be opened (which has happened a couple times, but was able to be opened without surgery luckily). I am in constant discomfort and frequent pain due to this issue. There are no triggers that cause the pain, it just comes and goes. Right now, I am in excrutiating pain. I've already taken the anti-inflammatories, which are not working and am about to move on the the narcotic painkillers, which I avoid like the plague. Hi everyone!!!! Tonight was so awesome. I took my kids to a haunted house with family. We stood in line for an hour just to see a haunted house. At first of the show was so laim. It had come to my attention that the vertical beams supporting the roof were not resting on the flooring below them.Some in fact were several inches away, just swinging in the air.For the life of me I couldn't figure out what was wrong then like a bolt of lightening it hit me. The floor below was sinking and had been for several years.This called for great calculation and some good old fashioned brute strength.
