Crockpot Canadian Bacon Soup 1 16-oz pkg dried lentils, sorted and rinsed 2 (14 1/2 ozs. each) cans ready-to-serve vegetable broth 1 6-oz pkg sliced Canadian-style bacon, coarsely chopped 2 medium carrots, cut into 1/2-inch pieces 1 medium potato, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch pieces 1 medium onion, chopped 1 medium stalk celery, cut into 1/2-inch pieces 4 cups water 1 tsp dried thyme leaves 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper Mix all ingredients in 3 1/2- to 6-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on Low heat setting for 8-9 hours or High for 3-5 hours or until lentils are tender. Stir well before serving. Serves 8. OK THIS IS A NO BRAINER IF YOU LIKE CARROTS. Ok i am a Huge roleplay fan just cause i grew up to it. (i know i'm a nerd) but anyways just thought i'd through out some Roleplay games that i've Played and liked. i have to say them first cause they're the ones that got me into roleplay games and thats Square soft (at the time they were called that now they're square enix). Here are some games Square has Created. Final fantasy 3 i give props to that game cause thats the game that got me into them. Final fantasy 7(best game i have to say they made and thats just me), Final Fantasy 9 and 10 are some great games as well so check them out, Also Dragon quests is a fun game as well. Other roleplay games that are awesome are Magna Carta (i liked it), Castlevania is another grat group of roleplay games but fair warning...the first games of theirs can be a real pain in the ass to play. but try them. Today sucks, I just found out last night that a very old friend of mines daughters were in a parasailing accident in Florida on Saturday. His oldest daughter had some injuries and his youngest daughter Amber who was 15 years old died from her injuries. My House.
This is my house, in Asfordby. It has been owened by 5 people. There was this famouse captin, that went to war. Well today we went to St.V's in Toledo and they told us he has 95% blockage so he is going to have to have triple by heart surgery this week just not sure yet what day so I will keep you all informed on whats going on with that. Sometimes I wonder why a person with a degree in horticulture sells cars? Then I get a pay check and remember why. I loved horticulture but the $ was not the same. Yippee Hurray with this last storm, it left 10" of snow. At 8,000 ft of course but still, if it starts this early then for damn surely it is going to be one helll of a winter in utah :) This makes me very exited. Ok this is my little Gothic side. I love Vampire, Werewolves, and monster movies. so here are some wicked Movies i find great. For the record, avoid Greyhound at all costs...they're not safe, and had the driver of the bus I was on in the middle of the Arizona desert not had 28 years of accident free service with the company, I think our loaded down bus would've ended up on it's side. We left Flagstaff at midnight, headed for Las Vegas and a few points in between. Then, at 2 am, the THUMP THUMP THUMP that had been keeping me awake for 2 hours finally gave way and the bus had not one, but TWO blowouts. The Noises In My Head!
Well... It's official. I am now 38 years old. Whoopie... As I write this entry it is just after 2pm. So far my day has been good. I went to see my daughter cheer at the pop warner football game. Awww life.. man when its up its up when its down its down. I realized it'd been a while since I posted or even did a survey. I have a LOT going on at the moment most of it being mental stress. So let me bust it down: 1. Living situation-my lease is up 12-31 but because my credit is so bad i need to start looking NOW so i can save 2. Found a place but I basically have to come up with $2500 in the month of december not to mention its x-mas 3. My parents both have lots of medical issues. My mom has heart disease, my dad has more issues then I can talk about. but my mom can have a stroke at anytime and that scares me. Shes been under a lot of stress 4. My sister is having a baby and getting married. Her wedding is only 9 weeks away and its nuts. 5. My job sux 6. I found out that the health insurance that my boss was suppose to put into force on 9/1 won't take effect until 11/15. AND my asthma will not be covered. A few people who know me have heard the story about my screen name and why I have it. I did not pick the nick out, it was given to me. A girl I knew in High School that was nice to me first called me Kermit. I looked like a cute frog so she said. Reflecting On My Life.
Most days I go through with this numbness. Its like that calm errieness before a storm. Once in a while, my thoughts that I try so hard to keep on other things, the T.V., the computer, slip through to places I avoid. Two or three months ago, I ended up in the emergency room at the local hospital. I'd been suffering for a while with shortness of breath, tiredness and a tight, painful feeling in my chest and it had got to a point where Kris insisted that I go to the local clinic to get checked out. I figured that I'd go this time (she'd been on about it for a while) if only to keep her happy, so off we drive to the "walk-in centre". After some discussion they hook me up with a dozen electronic pads and do a trace of my ECG. The nurse disappears for quite a while then comes back to say they want to check it again. Too many times I think we over look things that are right there in front of us. We seek things that we never really want and for what purpose? Is it because we know that we can't have them or just to complicate our lives more than they already seem to be. This can be said for many aspects of our lives from materialistic things that we think we have to have to the person that becomes the object of our desire. Well I havent posted many blogs on here at all so i figured i might as well do so now. Lately it seems like everything i do is wrong, no matter what it is. In a small pan melt some butter add onions Italian Seasoning, some rosemary leaves, then add about a tablespoon of tomato paste and some beef broth and bring to a low boil. I like to use Roast Beef and some Ham. Put the meat in the sause you just made and let it warm thru. While that is going on toast your hoagie bun, when you get it to the darkness of your taste add some garlic, and shreadded Parmesan, Romano, and Asiago cheese let it start to melt. Today i went and seen david. I know i wont see him for awhile. i will miss him when he goes to iraq. How Things Change
Sorry, this is not a sex story. More of a rant. I have come to the conclusion that with all of the technology provided to us we have become less personal. Sometimes it seems that the normal courtesy of even saying bye is lost in the world of instant messaging and email. If you were on the phone or talking to someone in person, would you just walk off and leave? Would you not say bye? If someone walks up to you would you just ignore them like you aren’t there? How did we become so impersonal? No wonder our kids today don’t have any verbal communication skills or an idea how to act in a group of people. They are sitting behind a computer or a phone text messaging. Personally I miss the days of a proper conversation. It is sad to see such a wonderful trait lost in this technology world.

Ok so my little girls dad has done it again. Telling me he wants me back and this time i told him he had to prove to me that he meant it, he was playing for keeps and that he wouldn't hurt me again. Just wanted to say sorry for not doing my usual postings, yeah I'm a slacker. I spent the morning in the ER only to find out I didn't have a stroke afterall, just have Bell's Palsy. Yippie. Happy Monday to me! They couldn't tell me how it happened either - they "think" it's caused by the same virus that causes chicken pox and it attacks the cranial nerve. The dr. said that in her 12 years of practicing there was only 1 case that didn't have a full recovery. I'm guessing that's suppose to be the upside to all of this. Yes, I guess you could say I'm feeling a little sorry for myself. I'm a mommy, I'm not use to being sick.
