Things I Am Thankful For
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I have decided to write about the things I am thankful for today. I am thankful for my life...thankful that my mom decided to give life to me. I am thankful for my family and my friends. They are what keeps me going when I simply feel as though I can't go on any longer. They bring joy and happiness into my life and I pray that at times, I do the same. I am thankful to have a home to live in and someone to share it with. Sadly there are FAR too many people that won't have a roof over their head tonight. I am thankful to have a wonderful meal on my table to eat with my family and friends. I know that those same people that don't have a home are also some of the same people that won't have a meal to eat either. I also know that there are those that do have a home but not enough to eat, so I am thankful for the food that graces my table. I am thankful to be having a beautiful baby in a few months. Yeah what a fool I am. I have had 2 separate knee ligament injuries in teh last 18 months, casuing me to do fook all exercise outside the bedroom. So this week I finally gets me all clear and think a nice bit of trail riding with a mate is a fantastic idea. Okay, so now it's getting kind of ridiculous. Here's the situation. My place of employment recently got a new director of human resources. He is a middle aged black guy with oily, curley hair. Since his appointment to the position, the quality of employees being hired has drastically declined. Actually, a majority of the newhires, and I am talking a vast majority, have been black as well. This has not gone unnoticed by those of us who have been there for a while. Especially since these new black guys are averaging about two weeks of work before they quit or get fired. My Dog
My Dachshund ran away this morning. He was last seen by a neighbor at 10:00. I have driven all over the place, and been to the pound twice. I am at my wits end. My first dachshund ran away and got killed by a car, and I am the one that found her. I am so terrified that history is gonna repeat itself. Sorry I Have Not Been Online Much
To all my friends, family and fans: I am sorry I have not been online here much I have been taking care of my baby who has been sick since November 24, 2006. I had to rush her to the Emergency Room on Saturday evening because she was gasping for air and threw up. The hospital told me she has a very serious stomach virus and they did not know for sure if it was the rotovirus. We thought that she was getting better by Wednesday evening, but Thursday morning she started throwing up again. She has not been eating and barely been drinking liquids. As of Friday, December 1, 2006, she has been drinking alot of liquids, but still refuses to eat anything. She has been sleeping alot today. Thank you for all the love and support everyone has left for me and my family. I appreciate everyone on here. Much love to everyone! I hope to be online more.

Bored N Bit Confused

39 Weeks Pregnant....
Well I am 39 weeks pregnant tomorrow. Just had my check up and I am dilated @ 1 1/2cm! GRRR This baby has dropped so much! It hurts for me to walk around let alone get on the floor with the other kids. I feel hopeless right now. Just waiting on this baby to start something so I can go into hard labor. Having these 1st stages of labor is like feeling you are having cramps that go away after 5 min. This pregnancy has been a roller coaster ride of emotions. The beginning was great with minimal drama. Then 2nd trimester is when I had the most drama of them all. From thinking you lost your home, to possibly losing your child to early labor that shouldn't be happening, then the blow of it all thinking your lost your other half b/c of stupidity acts. Everything a woman could go through in a life time I experience in 1 month. So yes I feel like this pregnancy as been rough. Then add the drama again at the end of the pregnancy. Mary and her husband Jim had a dog named 'Lucky.' Lucky was a real character. Recently a cousin of mine was arrested in the army for his gun going off and hit a fellow soilder. Yesterday I found out that was just a cover story for something far worst. Well, I took my last final this afternoon. Genetics class is finally over. I feel pretty confident on how I did. What I recieve on the final, is my grade on the class, so I'm hoping for a C. Dvd Cases
This morning... besides listening to BLINK audio CDS, writing an occasional blog on CT, etc. I have also been taking my DVDs out of the cases and putting them into CD sleeves. Then taking the cover sleeves out of the case, I would fold it up like an envelope and insert the sleeved DVD in its cover sleeve. I have then put them into a plastic shoebox. It may not be the BEST solution to space issues; however, it is reducing dramatically the need for sooooo much shelf space for my DVDs. QUESTION -- What do I do with the plastic DVD cases? I hate to throw them away. You would think that SOMEONE would need them to recycle in some form or fashion. Do you have any idea of who I can give these to in order that they might be recycled???? Just curious....

after everything that has happened to me I will finally enlist into the military as of this saturday I will be formally inducted into the Navy's DEP Program (delayed entry Program) and will remain in the program for a little while I should find out my job and ship date hopefully either this sat or sometime next week so..... The Ultimate In Recycling
It may blow your mind to find out the answer, but first let me dispell a few myths about some "enviro friendly" cars...ie hybrids. Do to the types of batteries used, there's not way of being able to recycle what's left of those batteries when they do die. What happens to what's left? Landfills and the types of acids and metals used get into the ground and are far more harmful than that of normal car batteries. Plus the level of energy, amount of materials needed to create them along with the harmfull biproducts are more destructive than normal batteries and produced in greater quantities than a normal car battery. So as all the Ford SUV Hybrid and Toyota Prius lovers out there are attempting to help the environment by reducing the amount of fuel spent, they may be slowing the burning of the candle for their part, but lighting the wick on the other end with the increased production of bio/ecohazards.
