Glad To Be A Musician... Open Your Minds!
As you might know I'm a metalhead and a musician as well. Now you may think I only get inspired by metal songs creating my own ones... Not true. As a musician I think you need to expand your musical taste and look further. I am so glad my dad has a shitload of music, not only on vinyl or CD, but on his laptop as well. When I'm there and my dad is listening to the tunes he just downloaded... damn... I go like "I haven't heard this tune in ages" and if it touches me (I get shivers by some songs) I'm thinking "Hey I can use this instrument" or "Hey I can use that part of this song and "ruin" it into a metal tune..." I mean why not getting inspired by other genres and do something with it? It opens a world. At least to me. So fellow musicians... open your minds! I stashed a few oldies which make me shiver because they are really SONGS! Songs made with emotion. Not the crap people make with a computer and a keyboard sounding like BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM EEP EEP EEP EEP BOOM BOOM BOOM.

Just let you all know that I am happy to be home safe and sound which I had a blast on New Year's Party at my friend's house which we didnt go out to watch the fireworks cuz it's raining on that night so we decide to stay at home and watch it on tv and damn it was fun to have a friend around you to have a good time which means it's always safer to stay home and not to worry about driving while you drinkin and it is good idea. Glad That's Over
Well, yesterday was ... eventful ... and not in a good way. Nothing tragic, thankfully, just a couple of major annoyances. First, the bowler (hat) that I ordered last week and had been eagerly awaiting was delivered and it ended up being too big (see the latest pic in my default folder). Turns out that my head is between 1x and 2x (that's not a head it's a planetoid) and I erred on the wrong side. I sent it back for an exchange today and should have the new one in about a month (*drums fingers anxiously*). Then, I reached into my backpack to get my digital camera and it wasn't there. I figured that it may have fallen out in my car the night before and went to look only to find it under the car, lined up with the driver's side tire and looking very dirty (not a good sign). This week has been crazy.. As you know my Dad had surgery on Monday.. Everything went ok, but once the doctor got in there my dads knee cap had shifted so they had to move it back. He is doing ok just in alot of pain. I have been really busy this week doing this and that. I am glad to be back and to the ones who left me comments while I was gone.... Thank you... Oh yeah another update on my cousin he is now out of the hospital and doing ok. He had a short term memory loss but is doing better now. I'm just thankful that he is still alive...

I do not get to Cherry as often as I like, but the past month has been really difficult. you see my heart is not as strong as it once was and it gave me a little grief this past month. I past out on the kitchen floor one night and gave my sweetie a pretty good scare. However, I felt fine the next morning and went to work. Only for a few hours and then I began to feel bad. Glad To Be Home!
Okay, well, last you heard from me things were getting interesting. I will keep this short but fill in or answer any questions... I just got home, today from the hospital. My pacer crapped out almost a week ago and my 2nd device saved my life by taking over. Just not as well. So I had major surgery that they don't even call an operation on Monday. They have me down to one device/combo now and my wiring is very differant and safer. I just wish the trip to the or had gone better and my heart had stayed at full capacity the whole time. This, my friends is called a 'slip' and that means I will be easily tired and weak for a long while. Christmas went well - it could've been better - but I can't complain. Mom and I had planned on at least 8 people coming over for dinner so we we went all out, fixing all kinds of food, baked stuff, and desserts. The plan was to have dinner at 2, but plans change. I called my oldest son to find out if him and his girlfriend were coming over - they were at her parents' house and wouldn't be here until 3. My sister and her husband and my nephew couldn't make it because they were sick, and my brother, his wife and step-daughter didn't make it because her mom was sick. So it ended up being just me, mom and Jimmy for dinner. We decided that next year we're not cooking, that we'll go to one of the local establishments for dinner. Honestly, we haven't really put a lot into Christmas since dad died - he died five years ago on December 3rd. Mom's birthday of all things. All of us ladies like to look younger and more beautiful , Yes? Well here is a little something that I cooked up , mixing a time old chant with some lovely oils. During the Dark of the Moon up to the Full moon, basically anytime during the waxing phase is good. And can be done more than once. In your bath you will put roughly nine drops of Dragon's Blood Oil and nine drops of Jasmine oil. I use Egyptian Jasmine, but it can be any type of jasmine oil. Light a white candle after it is anointed. ( rub veggie oil or olive oil in one direction from base to wick to cleanse all negative vibrations from the candle. The Glasgow Comedy Festival 2010
Yes, it has begun and I love the festival in my wee home town. Comedy is very much a Glaswegian thing; we just seem to be a funny bunch of folk in Glasgow, which isn't to say people from Dumfries, Hawick or Prestonpans aren't inherently funny, but well...are they? We in Glasgow are the kind of people who can turn a queue at a bus stop into a comedy gig, and that my friend is something I have never seen in London or elsewhere! Heat broiler, with rack set 4 inches from heat. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place pork on baking sheet; season with salt and pepper. Place half the melted butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion, carrot, celery and parsnip. Cook 10 minutes, stirring often. Add sage. Add mixture to the sweet potatoes, mixing well. 3. Preheat oven to 450°F. 4. Spoon the stuffing into turkey. Insert a meat thermometer through the body cavity into the thickest part of the stuffing. I feel I've spent my life looking for a woman that will be able to surprise me day after day. Most women are fairly predictable. Love Craft: Glittered Valentine Candle Purchase non-flamable water soluble glue. Cut out a rectangle to fit around your candle and overlap 1/2". Then, draw and cut out your design stencil... ...Or purchase foam stamps with your favorite designs. Get one or two glitter colors and pour some onto a flat surface. Select dripless pillar candles for larger designs. Use various heights and sizes to create a romantic candle garden. Wrap your stencil around the candle and secure with tape. Then, brush/spray glue on the cutouts. When the glue gets tacky press the gluey cutout areas onto the glitter. Spray glue and glitter several times to create embossed designs. Extra: Write "I Love You" or "Be Mine" with a small round brush and glue. Then, sprinkle glitter onto the glue to create glittered letters. Or, purchase glue glitter pens.

I for one welcome Global Warming. My house outside of Detroit will look great with palm trees lining the drive way. I miss the snow maybe one day out of the year other than that I love the warm weather. Heck, neighbor was out with his lawnmower 3 weeks ago mowing the lawn when normally at this time we are shoveling snow. OK. The evidence is compelling - and the evidence proving that Global warming is not 'man-made'. we don't even contribute. I am a 'green' person. This makes up a tiny percentage of the atmopshere (less than 1%) 4) other sources of Carbon dioxide emmission include - Volcanoes, Plants, animals, the oceans...all of these vastly outweigh the amount that mankind contribute. Well, it looks like Globalization is here to stay. I can admit I was wrong. It seems that the same argument I have used to reason that Globalization will fail is the proof that is it the long term trend for the world. It began back in 1890, and maybe further back when Polk decided he wanted Mexican land. The Spanish American War was much the same way. One might see WWI as an adjustment for it, and WWII (among many other things kicking the crap out of two countries who did not want to go along -- can't really diminish the fact that both Japan and Germany were ruled by murderous regimes). World War I and World War II did slow it down, but the greatest speed-bump in the process was the Great Depression and employment/economic policies that came out of it. FDR's New Deal, did slow don the process and gave it a certain humanity that lasted here from 1944 to 1974. I can't say we really treated the masses outside our borders any better, but well we never have had much respect for non Anglo

Global warming is bullshit pseudoscience. Show me anything that proves otherwise. Watch this documentary. This shows real facts, based on real science....none of which shows any truth to this so called "global warming." In the end, there is absolutely no proof, nor reason to believe, that CO2 causes any changes in temperature. In fact, there is much more scientific proof that it's exactly the opposite, that rises in temperature are causing a very slight increase in the CO2 level. CO2 is only .054% of our atmosphere and is emitted by all living things, not to mention that volcanos and the ocean release more CO2 than all living things on this planet combined. There is much more evidence that sun spots and solar winds have far more impact on the temperature of the planet. Don't believe every bullshit theory that gains popularity. Think for yourself. I have just finished the sixth chapter of Wealth, Women, and War: A Look at Capitalism and Globalization. It is at 10,923 words so far. I am beat. But damn, I am excited. It is coming together so very well. As I write it, I am re verifying my data, and everything is checking out. Not only that, but I am finding additional data, that is supporting essential points in the thesis. That is fantastic. I am bias (admittedly), but this is a compelling, challenging, enlightened piece of work. It is a joy to be getting it done.

Well today was the second unpaid day on my job. I almost have the office put together. It is just so BORING. I sit in my small windowless office all day with only decorating to do. Not my strong suit by the way. I have found out that work helps me to smoke less as well as eat less. Maybe I can drop some of this extra poundage that I found in the last 2 weeks. I hope so I have to go upstairs for most things like to make copies, get what I print, as well as go the bathroom. Sucks but I guess the excersise is good for me. Today started out pretty good... My son graduated from grades 6 today and I look at him and I think to myself I did a great job. I have raised him on my own for a long time and i paid for everything by myself and today i see what kind of kid he is and what kind of job I have done.. Hes good in sports a bit of a smart ass (surprise surprise) and a popular kid. SO all those 2cnd jobs and holding out on getting things i needed paid off.. I worked hard and still do to provide for my son. To give him every opportunity all the other kids in a normal family environment have. I'm patting myself on the back today. I am very humbled right now.I could have lost my father today.He wrecked his motorcycle on some train tracks today and wrecked at 40 miles per hour.He didnt have a helmet on and he usually wears one.He hit head first and slid on the pavement.People stopped who saw it and thought he was dead he hit so hard.He has a tiny bump on his head and a scratch on his stomach but walked away pretty much unhurt.He was on his way to our church.He is the pastor.He showed up his clothes werent even dirty.The only thing I noticed was his shoe got scraped up real bad.His bike even barely got a scratch on it.He still was able to preach his sermon and have a smile on his face.I give all the glory to GOD for being merciful to spare my father his life or serious injury.I had a bad feeling about my father riding a motorcyle.I've lost alot of friends on them.I thank God for knowing that my dad has work here to do and that we need him and not taking him.My parents are the greatest parents in the world and my f
