It’s the little things that get you through this thing called life. Sometimes its also the simple things. In this case it’s both. This moment was from an average Saturday night at PM’s. We had spent the vast majority of the evening kicking back whiskey and trading recent stories. Cough, Cough. As usual, fourth meal comes around and we want ours. Gettingthrough
Working with inmates can be hard on you. A lot of the inmates can't read or write. Most of the inmates will try to con you, so you have to be on your toes all of the time. This doesn't mean you have to be distant and not talk to them. Recently I had the third ex-inmate come up to me and thank me for listening and talking to them. They said they never want to go back to jail. They said it is rough working but better then being on the inside. I guess I do preach to them on the inside. I try to reach down into them and pull that part of them that is righteous out. I do listen to their personal problems and try to help. The day before yesterday, it was the inmate that said he would soon be getting out. His girlfriend is leaving him for her ex-friend. The inmate wanted something to tell her to make her stay with him. Getting Flashed At
Was on my way to school with my six year old this morning and this dirty old man yells out the window hey look at this! I looked round to see this man with no clothes on and all i said to him was fuck off iam going to punch your lights out ! When I came out of school he did it again not only at me but another mum with young children. I don't get it, I know all my venting is about guys. But I found out yesterday that someone I have been chit chatting with all of a sudden he is talking to my best friend. I know he thinks she's cute cause he told me that she is and I know she is also. So I will be telling him off and not being nice to him. I am in a bad mood so alot of people will be getting told off soon too. Is there really a point to get to know someone from online because I am learning that there is no point in it. I don't meet people at the bar but I am meeting the wrong people on here and I am about to just not try any more. If you get told off I don't want you to be suprised.

Getting Tired Of Stuff
Its been awhile since I've posted in here and well got some downer stuff mostly lol As for the diet and gym hubby and I were doing so good on lets just say that has been thrown in the trash. We are just so damn tired from work and other crap and got lazy we just dont want to do it anymore. And as for the diet.. pffttt its hard as hell.. but who knows might stumble upon it again. I'm starting to get burned out on my job.. getting tired of it. Mostly its the teenagers I work with calling in a lot, being late or even just quiting. It puts more work on me and it exhausts me.. Its like a double edged sword in a way since I work commision just means more sales.. but at the same time wipes me the hell out. I've been there 2 years and working retail really drains ya. I'm not a people person really to those that I dont know and the fact I have to fake being nice is just draining. This isnt the type of job I like.. I like any job that doesnt deal with customers.. I cant stand customers

Getting Better Every Day :)
Finally things are starting to turn around. Adam finally found a full time job with benefits, I changed jobs and now I am in less pain with my hip. So finances will be getting much better soon. We both have quit smoking almost a week ago and that is going well. Adam and I have worked out most of the kinks of us living together and are getting along well. Just a blog to say I am greatful for all my great friends for putting up with me lately...lol. Seriously I couldn't have done it without venting to you at times. To my friends...mawh I love you all!

Getting Older.
Lets face it time is just passing on year after year! Yeah it seems like just the other day we were getting out of high school or just turning 21! I think back and wonder where the hell did it pass me by? Well I've been told that your only as old as you feel! ? Yeah right! I really don't feel old but I sure do look older than I did! lol Oh well I guess its just something we've got to deal with!

(DIESEL IS THE GARBAGE THAT GASOLINE LEAVES BEHIND WHEN IT'S PRODUCED) You wanna know why milk is over $4/gal, or why a candy bar is up to about a buck, or why a Ribeye steak is about $8/lb? It's all because diesel is over $5/gal. (Yep, so before anyone starts being assholes and blaming retailers for hiking prices....guess what? They had to pay for that product to be transported to their store via....YOU GUESSED IT.....a BIG RIG!! And guess what folks? The Federal Government is happier than a pig in its own filth because.....they collect a certain percentage of EVERY gallon of fuel sold. It doesn't matter to them that people are sacrificing necessities.....just to get to work. They couldn't possibly care any less than they already do. ALSO, nearly all of the people who CAN do something to help (I.E. the Prez.) WON'T!!! Why? Well because those ASSHOLES own stock in the oil companies. What a retirement plan huh?

I can't believe we are already just about to the 4th of July!! YAY!!! I've been busy around the house gettin everythin ready and try to have it in order for friday. Just a couple days ago, I found out something that I did not like. I was on the site Fubar, and on there they have these lounges which are basically chatrooms online. It has occurred to me, not only now but when I was on before, that asking to be a friend of someone seems to be implying you want to look at the NSFW section of their pics. Tuesday is the big day..I have my surgery. It's not major or anything but it is more involved than what it was going to be. I know it will be fine but I am still nervous. I can only get to know someone that is willing to talk to me and let me know who they are. i am a very sontanious person and i am not very patient, i guess that is one of the things i have to work on about me. i dont want to change anyone else. it is useless. if you want know the ins and outs of me you have to ask me questions and i will answer the best i can. i can tell you one thing about myself. i do not lie. the guilt is just not worth the time for me. Okay...so something several non-artists don't know is that in general, any artist of any genre and of any type (music, writing, fine arts, crafts, etc.) is pretty much crazy. OK, well I have been reading some blogs and think I some what understand how this works, my views on whatever is on my mind for the day, week, month or year. Getting Ready
So as some of U may already know I am moving back home to NY.. I am pretty excited and wish the time would pass by quicker.. I cant wait to be able to do more with my life then the few things I have been restricted to here in GA.. I was nervous about telling my daughter about this move but last night it slipped out in front of her.. So I got to deal with it right then and there.. I was able to keep her calm, and explain to her all the ways that dad moving was a good thing.. How she would be able to come and visit me up there and be able to do all kinds of things that she cant do here.. I think I was able to get her a little excited about it as well.. As I sit here on my bday I have come to realize a lot!! I will be applying to medical school next week in hopes of becoming a successful anesthesiologist.. A wise person once said " The biggest regreats in life are the chances you dident take" I have to say that some big regreats in life then . Getting Worse And Worse
My aunt is scheduled to go in for a triple by-pass tomorrow. She has 90%, 70% and 99% blockages in areas of the heart and now a 70% and 50% blockage in the sides of her neck. 04/06/10 I want to get back to writing and I think this is the best way to start. Getting back to writing my journals/blogs. The weathah has been off lately… off = not sunny. Today the weathah is bettah in being sunny but still a bit chilly. Back in the Saddle I have been working the same ol' grind for about 10 years without much of a break. Work has been slow lately, since the ECONOMY is so darned slow, so web design has been a slow business to be in lately. I have been out knocking on doors trying to drum up business, but most of the small mom and pops are going under. It is kind of a sign of the times...I guess. Getting The House Ready
Today was busy! I started my day with a community service project with my Rotary club. We did some weed clearing, tree trimming, and brush removal at the entrance to our town where there's a statue and a really nice sign. Now you can see it when you drive by! Right after that I zipped north a bit and recorded some voice over for a series of radio spots. I guess I've accidentally become the voice of a local restaurant / event center. I felt a little guilty for going off and leaving my husband to work on all the stuff around the yard so I came home ready to jump in and help. It's amazing what needs to be done before leaving for 3 weeks. We're getting the yard prepared. That has meant replacing a bad set of stairs and building retaining walls (so that who ever is taking care of our chickens can safely get up to the coop). We live on a sand dune with a sloping backyard so it's a mess if we dont' shore it up. When we got the house it was a mess of rat infested ivy. Now it's just a mess.

Gettin' Squirrelly
Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't. Around here the squirrels can often be fairly entertaining. I have a bird feeder that hangs on the front porch so we can watch the birds. A lot of times however, I get to watch the acrobatics of the local squirrels as they raid the feeders too. These are red squirrels and not the grey ones I used to hunt as a boy. These look too scrawny to eat.... probably take a whole bunch of them to make a decent pot of stew. But they're fun to watch. We have to be careful of what we leave outside. Sometimes when I'm out splitting firewood or working around the farm, I will bring me a snack. I'll sit on a treestump or log and take a break. If I turn my back for even an instant the food disappears. In this case I discovered that squirrels like ice cream cones. Sometimes they'll steal the bread off the top of my sandwiches. So yesterday the group at TR all went to the Louisville Zoo; we had such a good time! Everyone was in good spirits, the trip up was quick and the zoo was AMAZING..I had never been before so I was excited to see all I could, we had only a couple of hours but it was so nice, decor was for halloween, they have safe treating during october and all sorts of games and activities. Today was a beautiful day...and for once in a long time..I finally got on call from work. BAKED STUFFED CHICKEN 6-7 lb. chicken 1 cup melted butter 1 cup stuffing (Pepperidge Farm is good.) 1 cup uncooked popcorn (Orville Redenbacher's Low Fat) Salt/pepper to taste Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Get Your Own Bathroom!
It's not easy having 5 people in your family and only one bathroom! Taking showers and using the restroom are not that easy and it is only the second day of dealing with it and already I am about to scream. Peter got a total of 4 or 5 tiles laid down yesterday. I didn't complain because as I was working on my computer, I could hear him cussing up a storm every time he put one down. I guess they shifted? I did however ask him last night when he might be done with the tile so we can put the toilet back in and he growled at me saying it is going to be a while. Oh no! I am going to lovingly push him very hard to finish it! ;) My son had a doctor appointment this morning and I learned a lot about him in 15 minutes. He told the doctor that he sometimes puts the pill back in the bottle when I leave the room. So that is why some days he doesn't do so hot at school! He also informed us that he rarely eats his sandwich! Kids! We are going to stop making them a lunch if they
