this is going to be a long one. about five years ago i saved 2 of my grandchildren from a fire, i was burnt 80% oof my body with first, second and third degree burns, my lungs collapsed, the doctors put me in a drug induced coma for five weeks, i was in the hospital for 3 months, when this first happened the doctors tried everything they could do to keep me from dying, but the doctors at osu burn clinic told my mother that a higher power saved me, because spite all their efforts to stop me from dying, then trying to bring me back, was useless, yes, i had a death experience, bu tthats betwen me and god,68% of my body is grafted, i had three major skin graft operations and was given twenty pints of blood between the three, i am tested every year for aids, though i know i don't have it cause god healed me of any damage or diseases made to my blood, but thanks to the fact that the doctors pumped me full of massive amounts of steroids to ward off infection. i now have type 2 diabetese,

THE POSTAL SERVICE NO ONE HEARS ABOUT Our 14 year old dog, Abbey, died last month. The day after she died, my 4 year old daughter Meredith was crying and talking about how much she missed Abbey. She asked if we could write a letter to God so that when Abbey got to heaven, God would recognize her. She dictated and I wrote: Dear God, Will you please take special care of our dog, Abbey? She died yesterday and is in heaven. We miss her very much. We are happy that you let us have her as our dog even though she got sick. I hope that you will play with her. A while back I went to the Post Office for stamps so that we could send out that weeks invoices. In our Post Office there is a stamp vending machine just inside the lobby. Which is very convenient, pop in a $5 $10 or $20 and get your stamps from the bottom and your out the door. Simple! As soon as I entered, and before I approached the machine I noticed a line of 6 people on the right side of the counter with one lady serving them. I popped in my $10 into the machine,,, friggen thing ate it! No stamps! I went to the other lady behind the counter, explained that the machine ate my $10. She hands me this form to fill out and told me to stand in that line ( pointing to the line on the right ) After I filled out the form, and took my place in line. I notice that the gentleman in front of me had a similar form, and the lady in front of him had one also. A quick survey and I discovered that everyone in that line lost $$ to that damn machine. Post Surgery Update - Home Sweet Home!
Hey everyone, yeah I'm home...been home for a couple weeks now...just gettin to the point where it's not as painful to walk around the house and sit for a couple of hours at a time. From what I have been told by my doctor, the surgery went very well and am healing better than he expected. WooHoo LOL He told me he found a 5cm fibroid on the back of my uterous, 3 lesions, and my right falopian tube was full of fluid to 3cm in diameter ...thankfully those were the only things he had to take, I got to keep my ovaries YAAA!! No daily hormone therapy for me! LOL Although the surgery went well, I was told by my mom when she came tuesday night, that earlier that morning(day after surgery)when she came to bring me back my glasses, that she came to find many nurses around my bed trying to wake me. When they told my mom what had been going on,that my oxygen levels were dropping and I was into the low 80's, when I should have been in the mid 90's so she stayed to help as well. From what sh

We have been looking forward to the historic day in the Iraq War of June 30th for a long time. I’m sure a lot of people have been also. A major change was put out for us prior to the day. Leading up, our platoon had been running daily and nightly “joint” patrols throughout Baghdad. The night before June 30th, four soldiers from our brigade were killed and we ourselves don’t know all the details. Everything around us leading up to the 30th had a spike in violence and we expected to be quite busy on the day of the turnover. Powerlifting Competition
Competed down in Monroe, LA this past weekend and had my best meet thus far. For those that don’t know, the AAPF (Amateur American Powerlifting Federation) is a drug-free (drug-tested) federation. 8 out of my 9 lifts were good. Squatted 589.73, Benched 429.9, and Deadlifted 556.66. Totaled 1576.29lbs at a bodyweight of 163lbs. Earned an invite to the AWPC Worlds Competition this August in IL. All the numbers were personal records for me. I went into this meet relaxed which, I think, made a difference. I get some time to recoup, get a little work going and then start training again for August. I'm off to Monroe, LA this weekend to compete in the AAPF Powerlifting Nationals. Top 3 spots in each weight class get an invitation to the Worlds later on this summer. That's the goal I'm looking to achieve. Thank you to everyone who gave me their support for my competition. This morning I was woken by my best friend, calling about a man we both worked with. He has Stage IV cancer and he underwent surgery to remove his tumor yesterday. Over the weekend, my sister in law, Lisa , age 44, who has had diabetes and a whole range of medical problems for years...passed away from a massive heart attack. Please keep our whole family in prayer. She will be laid to rest tomorrow morning at 10 am. Thank you all. For the second year in a row, I have lost someone near and dear to me, and her name was, once again, Lisa. My great friend of 12 or 13 yrs was found slumped over her computer yesterday. She was just past her 1 year anniversary with her new hubby and had just had a beautiful baby boy 2 weeks ago. She also has a 15 yr old son who had spinal meningitis and was disabled and an 11 yr old daughter. Her passing away is a major shock to everyone. Please, keep her family in prayer.

Prayers for my Grandson Shaylon Hi all, I usually don't ask anything of anybody. I'm asking now that you all keep my 3 year old grandson in your prayers as he's having his 8th surgery Tuesday, April 14.2009. I know as he gets older they get rougher for him and me. He was born with a cleft plate and lip and his having surgery to try and close up the rest of the roof of his mouth. Which they have tried to do 4 previous times. He had first surgery at 2 months old to pull lip together some. Made a tremendous difference. At 5 months they closed up alot of the roof of his mouth. Which didn't make much difference in outter appearance, but helped with alot with his eating and not as much coming out nose. At 9 months they did more work on lip and nose. He's looking grand. He will still require alot of orthodontic work, nose work and possibly more lip work. So please keep him in your prayers. Thank you all and love ya. He is scheduled to have surgery on December 1. He has a hernia that they are going to attempt to repair. They type of hernia he has likes to hide and according to the doctor if it is hiding at the time of surgery and she cannot find it when she gets in there then he will end up having to have another one when it shows back up. Please pray for one of my best friends Tosha. She has had a bad 3 weeks. She had surgery about 3 weeks ago and went to the hospital 2 times to try to find out why she was in really bad pain. Nobody would tell her anything and they wouldn't help her even tho she told them something was wrong. Well 3 days ago she was giving me her symptoms to another friend and was told "tosha go to the ER now u are having a miscarraige. well come to find out thats exactly what had happened. The doctor did the surgery while she was carrying her little unborn aby. Something she had been wanting for a long time. She had to undergo a D&C Saturday night and she has been crying ever since. Thank you all that have put my sister in your prayers. She is still in critical condition but that fact that she is still here gives me hope. I have someone very dear to me. Battleing with cancer, and though i know the odds of survive cancer continues to greatly in crease with treatments and support. This is my first experience. Though she is the strongest person i have ever known, i don't know that she is strong enough or has even strength or faith to pull her through this too. Pray For My Mother
Last night my mother had a massive coronary , Luckily I was here at home. She is now in the ICU and not completely out of the clear as of yet. I never thought I would have to use my army training to treat my own mother, but it helped me to stop panicing and detach myself enough to help her through it. I stayed with her all night then all day, coming home tonight to grab some sleep, and am going back in the morning to the hospital. Please send any healing energies that you can spare. Love Amber

Baby is fine and healthy! Saw her at the baseball game today and she's adorable! She was only about 5 pounds when she was born but she looks great now. Paige Emma is her name =) A friend of the family's and his wife were to go into the hospital yesterday to have their 2nd child. I've been kept up-to-date on her condition from her monther-in-law and by the looks of it, it looked like she was doing alright. I don't know the conditions or nothing of what happened but they were to do a serious operation on her to take the baby out the best way possible. It put both her and the baby in great danger. Hopefully by Sunday I'll have an update of good news, but all prayers would be greatly appreciated for this family. :)

The doctors came in this morning and are saying that they are not expecting the baby to live. He is having strokes one after another. They said if the child were to live that he would be completely blind and he will be a vegetable for the rest of his life. And will be dependant on life support for the rest of his life. The parents who done this to the child are in the custody of the state and are behind bars, possibly facing murder charges. Please keep this little man in your prayers, and pray that God will help him overcome this battle or go ahead and take him home and end his suffering. A dream come true for the daddy...after waiting 47 yrs John finally became a dad!! I have worked with John going on 6yrs now and he honestly never thought he would get married or become a father. His dreams came true when he married his bride a yr ago next month and another one came true when his beautiful son was born Aug. 15th @ 2:22pm We recieved the call at work around 3 from a very joyful father. The babies name is "Kristopher Ean Robert". We didnt get a weight due to the fact that the baby was under lights to bring up his body temp. Mom is back in the hospital. They took her back in with pneumonia. She had just finished an anti biotic for a bladder infection. The docotrs told her, and she told me that the end would be like this. One infection after another. Her bones have become so brittle from the cancer. And when they break the bad marrow that is released into her blood stream eats away the good blood cells. It gets harder for her to fight this stuff off. So after 8 years of fighting this disease and breaking bones and constant pain she gets this.... it doesnt seem fair. In October 2006, I was diagnosed with stage 3-4 Brain Stem Cancer. I have 7 tumors, all are inoperable. Each month for 5 consecutive days, I take a chemotherapy pill. This makes me tired, weak and very nauseated. I also have blood and platelet transfusions regularly. We just got home from the doctors office and it looks like the biopsy came back that Winter does NOT have MDS at this time. There were a few things off but nothing to worry about. THE BILE IN HER SYSTEM HAD GOTTEN INTO HER LUNGS AND BLOODSTREAM AND WAS SO BACKED UP THAT IT WAS CAUSING STRESS ON HER HEART WHICH BROUGHT HER HEARTRATE TO 240 WHEN IT SHOULD HAVE ONLY BEEN ABOUT 150 OR 160. SHE HAD EMERGENCY SURGERY TO PUT IN A COLOSTOMY BAG WHEN THEY FOUND THE OBSTRUCTION. THEY CUT OUT PART OF HER BOWEL. SHE HAD TO HAVE A BLOOD TRANSFUSION BECAUSE HER COUNT WAS LOW AND THEY COULDN'T GET IT BACK UP. WHICH IS KEEPING HER FROM REGULATING HER OWN BODY TEMPERATURE. SHE WILL HAVE TO HAVE SURGERY AGAIN BUT IT WILL BE ANOTHER MONTH AT LEAST BEFORE THEY CAN DO IT. Today a great man passed away. My fathers best friend was someone who would give you the shirt off of his back in the middle of winter, even if that meant he would have nothing. He wouldn't take no for an answer and he always put others before himself. In January when they told me that I had cancer, my father didn't know who else to turn to, so he called Allen. I have only seen my father cry twice in my life. Once at my grandmothers funeral, and once at my godchilds funeral. Prayers For My Baby!
Earlier today my baby boy Hunter had what appeared to be a siezure and stopped breathing on our way home from the park. I was able to do CPR and restore breathing before paramedics arrived. He was rushed to the nearby hospital where they did a CT scan and some blood work which all came back ok. He will have to see a neurologist this week for an EEG to check for epileptic activity. Today was truely one of the worst days I've ever had and hope to never have again! Please pray for my precious lil man and keep him in your thoughts. He is so younge and normally such a happily lil guy and this episode was absolutely horrible for everyone.
