I will be doing a St. Paddys Day Auction at the beginnin of next month. With the success of the Sweetheart one, I just can't NOT do it. I do however have a few issues.... This Day Just Sucks! Vamp Morticia's Health And Crappy Day! 1/5/09
OK! This is going to be a rant type of blog. I went to the Dr. about the HORRIBLE pain I've been having in my back. I'm only 33 and feel like I'm 53 cuz of it and I can't sleep either! WELL...I thought it was my kidneys and something that could be taken care of. It's not. :( It goes back to 2002 and 2003 when I was in two car accidents. I rotated my hip and messed up my back and neck. Well, this past christmas I was going christmas shopping with my daughter and fell on ice. Which reinjured everything. I NOW HAVE CHRONIC BACK AND NECK PAIN. The pain is horrible. I'm now to take 800mg Ibruprofen for 3 times everyday and a muscle relaxer Flexeril and use heating pads on it. It sucks. Almost wish it was my kidneys. :( I go back on the 16th for a fasting blood test to make sure they didn't miss anything. THEN had to go to the grocery store after the Dr. that was a damn job for a family of 6! When I got home I had to carry in all the damn groceries and put them away.

So the other night I had a dream that included a friend on fubar that I consider to be very near and dear to my heart. What I can remember about it was that him and I were on some type of game/reality tv show kind of like The Power of Truth. Effing Day
I need to purge this outta my head so I can hopefully relax once I get the kids. This day was such a fucking emotional roller coaster I could hurl. Literally. Started out WAY too early, got the kids ready and off to day care, then came home to get myself ready. Coffe, shower, trying to put on panty hose I ripped a huge hole in the knee. Forms Of Address
Theres a growing trend here for employees of services such as gas, electricity, water, telephone, etc to address their customers very casually by their first names. Some people find this acceptable but many do not. Mainly older people have found this particularly unacceptable and objectionable. The rationale is to appear "cool" and "trendy", rather than old school. My understanding is that it is more professional to stick to a title + surname basis. Having said that, I wouldn't be particularly offended by someone going to a first name basis so long as they provided a good service. As a professional, I tend to stick to the old school title + surname way of addressing people till I am invited to use their first name. I recently read an article all about this, which has prompted me to write this blog. What is everyone else's view?

My favorite movies list are as follows and I'll tell you why they are a favorite. 1. Lord Of the Rings Triligy - the creativity and the time that went into those movies is just awesome and I watch it anytime and still love it. Best movies ever made. 2. Dawn of the Dead (2004) - A very flawless horror film that was very well played and directed. Everything was smooth and kept me on my toes. 3.Pirates of the Carribean movies - The best pirate movies of all time. Johny Depp played Jack Sparrow very well and carried the part to its fullest. Atheism
It is said that science cannot offer solid proof of the existence of God. The facts have to be interpreted by each individual to allow them to draw their own conclusions. In most belief systems that include a creator of some description, there is a concept of accountability for all your actions. Atheists often vilify those who believe in God, hence my question. Is atheism usually a thought out and reasoned decision? Or is the concept of accounability to a Creator too unpalatable for some poeople, so their atheism is a form of denial?

Good Trip
Well I am back in Raleigh after being gone for a week. Was not sure I would make it, as my co-pilot was the driver from hell, my little big sister Tammy. She's very proud of the fact that she's "wrecked every car she ever owned". She had me over the white line on my side everytime she drove, I got some real up close looks at other drivers. Had a blast in Louisiana at my 20 year reunion, catching up with people that I had not seen since High School days. But of course the best part is hanging out with those friends I most care about, who I see every time I go down. I have to say I am glad I don't live there anymore cause I know I would be 350 pounds, everywhere I go people want to feed me. I think I put on 10 pounds this week. Hospital Again

I have a little peeve: It involves people telling me how much they love my former country, how much they want to go there one day, how awesome it is that I am from there, or how they wish they also lived there. What A Week This Has Been!

Long have I held onto guilt over past love failures whether or not they were my fault per se. I woke up knowing that I need a detox of my heart and soul to wash all that away, and embrace the core of life, such as the joy of just being alive. Here I was, in turmoil because it seemed the devil was laughing at me and I was the butt of a cruel cosmic joke as the train of age sped toward me on a collision course, and I stood alone in it's path frozen and unable to move. I wake today an empowered man, and I feel alive. I have conquered that final fear and I've slain the demons of guilt that helped feed that damned dirty fear of being alone. I am ready to truly live life now. You have to love clarity.

Ya know what is sad? When someone you've known for a really long time finally tells you they love you and your heart finally feels complete and finally you meet and everything feels so right with the world until you go home. Then everything changes. The calls stop, the pictures stop, the attention they showed you almost comes to a screeching halt. They claim to never get your text, you always get their voice mail and they basically ignore you. What is even more sad is that they are more worried about losing their "girls" on the FU than they are losing someone who is real and loved them more than anything in this world. I'm Sick
I've got a bad case of bronchitis. I've coughed so hard I've pulled muslces in my back and stomach. Autumn is doing great now. She's off oxygen, her IV, and just about everything in general. I however am now on an inhaler and antibotics and vicodin for the pain. I'm going to head butt the doctor today till he lets us go home. Autumn is perfectly normal again, so there is no reason why we shouldn't. Jeff is being really sweet. Hes helping me feel better. Just another couple days and I finally get to see him. I can't wait. Should I Start Freaking Out Now?
I work for a health insurance company. I telecommute from home. My office is in Oregon, I live in Arizona. The only reason they allowed me to move so far away was because we also have an office in Scottsdale, AZ so I was within a 100 mile radius. We were informed today that we will no longer be doing business in Arizona. The office will be closed and the employees given a severance package. Technically, I work for the Arizona company, but that happened only after I moved here. Prior to that I was working for the Oregon company. I am about to lose my mind. Should I start to freak out now? Should I wait until I hear officially if I am going to be among those being let go or they are going to let me keep working from home? Finally Done!
I went into day to get the procedure done, I'm so damn glad it's over however after he was done I felt faint, almost passed out on the nurse that was in the room with me & the doctor/mother.. I did not feel a thing while he was doing it which is a good thing although, knowing that it's emmbersing I had shit all over the place why I do not know, maybe from my nurves or because of the speculum pushing on my rectum anyways he gave me some killer ass pain meds/ antibiotics can not take that till a week from now, I am to see him 5 weeks from today but the fucked up thing is John & I have reservations on the 23RD of March which falls in the line of when he wants to see me, so I'm going to try & try to get an APP on the 19TH which will be 4 weeks I mean hell what is a week? I have stuff going on with my eyes right now. I went to my eye dr. and couldn't focus on any of the lines on the chart. I'm on an antibiotic drop for my eyes so they can start focusing again. And about 4 or 5 years ago it was brought up that I might need a cornea transplant due to scarring on my cornea that I got about 5 or 6 years ago. And the doctor confirmed that I need it still. (He tried to make it better with a really strong steroid first before going the surgery route.) I did a little research on a cornea transplant. It is an outpatient surgery but has a year recovery. It might be a while before I get it though because of insurance and crap. IAnd I can put it off which is good cuz I saw the vid on how the do it and ewwww gross. You get 16 stitches in your eye. Shocking!
Ok, yesterday I bought one of those foam mattress pads and was putting it on my bed, but while I was taking the old one off it shocked me. I have a wool oriental rug and no doubt that's what caused it. It was the worst static shock I've ever gotten and didn't know that it could be that bad. Anyway, it struck on my middle finger in the middle of the fingernail. It put a hole in the fingernail and caused it to bleed and made my whole arm (all the way to my shoulder) hurt for a couple of hours. Has anyone else ever had a static shock this bad or worse? i am worried and prayering for my friend who has breast cancer, she has sugary on the March 9! Her email is below.. please pray for her to get better.. thank you! "I got the good news that I am a candidate for the reconstructive surgery that I wanted. The insurance has cleared it and my surgery has been set for March 9 at H. Hospital. My stay will be from 3 to 5 days and than I am going to my moms to recover for a week or so. The actual time will be 6 to 8 weeks before I feel somewhat back to "normal". This is the final chapter on this long road of fighting Breast Cancer and hopefully the last. My spirits remain high and I know the long term outcome will be good for me. The name of the surgery I am getting is called a Tram Flap and it is pretty extensive. It will be 8 hours in the operating room but well worth it in the end. Toys R Us Sucks Cocks In Hell!!!
I can't believe I am pissed off over something this stupid, but I am Johnny Storm over this shit!!! (flame ON!) My son & his friends are all into Club Penguin. Chemo Started

Roasted Red Pepper Pasta Sauce
I made this the other night, nice break from tomatoes. 5 roasted red peppers (jarred or fresh), I roast my own, the jarred ones don't taste the same, but I'm also a fresh produce Nazi 1 onion, diced 2 garlic cloves, minced salt & pepper 1/4 tsp hot red pepper flakes extra virgin olive oil 1/2 cup white wine grated parmesan Saute onions in large skillet over medium heat in the oil until transparent. Add garlic and hot pepper flakes, cook for another two minutes or so. Add wine and bring to simmer. Cut roasted peppers into bite size pieces (skin them first if you're doing the roasting yourself) and add to skillet. Season with salt & pepper. Cover and simmer 15 mins. Pour into food processor and pulse until peppers are in small pieces, don't paste them. Pour over pasta and top with parmesan.

My Virgin Trip To Chicago
I was recently nominated for a position on the Agent's Council for RLI Insurance Co. It's a very prestigious honor to be nominated, especially since there are only 6 members of the panel. Two IIABA Administrators, two retail MGA agents, one retail distributor and one call center representative. The executive director of the orgainization I work for as well as the director for my department were notified and they approved of my participation, and now I get an all expense paid trip to Chicago at the end of March!!! I'm really excited!!! I've never been to Chicago and I am finally getting acknowledgement for the job I have done since I took over the insurance program almost two years ago. I went to see that Oncologists Cancer Specialist, he checked me out down stairs an well found the tumor which is 5mm in size, it's not really that big however he said my choices are either radiation,chemo or surgery at this point I don't know what I'm going to do he wants me to have some testing done such as a CT scan & blood work I am do to go in tomorrow for those & then I go into see him on the 12th. I have been doing alot of research on all this shit and most of it doesn't make since but then again I know what I've got to deal with & if I don't do anything about it, the doctor said that it will start to spread anyways I'm some what worried about the out come of the testing because he wants to make sure that it hasn't spreaded anywhere else such as my lungs, ect... I just recently found out that a friend of mine has cancer. I will not say his name because he is here on fubar. He is an ex of mine, but also a really good friend. It's stage 3 right now and the doctors don't know if they will be able to remove it or not yet. He's scared.. as we all would be... and so am I. I feel a little selfish because I don't want him to die... I wouldn't know what to do with myself.. I would go clinically insane. It's tearing me apart inside and out.. and I know it's breaking him down too. He's in his late 20's, but sounds like an 80 year old man because it's effecting him that bad.
