A Mother's Day Breakfast: When I was 7 years old...I decided that my Mom deserved the best Mother's Day Present that I could get or do for her. I finished Rosie O'Donell's book last night. It took me less than 24hrs to read the entire book. It was an easy read and it kept my attention the entire time. Hey I have had such a wild week. First my little girl spiked a fever of 105.4 on sunday afternoon then monday we took her to the doc and we came home then we are still fighting fever on tuesday then I was up all night with my little white dog in labor. She wouldn't let me leave her site. Then we had to rush her to the vet on wed. morning to have a c-section done. Then that night one of the pups died b/c it was to week from being in the birth canal to long. And still fighting tessa's temp in b/w. And then we have had to take mom and pup to the vet everyday so mom could get a shot of antibiotics b/c of a fever and oral at home 2 x a day. On friday tessa's doc calls and said they are admitting her to the hospital b/c she has double nemonia "I don't think that is the correct spelling" , but anyway so we have been at the hospital and it looks like we will be there all weekend. Finals Are Over!
As of Tuesday evening, all of my classes for the Fall Quarter are finished! I had 3 finals on Tuesday, and I did very well in all of them. In fact, this morning I saw my Algebra professor at the gym, and she said that I had gotten an A in the class and received the highest grade on the final. In my Business class I have done well the entire Quarter and got an A on my 10 page research project / presentation. So I am certain I have an A in that class as well. My English class I enjoyed the most, and just before midterms I had a B. Then I "Aced" the midterm, and after taking the final I spoke with my professor; she told me that all I needed was a C or better to get an A in the class. So I am quite happy. Today is the first day I have had an actual day off since the quarter began in September... usually I work everyday that I'm not in school. I'm Back
Just got back a couple days ago from my trip to Dallas Tx. It was one of the best trips I took in my life. I went to see my "favorite" football team the great DALLAS COWBOYS!!! in Texas Stadium. It was unbelievable. The game didn't go the way I wanted it to go but I still had a great time. I met some nice people and made some new friends. If I had to do it all again I would no hesitation about it. I felt at home. No pressure, no rushing. The women looked great. The food out of this world. The whole experience I give a total double thumbs up with a back flip and half twist! If I was flexible enough to do it. Now I am back to reality and boy oh boy do I wish I was back down in Dallas. Christmas....
Christmas wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be this year. I was at a party until 3am and had to get up at 8am to go to my parents. I got tons of stuff. It was awesome! I came upon this topic on an email list a few days ago. I was going through some of my old college books and found Joan Didion's essay, Why I Write and was contemplating using this topic as the basis of a biography I need for another venture. My Son
This is for my son. He is just 19 and he will be leaving for Great Lakes to start Basic Training. When he finishes his A school he will be in AO he has done a lot of growing up in the past few months and this will help him a lot. Ok, so here I am at 4:22 A.M. on Cherry Tap, writing about my feelings! Right now I feel pretty crappy. No actualy I would have to say it is more like pretty shitty! I just came home from the last night of my club being open. I kept thinking we could make it work, but there just is no way. I will miss it alot. It was my dream..... I do not know if it is better to have a dream and actualy get a taste of it and to feel that dream, or to never have known what it was like at all. I will miss Midnight Blue so very much. *3/3/07* 69 Eyes/cradle Of Filth Show Review
So Saturday night March 3rd I went with 2 friends to see Cradle of Filth and The 69 Eyes down in Baltimore @ Ram's Head Live. Some group called 3 Inches of Blood was the opening band and they were ok but not exactly my cup of tea. The 69 Eyes did a great 8 or 9 song set and then Cradle came out and did a long ass set and 2 encores. It was loud, heavy, with a lot of drunken headbanging! Just how I like it ^_^. The pit was insane and I saw a lot of people coming out bloody and stuff. I saw my friend Becky aka. LilMissSpookiness from KY with her hubby at the show and we hung out for a few. Afterwards I bought 2 shirts and 2 posters and hung out at the bar with Bazie (guitarist from The 69 Eyes) and got a pic with him and got him to sign one of my posters. I got a lot of it! I'm already pissed that I lost my free weekend to this damn storm. And now I get to be woken up early to being basically told I had to come into work. The only reason I'm not there right now is that my parents will not allow me to leave this house and try to make that trek. Even if I do live rather close to work... I jump as the phone rings. This can't be more bad news. Looking on the caller ID before answering, I find myself starting to shake As the name and number appears. Damn. Suicide is no joke. If you have a friend who shows signs of depression help them out. Just talk to them. It could make a big difference. Well, I went to find him on my friends list so I could see if my comment was still up there....GONE! Both him as my "friend" and my comment on his page. I know it was up there for about an hour though. So I'm under the assumption that he read it, deleted it, got rid of me on his friends list (no big loss there), probably blocked me so I can't post any more comments on there. But I think just because he deleted it and I'm still here, my account, for the time being, is safe. I guess that was his reply. Maybe he didn't delete my account because by the time he saw it, he saw the time it was done and realized too many people might have seen it and if he deleted me a mutiny of sorts might happen. Dunno. But I honor his deleting of being his "friend", friends don't delete other friends for voicing opinions.
