So I didn't log on to fubar in a few months... I've noticed a feature that I enjoyed before isn't being utilized... What happen to the lounges? I use to enjoy going in those from time to time and listen to the different tunes and see what kind of interesting conversations are being had. I see the list of lounges, but they always say inside "0"... what gives? Am I missing something?

What a long way we have come from Lost Cherry....to FUBAR.... It used to be that the lounges were great places...now it seems as though it is a battle ground on here, and some things w/ the new lounges are awesome...(the setup of them) but then you have that greediness that has arose...it is quite shameful. I hope everyone get a chance to read this.... The saddedst part of any lounge are people's attitudes. The new lounges I have seen owners say no one under level three allowed, no default pic, no one from this lounge or that one... How childish and ridiculous. So as of today I hope people who ask me to join their lounge realize "I WILL NOT SUBSCRIBE" to any lounge that specifies restricting levels, pics, other lounges...if I find out they do, I WILL IMMEDIATELY UNSUBSCRIBE, and may not return to lounge. So if you feel that disgraceful towards someone...block them yourself but do not impend ignorance on others...peace

I've noticed that lounges usually play : 1. Heavy Metal 2. Rap 3. Classic Rock 3 good reasons why I don't spend much time in them. I do like to talk but I'm quite particular in what I listen too. If I do stay in a lounge, rest assured that the music in there is muted and I'm listening to my thing. No offense. I mean how many lounges do you need playing the same sort of music? Boring and unoriginal. I don't really get this whole juggalo thing either. Maybe I'm getting a bit old. Rap music and I use that term lightly, is horrible as it is. Then when you have 2 white guys with painted faces...it makes it even worse. Again, my humble opinion only.

So far I've had 3 invitations to various lounges.I assume that by my accepting the invites the person that invited me gets points/fubucks. Judging from the way I've been 'welcomed' at the lounges,one or two cursory "Hello"s,then silence,I can only infer that new people aren't welcome and that the people who invited me only did so for the points/fubucks. Is there something in my profile that is so hideously repellent that warrants ignoring me? I'd surely like to know.

What makes for a Good Lounge? Who knows? Some Lounges that have been around for years are not popular (or they once were and everyone left) and some that are new are rocking with folks. Why do some promoters just RUB ME THE WRONG WAY?! sometimes I dont know why I get annoyed at some and others I jump for the lounge. I am both so impressed with some and disgusted with others that I decided to start to review the lounge and give feedback. Is it me, or do most 'Lounges', or chat rooms as they used to be called, have very little substance at all in the converations? A lot of 'hello's' and 'goodbye's' followed by half-assed flirting, and smiley faces, as well as goofy prescription based acts typed out to suggestive themes, or general expressions. I just started my first account on fu last night and i am loving it so far the people are nice and everything is new and confusing but great, i stumbled into a lounge last night and it was absolutely amazing, i heard you can have radios on here and make song requests in lounges, that is just great to me, the first lounge i stepped into i loved it and the new people i met in there were lovely, some lounge called Demonic Retribution, i had a great time learning to chat in there last night and they were all so helpful to me, i am greatful for their help, Much Luv To All My New Friends On Fubar And The Great People I Still Have Not Met. Why is it that 99.5% of all lounges here on fubar play nothing but shitty music? It seems that no one, and I mean NO ONE that runs a lounge is willing to have a talk show, no matter what the content or entertainment value, is immediately shunned at the very inference of it playing in THEIR lounge? In my search of something besides music in these lounges, I have found 3 such shows that might be similar to a talk show that I can find. I truly believe hands down, I have the best internet radio talk show anywhere. Yet, I can get no love from anyone, not even a real shot. Unless you count the Forbidden lounge, where just as I was about to start my broadcast, I get banned from the lounge by a fucking lackey cuz he has no clue what the fuck he's doing. I am a normal everyday person. I didn't know anything about fubar until I found it by accident. I really enjoy the site. I was interested in being a dj cause I enjoy listening to music. I want to others to enjoy the same tunes that I listen to. So, I decided to become a dj. I went out and got the stuff I needed to become one. I didn't know the first thing about the programs I needed. But I went out and found the info and talked to a lot of helpful people. I started playing music in this one lounge and it went well. For some reason, someone else didn't like it. My server code was pulled from this lounge. I am hurt that the people in the lounge who call themselves my family would do this to me. I don't think people really do things to pi$$ people off. However, I do feel this place is highly emotionally, charged environment that people should keep their personal feelings separate from.

Lounges Treating People Unfairly
I believe that lounges should not be able to tell you that you can not be in their lounge because of your name. If they have members that do not know how to act like adults then those people should be kicked out. I was punished because of others that act like children. If they act like children then treat them like chidren. That is what the silence, ban, and eject buttons are for. I feel this infringes on my freedom.

The Loungin Levelers Is a great family of people that help each other. Finally a family that doesnt asked you to give up your hole fubar life for them. To All of my staff!!! I have been noticing if I am not in the lounge no one shows up and that is making me and the owner very upset. I haven't been in the lounge cuz of my living situtions. I created my fubar account a couple years ago but never really used it until recently. When I found lounges I thought wow this is cool I can listen to some Jams talk some shit and make some friends.
