I am excited beyond belief. I didn't think this could happen, but it did...my coworker agreed to switch days with me for this week... soo.. I am going to the Friday The 13th Paranormal Meetup at the Haunted Parlor of the Sheridan Hotel in Chicago Its a meetup group that I'm in (you meet ppl in your area with similar interests, etc), and because of working nights, I have never been able to attend any of the meetings. So I'm not one for superstition,yesterday was the first time anything bad has happened on Friday the 13th. & Boy was it bad, lol. Eddie and I went to Alexandria(bout 45 mins from my house-kids at school)to go shopping. Ouch Well let’s see. Today my legs are killing me from the other day's workout! Last night I did the chest and back only half way through just to get a taste. I am sure I will be sore from that too tomorrow! It was a real good work out with lots of push-ups and pull-ups! Last night after work I had to go and get my son (played hooky from class), so I ate like normal all day then at 6 Drew and I went to Chick-fil-A. I had the side salad with fat free honey mustard, and a chicken salad sandwich. It was GOOD! I don't know how many calories or grams of fat are in it, but I am sure I am still within my limits. The only way you are going to get results from working out is to eat right. Your body needs these nutrients for the workout, and recovery. The only way that I found to keep eating right, and sticking to it is to keep a journal. This blog here will be my journal for the next 94 days. First things first, wearing all black for about 6 hours in 38 celcius is not fun. Now, I may have only been to one funeral that I remember, but they don't half do things differently over there. For a start half of the people who turned up didn't even bother wearing black, some women were wearing flip flops and bright nail varnish, others low cut tops and short skirts. Not exactly funeral attire... The ceremony was something new, 20 minutes of some greek jabbering by three priests after which everyone in attendance lined up and gave their condolances to my mum and her side of the family and her brother and his side of the family. As for the burial, that was something most people though was done badly. Firstly, the lowered the coffin in to the grave via two blokes, two ropes and much bashing against the sides and tombstone. Friday Night Forgets... Maybe Regrets Lol
We went to the bar last Friday night, my best friend and I. The bar owner says to Sandi, "Oh I heard you were on the bar a few weeks ago." Sandi looks at me.. and we both say.. Up pretty early took Hap and Mutt to work as usual. Brought the car home no letter, was very Disappointed. Caught a truck and went to Tanney Town, There is a big rock crushing there, but the boss has nephews enough to run it. I met one of them very nice kind of chap we had a quite a conversation about every thing and nothing. Back home, ate dinner, after that went to work on car washed all of the glasses, both headlights and my spot light. Also cleaned the radiator boy it sure looks better. Mutt came home from work we all went to Medford, for the weeks supply of groceries. Then I went to see the doc again. He said I needn’t come back any more, but he said leave that damn splint on until Mon or Tue. Then to a dance. I didn’t like it the orchestra wasn’t worth a d---. They couldn’t play anything. Snappy title, eh? In October 2005 I was fortunate enough to get to see Ronnie James Dio perform in what I believe turned out to be his final full UK tour. He was, as you'd expect, excellent. To get there, I had to drive across central England during the peak of the afternoon/early evening rush hour traffic on a Friday, into England's "second city", not knowing exactly where the venue was or what parking may or may not be available. This is the result of that journey. BUT. I wrote this to the tune of Alice Cooper's "I'm So Angry", which can be found on the CD "The Eyes Of Alice Cooper". I was just looking & I really thought I had posted about having an appt with a surgeon in El Paso this coming Friday but it appears as though I didnt LOLSo there it is :) Its about a 3 - 4 hour drive, depending on how many times I have to stop ;) And the appt is @ 10:30am so I have to leave home around 6:30 am. Fried Green Tomatoes Ingredients 2 lbs. green tomatoes 4 eggs 1 1/2 cups corn meal 1 Tbsp. salt 1/4 tsp. gr. black pepper bacon grease or oil for frying Procedure Slice the tomatoes 1/4 - 1/2 inch thick. Salt and Pepper to taste. Dip the tomato slices into cornmeal and brown on both sides. Serve immediately. Note: You can also fry red firm tomatoes this way too.

I am not so sure yet what a blog is, so I am just going to write thoughts.... I was just thinking today about friends... there are acquaitences we call friends.... There are life long friends... Fried Strawberries
Frgolini Fritti ~ This is a unique way to serve strawberries that is absolutely delicious. :Serves 4 Make sure your berries are very fresh and ripe for the best results. 1 Pound Strawberries, Cleaned 1/2 Cup Sugar 1/2 Cup Sweet Liqueur, Such As Maraschino 1/3 Cup All-Purpose Flour 1 Egg 1 Egg White 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter, Softened Milk 1/4 Cup Brandy For Frying Powdered Sugar Mix the sugar with the liqueur, and add the berries. Mix well, and let sit for about one hour. In a bowl, mix together the flour and butter. Add the egg, and brandy. Add enough milk to make a smooth batter. Beat the egg white until stiff, and then fold this into the batter. Heat the oil to 375 degrees F. Dip the berries into the batter, and fry until golden. Drain on paper towels, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and serve.

Nothing hurts so much as watching your friends fight. Normal fights you get to take sides, but when friends fight, everything becomes grey and you can no longer see what is right or wrong clearly. Have you ever had a friend who you continuously flakes out on you? Ever had a friend who doesn't put out 1/4 of the effort you do in your relationship? Fried Butterflied Shrimp
INGREDIENTS * 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined and butterflied * 1 quart water * 1 1/2 cups cornstarch * 2 eggs * 2 cups fresh bread crumbs * 5 cups oil for deep frying DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat deep fryer or skillet with oil to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2. In a large bowl, pour in water and mix in cornstarch and eggs. 3. Dip the shrimp into the mixture allowing them to be completely coated. Then roll the shrimp in the breadcrumbs. Coat the shrimp well with the breadcrumbs. Mix up the cornstarch batter again. Dip the breadcrumbs coated shrimp back into the cornstarch batter. Roll the shrimp in the breadcrumbs for a second time. Repeat for each shrimp. 4. Drop shrimp, one at a time, into the hot oil and cook shrimp until they are golden brown

So here is my very first blog. I'm going through a lot right now. My sister is in the hospital, and I'm hoping that she gets out soon. Besides that I am still getting in to my new position at work. I'm trying to get my best friend Krystle in there, and it's going to be weird because I will be her boss. It's crazy to think that I am only 20 years old, and I am in a management position. I am still unpacking my stuff. Krystle, Homer, and I just moved in to our new place. It's rather nice, and it is so much less dramatic than our old place. It's nice to move to a new place. I just really hate having to pack everything up, and then unpack again. Luckily, this time I didn't have to move a single thing. I went to work, and by the time I got home just about everything was here. It's just crazy to think that I'm doing so well just being so young.

Okay, call me crazy, but don't you need more then 3 months to know a person before you get on the marrying bandwagon? Well, it might be because I'm 24 and my friend is 36. A Friend Asked Me To Ask This Of The Guys, "why Do Girls Hate Guys?" = For Guys To Answer Only !!!
A friend of mine posted in one of her blogs to all her friends (almost all girls, but w/ a few exceptional guys) as to why they hate guys. The anwers she was given were quite interesting, and so she asked me if I could post a blog asking the guys why _they_ thing girls hate them. As noted in the subject, this is ONLY for gys to answer. We both think it will be quite interesting to see what differences there are betwen why girls hate guys, and why guys think gilrs hate them, for I would be willing to place all my money that the replies are different from one side to the other. This truly is not inspired by any requests I've received. A friend pointed out some years back that he used his blog to tell a group of people what he'd otherwise have to find each of them, tell each of them, individually. Fried Oysters
1 pint standard oysters, drained 3/4 cup self-rising flour or pancake mix 1 teaspoon baking powder salt and pepper to taste 1/2 cup evaporated milk vegetable oil, enough to fill frying pan 1 - 1 1/2 inch deep Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Stir milk into mixture to make a batter. Add oysters without liquor to the batter and coat thoroughly. Remove individual oysters with a fork and drop into hot oil in frying pan. (The oil is ready when a drop of water spatters upon contact with it.) Oysters will puff a few seconds after hitting the hot oil. Fry the puffs on both sides until golden. Yield: 30 to 40.

I am curious from you all how many people on your friends list on average that you actually have regular contact with?? I would say I have 10 I talk to very regularly, outside of that maybe 20 who pass nice comments and consistantly vote on my pics and show they like and acknowledge me.. There are a few who's opinions in their blogs and profiles and so on I truely enjoy and value as well. But the majority are on here to look pretty show off in pics and not have any substance really... I admit I too love to look at sexy pics but I try to relate to people over more than their pics.. But I value so much more entertaining conversation, intelligence, and similar interests and people who show genuine interest in my likes, thoughts and my personality.. I try to show attention as best I can in my busy lifestyle.. Friends I Will Catch When I Can!
I won't be in here as much as I like. I probably won't be able to post responses back quickly, because I have gone back to work. I have been off on early retirement from teaching school, really disability retirement but not having enough years at best it hardly met the bills. I found out as long as did not work for the school retirement system I could work at other things. So I am trying my hand at Wally's world, man it was a more rigorous interviews, and back ground checks than the public schools give employees. I figured it was about time that I did another blog. This one I will be ranting about things that have been happening to someone that I care deeply for. I have been asked not to do anything about the cause of the pain that I have been seeing. I have a hard time sitting back and not doing anything when I know that it is hurting others.
