A dear friend of mine just warned me to be careful today, that something "bad" was going to happen. He does have a certain amount of foresight! So, awhile back I posted a mumm about my friend jenny cheating on her husband. She confided in me and I told her that she would have to do some soul searching and decide who she wanted to be with. I find it very interesting that so many people are so quick to make friend requests and once you approve, you never hear from them again. Now I'm not an overly needy person who has to spend all of his time on the computer focused entirely on Myspace, Fubar and Yahoo Messenger for a social outlet. I am like most normal people who may keep Fubar running in the background while doing something else constructive (in my case I work at my office). I wouldn't expect that every person I meet on these social sites to send me some form of greeting or comment every day just as I could never hope to do that myself. It would be nice however when I send a hello to someone on my "Friends" list that they would at least have the decency to reply sometime within the next 7 or so times that they log on. It's not like you don't know someone is saying hello. If it was points that you wanted, then have the decency to just put it on your site that you are only looking for Fans, Adds and Comments for points.

The one thing in life we all need is friendship! Friendships are good because they help you when you are down. When you need someone to lean on. Etc. Yesterday I got some disturbing news while surfing the net with Butterfly . Growing up I had a good friend named Mike . Friend's 21st Birthday
Tonight is one of my best friends 21st birthday. We are going out shortly, which I can't believe I am going out on a Monday night since I have a 14 hour work day tomorrow but oh well. Recently I reconnected with an old friend from high school who I have not seen or talked to in 19 years. Her name is Catherine. She was someone who in my senior year in high school, I saw time and again. She was a vivacious, free spirited young woman captured my heart. We used to do just about everything together and it was always a joy to be around her and talking with her. The thing was is that I was a senior and she was two years behind me and to make a long story short, things didn't work out the way I would have liked them to turn out. I found her again while I was looking for old classmates for my 20th high school reunion next year. She had a link to a website where she now works, so I took a chance and emailed her. You see, I have tried to be available to all my friends when they need me, and with the exception of a couple of people on here, I can't get anyone's help or interest at all. Interesting how as you grow older, you view friends differently. And maybe even more, you choose friends differently. Here on fubar, there is no shortage of friends to choose from... but is that a reason to place less value on who we choose? As a kid, I always heard the saying... you are who you hang around with. SO alot has happened in my life since I was last on here. First I want you all to know I have missed many of you. You guys know who you are! At least you should. And if you don't I will let you know in the next couple of weeks as time permits. I spend my days working and being a mom. I find being a mom takes up alot of my time and energy. Not that I am complaining I love my son very much and wouldn't have it any other way but I have come to the conclusion that either the men here on the Cape suck or they just don't get me. Fried Oysters Wrapped In Bacon
2 servings 12 ea FRESH, SHUCKED OYSTERS (IN A 1/4 c OYSTER LIQUOR (FROM JAR) 1 ea BAY LEAF 1 ts WORCHESTERSHIRE SAUCE 4 ea SLICES (1/2 OZ. EACH) LEAN, 1/2 c UNBLEACHED WHITE FLOUR (IN A 2 ea EGGS (BEATEN IN A SMALL BOWL 1 c BREAD CRUMBS 2 c OIL (FOR FRYING) 12 ea TOOTHPICKS (FOR WRAPPING BAC In a 1 quart saucepan, on a medium flame, poach oysters in oyster liquor with bay leaf and Worchestershire (about 2 minutes, until the edges of the oysters curl). Remove oysters from liquor and set aside. Discard liquor. Cut bacon strips in thirds. Wrap each oyster with bacon and fasten with a toothpick. Roll in flour, dip in eggs, and then roll in bread crumbs. Heat oil in a 9 inch skillet. When oil smokes, reduce heat and fry oysters for 5 minutes. Drain on paper bag and serve immediately.

Fried Oysters
Fresh oysters are best, but you can use store bought ones if need be. Rinse an d dry well. Roll in bread crumbs, then beaten egg. Then in bread crumbs again . Fry oysters in butter until brown and well done. Season with salt, pepper a nd paprika to taste.

Friends, Trust And Honesty
It really hurts to find that someone you thought was your best friend, ends up being someone you don't even know. Especially when you are in a place where you don't really know that many people. You trust them with your inner most feelings, then they betray you. I have many firends here but one was a friend in RL as well. That person hurt me more than I thought I could ever be hurt again. I have been through alot of hurt un the last few years, but this has almost destroyed my faith in the word FRIEND. Maybe I am just nieve in thinking that there is really love and trust and faith out there. As much as I wish I could just turn off my feelings and not let things hurt me, I can't. Why can't everyone be honest and upfront? It really isn't that hard to do............

So how many of you truely think you have friends on this site? I mean I use this site to unwind from the day to day life here in IRAQ and then out of the blue fucking drama smashy the fucking internet world. Why do ppl feel the need to care who you have as friends on your page and what they say to you. I hate the fact that ppl judge you by the friends you have. If you dont like the friends I have then fuck off and I didnt need you as a friend to begin with. Cuz life is to fucking short to give a fuck about others. If you have a grudge or a complaint take it somewhere else cuz it aint worth the headache that comes along with it. If ppl here think im immature or whatever. Fuck it, cuz I still collect my paycheck at the end of the day, I will still keep the friends that are dear to my heart. And Im still going to have fucking fun while Im doing it. I wish everyone who has 1,000 fracken friends would tone it down a notch. We all have gotten all these so called 'friends' just for the points. Tell me out of all your friends just how many to you really keep in touch with? I got rid of a crapload of my friends just because these friends are so fake I might as well go back to porn at least I feel closer to Jamesen then to all these friends for points. It would appear, as with most site, we have a few spoilers in here. People that will become your friend only to gain points and ranking and then block you, with out ever viewing your page. I am getting tired of having such an empty list of friends...not sure why so many want to add me in the first place! Well for any who still read my blogs that I posted...I cleaned my list....and am going to do it again I am afraid!
