Ok so here is the thing. I really like fubar, there is not nearly the drama (that i have seen) on here as other sites such as myspace. I have come across far less B.S. on here then even Facebook. Ok, so what is Fubar about and what does it mean to me? Here's what I gather IMO: It's a social networking site with many subtle little features to keep ya coming back over and over, possibly at the expense of ur sleep patterns, even ur job if ur clocking in with Fubar on the brain! Fubar - A Personal Perspective
Hey, take a look at my profile page and see when I joined this...May 28, 2008. Here it is Dec 14 2008 and I am surprised a little that I am still on here. The only reason I signed on to this is because I had a friend DJing on here and wanted to see how she was doing. Fubar And Ratings
I haven't been on fubar long, just a few days as a matter of fact, but wanting to get points I have been jumping right on in their and trying to do ratings on people I run across. Therein lies the problem. I'm an honest person, most thing WAY too much so, as a matter of fact. My wife says that I am honest to the point and being cruel and sometimes passing that point completely. But I don't believe in little white lies and I don't believe in calling a pig's ear a silk purse....things are what they are and you might as well accept that fact. There is where the problem is. I have looked all around fubar, rating people and just looking at profiles....mainly of women, since I have no interest in men for either friends nor other distractions in life. What I find disturbs me about as bad as MySpace disturbs me, just in a more adult fashion. Ive recently carried out a little test by asking for Fubucks on my status, since yesterday I think. So I'm curious. Fubar Boredom
I have the urge to blog about this, so a blogging I will go! This morning I signed onto fubar and had 7 friend requests and today's rank #260. Now I'm not a vain person. It's not my style. But some things about fubar have become blatantly obvious. When I have a blast going I get 100+ friend requests a day. I also generally get ranked in the top 50 (daily ranks). People shout and pm me much less when I don't have a blast running. I spend hours a day rating hundreds to thousands of pictures a day (depending on how much free time I have. I rate and fan all my new friend requests. I bling people when I can. I've even been known to blast people. I spend most of my time on here helping others. Well, it is official, you can not get people to come to your page, unless you have Auto 11's. It seems that Fubar has changed into Auto 11 world. If you don't have them, you may as well not even log in. People will not rate someone with out them, let's face it, they want the extra points from the 11's. Does NE1 here know the difference between FuBar and a school teacher? Even the LEAST tactful school teacher knows that you don't punish the whole class when you catch 1 or 2 people cheating! Fubar Not Fun Anymore?!
We all know I LOVE to rant. So this is my rant and I'm sticking to it! Fubar Admin is always working hard to add new FUN features to the site. I thank them for that. It provides me with hours of entertainment. I've come to realize that it's not Fubar that is ruining the fun. It's the members. Fubar Admin has found ways to help the PAYING members to gather points faster to help them level. One of those ways is Auto 11s. An Auto 11 costs $30 and gives you the ability to receive 11s for every rate you get in a 24 hour period. Sound great right? It is a great feature. However! Members have found a way to ruin it. They load up their profiles with 2000 photos of ez rates and expect people to spend their time rating all that. It's not fun. It's a grueling task. Why would I want to waste hours rating some greedy person's 2000 photos and not get the same love back? It's selfish. But if that wasn't enough they took it another step and figured out a flaw in the rating system that allowed me

It really irks me when people on here get into packs. So I recently had my ability to set personalized status messages removed. No explanation why, they just did it. I have been emailing bouncers, babyj, and support with no answer. After leveling to 21 after more than a damn year i come to realize Fubar really needs to change. The points system is so crazy only point whores can possibly get the upper level. A normal user like me will have to be on for years and years to ever reach a higher level. Maybe that's the plan to buy a VIP to make it I guess. With this in mind I bring you this novel fact about Fubar you may or may not have known. I actually found out thanks to Bright Eyed Artist. Want to clean out the dead weight in your account and get a much more accurate number of actual friends you have? Go to my friends, see all, then click the last number on the amount of pages you have ( for example it says on the left 1, you start at the number on the right, for example 1100.) Click on that number and start hitting “previous” until you get down to the last page. You will notice your friend count drop drastically since the dead pages are being eliminated from the count. It works I did it for awhile today myself… .

2012 - Fubar And Real Life Year In Review.
Well kids it's that time of the year again. It's almost the end of 2012 and it's time to take a look back at some of the things that happened this year that of course, are memorable in real life and here on Fubar.com.. ...I took a quick look at my blogs over the past year or so (what little there was compared to previous years) and here's some of the at least Fubar related things that stuck out... 1. Massive amounts of fake profiles. It's funny actually considering all of the work we have put in here over the years. You would think after nearly 7 years (yes, I know) that people would wise up. What does it really mean? Well we all know it's suppose to be an adult site. Which at times it is. Other times it's like MYSPACE gone wild. Fubar Connect. I noticed this today when I signed in, I can't really say how long it has been there, but it is new and I like it. For the menu-ally challenged, this can be located in the thin menu box on the right hand side under "Connect." Click it and you get a menu option. Hit the green button and it will take you to a list of pages with big pictures that link to peoples' profiles. My FAVORITE part about this is the big blue phototag on the screen that says "Has Salute!" And this cannot be bastardized for rates and points like other things are. Which I also like and is usually the downfall of other attempts at this made before. So it's something new. You don't need to be mobile to use it either. Just figured I would share. Fubar, it is the one site that I am able to voice whatever I choose. I do not fear any negative consequences as I do not have any clients or business associates on here, to my knowledge anyways.
