Love
Body: Wow there were never more truer word's spoken. I have been in that position once upon a time. Dave what if there is that true soulmate out there, and you sell yourself to that one that put's you on a pedestal.What happens? I will tell you what happens my friend. Many years later when you are both absolutely miserable you are back to square one older,tired and oh so caustious.
Even if this person would die for you now eventually they know you settled. Because if one person doesn't feel it it's not fair to the other or both really. Yes you can grow to love and respect anyone. But you always wonder what if...................
Now at 42 I regret accepting the "ONE" who went un noticed.I don't regret the "love" that I really did feel for this man or the sacrafices he made to make my life happy. But 15 years later we are both wondering why didn't we hold out for the "ONE".
Now back to the real question what if there isn't a "ONE". What if life is who and what you make it !
Maybe we should all look for common bond's,common attraction's friend's first lover's later.
Well the point is there is no answer life and love is a mystery that will never be solved. There is no gain without pain.LIfe is what you make it . Make your's the best!

Body: We have someone in our lives who only wants us to be there everything and would do anything for us, yet we ignore that for the something better. The one who we dream of the one we want to sweep us off our feet. The one who we believe will complete us. Is he/she really the one is he really everything we think he/she is? Why do we feel so strongly that this man/woman and only this person is the one who can make us whole? What is so special about this one person? What special talents,charms, powers, does this one person hold? Why are they up on that pedestal? Is there any way to bring them down off of it with out losing their friendship all together? And why cant we just accept that a friendship is all they want? Is there anyway for us to replace the one on that pedestal with the one who placed us on a pedestal?
It's funny how we go through our lives hungering for the one? We believe most of our lives that there is ONE person who is Meant for us. We go on a quest for this ONE and never seem to find them. Or at least we never seem to find the right ONE. For instance, we find the one we believe is the ONE and we do everything we can to make them see they are the ONE and yet they never get the hint. Or if they do they tell us we are their Best friend and they dont want to mess that up. So we wait, we pine, and we wait somemore. Then one day we say look this is how I feel this is what i would like and this is what you need to realize. And again they say we are just friends.
Now back to that one who we have but just cant see it. The whole time we are waiting and pining we have this one who is reaching out to us. Who is constantly there who is loving us unconditionally. Who will never hurt us or leave us. Who only wants to make a lasting life with us. They believe we are their ONE. And the circle for them is the same as it is for us. They love us, We love someone else, and that someone else loves someone else. It is vicious. It is hurtful. And in the end we end up with no one. How do we do it? Why do we do it? Is there a way to break the cycle?
If you are reading this please dont take it to be about you. Its not about anyone but everyone. I have noticed this with my friends how they always have that one who loves them and yet they dream of someone else and well u read it you know how the cycle is. I didnt write this about me or any one friend. I wrote this for all of my friends who let the ONE get away. It is meant to be an eye opener. To make you stop and think and evaluate your situation. Not to make anyone think that they arent loved but to let everyone know that they are loved if only they open their eyes to it. LOVE is there waiting to be found, felt, and returned.
