First off, I understand everyone makes a slip up every now and again with regards to grammar and the correct word usage. Lately, I can't seem to keep one and won straight--damn homonyms (not palindromes--see, I'm an idiot too). But I actively correct it or do the obligatory facepalm for that brief moment of "D'oh"-ness. But some people... It's blatantly obvious that they haven't a clue. This is for those people, since third grade grammar appears to have escaped their knowledge base. /Start rant. When you say "your welcome", YOU'RE wrong. It's "you're welcome" as in the contraction of the words "you" and "are". It's not their Welcome, as in a welcome belonging to them. Speaking of "their"--that shows possession. "There" is a place. "They're" is a contraction of "They are". Example: They're living in their house over there. It's really quite simple if you take the time to THINK about it. Another one: Bear and bare. Bear is an animal. It also means to take on a burden.

But I work with numbers, and just recently have discovered that I can't process numbers in English when someone dictates them to me without translating them into Russian first. I first heard of the 23 enigma from William S Burroughs, author of Naked Lunch, Nova Express, etc. According to Burroughs, he had known a certain Captain Clark, around 1960 in Tangier, who once bragged that he had been sailing 23 years without an accident. That very day, Clark’s ship had an accident that killed him and everybody else aboard. Furthermore, while Burroughs was thinking about this crude example of the irony of the gods that evening, a bulletin on the radio announced the crash of an airliner in Florida, USA. The pilot was another captain Clark and the flight was Flight 23.Burroughs began collecting odd 23s after this gruesome synchronicity, and after 1965 I also began collecting them. I am shocked and amazed by two deaths this week. No I am not talking about Anna Nicole. Two of my close friends lost someone this week. A girl I used to work with lost her brother several months after finding out he had brain cancer. He was a great guy I met him a couple of times. It was so unexpected. The doctors gave him 6 months to live. He made it almost a year. I feel bad for the family and their loss. He was only in his thirties or early forties. The second passing just happened this morning I think. A friend of mines mother passed away unexpectedly. She had been sick for the past week, with what seemed to be a stomach virus. She was a frail woman to begin with. It is just shocking and so unexpected. She was only in her fifties or early sixties. It makes you think about how unexpected your life can end. Memorial days is one of those forced holidays. Its not necessarily a time to go out cause everyone is out and about. Alot has been changing for me and well its actually making me happy for once for myslef. Things were hard for me in the past but thats now changing its ways! Things have slowly gotten better for me as time progresses! I have someone in my life that really cares about me and wants to trully be a part of my life! The funny thing is that he and my ex have been getting along somewhat! They have both been picking on me because they say that I am beginning to look pregnant but am unsure! I am only in the beginning of my second month without mother nature visiting but I am gainning weight plus hardly able to eat alot! The weird thing is that I have already had a pregnancy test done( both urine and blood) both came out negative! James is saying its too early to trully tell so I guess its back to maturnity clothes unless something changes for me soon!

I want to enlist again so bad. I miss putting on that uniform every morning. Never in my life had I felt more proud of myself, then I did every morning looking in the mirror. SO.....August 4th I went into the recruiters office to get the ball rolling and I still Haven't even gone for my physical. All due to the fact that my discharge is total BUNK. There is a form missing from my DD-214 packet that was supposed to be included, but instead there is a typed up letter in it's place. That missing form is whats holding me back right now, and it could take a month for the recruiter to get it from the personnel on FLW. Meanwhile, bills aren't getting paid, I've run out of money, I'm living off hand outs and left overs from friends and family. All because the job market is flooded with people looking for work. I went in to apply for a job monday and the add had only been in the paper 2 days and while I filled out the application 15 other people came in and picked up applications. So far the only interview offer I've had was for an insurance company that would require me to get a license and pay for it myself. So much for trying not to be a burger

Hey...just an update to those who actually care. I have finally making a decision....I will be enlisting in the National Guard Reserve next month unless something comes up.
