Hardships
I know at times things are rough but hey we made it this far, why not keep trying right? I don't know what I would do without you... we have history.how many years now? These past few months haven't been easy in anyway. We are always going to have our differences and thats just part of it. We have grown in our own and we want different things in life but thats one of the things we still need to tweak. Sometimes I just want to give up on trying because I think that it would make things so much easier and then I stop. I look back at all the good times and some of the hard- in your own way you have been there for me thick and thin and I love you for that. No matter where we are or how far apart just remember that i am always thinking of you!

I just posted this blog but it disappeared. Oh well here it goes again. So I got a call from my BFF (Miss Brittany ) today saying that she went to the doctor to get her hand checked out and to see if she is going to need surgery for her carpel tunnel. It turns out she only has Tendinitis as she will just need Physical therapy. So she leaves a little earlier than expected and she has 30 minutes to spare. She was in Beverly Hills so she happens to walk by a Roberto Cavalli boutique and next thing you know, within 30 minutes she spends $9000.00 (That's nine thousand dollars for those people who think I it was a typo.) Time For A Change

This is hard to believe! This may be a first... A couple in Northern California were out riding on the range, he with his rifle and she (fortunately) with her camera. Life's Lessons
Tonight I was playing video games in the truck stop and I kept hearing someone making noises that sounded like they were having their own one person party. I turned to look and saw a little chubby Mexican guy playing the free machine. He was hooping it up every time that his little game character did anything, including dieing. I kind of shook my head and chuckled. That's when he noticed me laughing and decided to talk to me. Long story short, in his broken English, he gave his life story to me over dinner. He had only recently became a citizen in the US. He worked 41 years of his adult life to be here legally. He told me of his struggles in Mexico, and the things he and his family had gone through to do things the right way. Some of the stories he told brought tears to my eyes. To sum it all up, and not bore you to tears, the man made me take a minute to be thankful for the life I have. I think we should all meet someone like Alejandro at least once in our life just to remind us

Going Away

The big news around here lately is a teacher who has been forced to remove his bible from his desk. He has had it there for years..but all of a sudden its a crime. He also had the 10 commandments hanging in his room. I can understand them asking him to remove that..but I feel its his right to have a bible on his desk. If hes not thumping it..and its not bothering anyone. Anyways.. I started thinking on this subject since I read a little about it two days in a row on the front page. Theres kids supporting him and all here. I kinda understand his side of it..but then got to wondering..why does he really need it on his desk? Why can't he just put it in his desk..if he knows it bothers people? Then he will have it there for himself..but not in plain sight. Is he really that much of a believer? Although then I am thinking.. does God really want us to hide our faith? Either way.. it is something to ponder!

THIS IS NOT THE 'DON'T BUY' GAS FOR ONE DAY, BUT IT WILL SHOW YOU HOW WE CAN GET GAS BACK DOWN TO $2.00 PER GALLON. The Beast!
As if I didn't have enough stuff to fix around here.. I went and bought a 1982 Ford Bronco 4x4 with a 351w V8 in it for a 'huntin buggy' LMAO. I couldn't pass it up. Body is solid, engine runs...not great, but it runs. Needs major interior work. So I paid $300 for it... like I said, I couldn't pass the deal up. So far I've changed the oii, flushed the radiator, and changed the transmission fluid (which I found out had NEVER been changed.. YIKES..) Put in new spark plugs, a new accelerator pump diaphragm in the carburetor, and set the timing with a borrowed timing light. It at least fires up and runs without as much hesitation as when I bought it. I still need to figure out all the vacuum hoses that are missing or disconnected and plugged up, drop the fuel tank and check it for rust (which I should have done BEFORE putting fuel in it..) change the fluids in the transfer case and differentials. Also need to replace ALL the U-Joints and shocks. I hope at that point I will at least

O.k., for those of you that have talked to me atleast once- this is my new hobby. I have rescently slowed down my drinking very heavily- almost to an abrupt halt. I have found a new hobby. It is paintballing. I get to put my ex-wifes head on all of my targets (which are all guys) and shoot the crap out of them. It does sting but its alot cheaper than going to the bar and wasting my paychecks there. Confusion

Trying To Keep My Chin Up...

So wow.. things have definately come full circle. I'm happy these days... very happy. Tragic Car Accident
Hello everyone.... This is a sudden update to say that someone I personally knew got killed in a car accident. I didn't have a direct relationship with her, but she was my dad's best friend's daughter, Haley, who was only 14. How is it that the IRS does absolutely NOTHING when you report someone for illegally claiming your kids on their tax return? We are getting ready here for the snowbird migration back to Colorado Springs. Eeeek! I'm down to only one more pack of cigarettes. I'm already trying to come up with rationalizations of why one more pack won't hurt me. I've yet to break the seal on that final pack yet. I have a carton of Marlboro Light 100 cigarettes on the kitchen counter. The plan - such as it is - is to finish that carton and then go cold turkey. Perhaps about a week to finish them up. I'm not sure if it's tired more than just sheer boredom and or the constant feeling of being down. Sometimes the feeling of being down turns into anger, but it usually ends back where it started.
