This time in my life
Starting over again
at this time in my life
was not someting
I ever thought I would have to do
I thought i had found love
that would last to the end of time
but here I am
looking at the faces of strangers
hoping to find in their eyes
the light that would tell me
that we are meant to be together
A kind loving face
with a smile that would
erase the troubles of the day
soft warm arms
in which to lose all track of time
as the world passes by
We each have our pasts
things we have done
the lives we have lived
and lessons learned
but the past is gone
and cannot be changed
This time in my life
is a time for a fresh start
new beginings to a new life
new love and a new forever
