Tufts Of Fur
Yesterday, my roommates cat Gotti was extra vicious while squabbling with my cat, Mr. Newton. Not only did he sit on top of him, UFC "ground and pound" style, but he was biting and pulling the fur out by his neck, maybe even going for the jugular. He had tufts of white fur in his mouth, and a maniacal look in his eyes when I pulled them apart. I had initially thought taking this cat on would be easy for me. I am a cat person, and since my other cat Ahviendha "ran away" and my doggie Mr. Rags has gone to heaven, I felt it would be good for Mr. Newton to have a playmate. The problem, or at least my biggest estimation of it, is that Gotti is not neutered. I am the only female in the house, and I think Gotti thinks I am a cat too, since I am randomly heard "hissing"...when I spray air freshener, lmfao. (He hisses back, btw...It's pretty funny) He is trying to beat up his competition, which is my poor Mr. Newton (who long ago lost his nukas), thereby winning my affections. The result

They were badly frightened by a snake nest that lay by the water and ran home. A year later, one of the boys had to be hospitalized. Plagued by stomach cramps, he complained of constant hunger and was unable to gain weight. The doctor pumped his stomach and found a fully grown snake coiled inside!

Tummy Yummy Cookies in a Jar 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup quick oats 1/2 cup Rice Krispies 1/2 cup chocolate chips 1/2 cup toffee bits (I used Heath milk chocolate toffee bits) 1/2 cup pecans 1-1/2 cups flour, mixed with 1 tsp. baking powder Layer ingredients in order given in a 1 qt. WIDE MOUTH jar, pressing each layer firmly in place. Attach directions to jar. DIRECTIONS TO ADD TO LABEL: Cookie mix 1 stick butter or margarine 1 egg, slightly beaten 1 tsp. vanilla Empty cookie mix into a large bowl. Use hands to blend the mix. Add the butter, egg and vanilla and mix until completely blended. You will need to finish mixing with your hands. Shape into walnut sized balls placing 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheets. (These will stay in the ball shape, if you prefer a flatter cookie, press down a little on each ball with the palm of your hand.) Bake at 350 for 13-15 minutes until edges of cookies are lightly browned. Cool 5 minutes on cookie sheets then remove to racks to finis

3 cans tuna, drained 8 oz. cream cheese, softened 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 stalks celery 2 tbsp. minced onion Garlic salt to taste Pepper Parsley 2 loaves thin slice sandwich bread Mix all ingredients in food processor. Use 2 loaves of thin sandwich bread, cut crusts off bread and cut into quarters. Makes about 100 party sandwiches.

Bring water to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes. Drain, rinse in cold water, and chill in the refrigerator. When chilled, peel and finely chop. Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise and mustard. Add the egg, tuna, celery, and onion flakes. Place halved English muffins on a baking pan. Top with mixture, dividing equally, then top with cheese and other muffin halves. Bake for 5 minutes, or until cheese melts. Cook and drain pasta shells as directed on package. Rinse with cold water; drain. 2. While pasta is cooking, in medium bowl, mix all vinaigrette ingredients just until blended. Set aside. 3. 6 oz can tuna (in water) 2 hard boiled eggs 1 T dried minced onion 1 T heaping pickle relish mayonnaise Drain tuna well, mix in other ingredients. Add mayonnaise to consistency desired. Best if chilled overnight before serving.

1-2/3 cup can evaporated milk 1 cup (12 small) coarsely crumbed soda crackers 1 (8-oz.) can whole kernel corn 1 tbsp. instant minced onion 1 tbsp. instant parsley flakes 1/8 tsp. oregano, savory or thyme 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1 (6-1/2-oz.) can tuna Paprika Pour milk over crackers in bowl. Let stand to soften. Stir in corn, seasonings, lemon juice and tuna. Turn into 2 (1-pt.) casseroles. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 375ºF. for 20 minutes. Serves 2

A quick inexpensive recipe that is good and good for you. Ingredients 1 6-oz. can tuna (in water) 1 lg. egg 1 Tbs. onion, finely minced (optional) 1/2 tsp. salt 15 saltine crackers, finely crushed 2 Tbs. vegetable oil 2 Tbs. butter (optional) Directions Squeeze water out of tuna or allow to drain in sieve for 10 minutes. Mix first four ingredients together thoroughly (don't worry if it is a little wet). Place cracker crumbs in flat plate or on waxpaper. Form three or four football shaped lumps and throughly coat each with the crumbs. Squeeze gently to bring the egg out and make the crumbs adhere better. Put oil and butter into medium frying pan and bring to medium heat. Place the croquettes into pan and cook slowly until golden brown. The sides will flatten out while cooking. You can make them 3 sided or 4 sided but don't turn too much as they are fragile. Serving Size 2 Preparation Time 10 minutes Cooking Time 10-15 minutes

An interesting variation on pigs in a blanket Ingredients 6 oz. can tuna in water, drained 2 Tbs. mayonnaise 8 oz. tube refrigerated crescent rolls, separated 4 slices American chess seasonings to taste Directions Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix tuna, mayonnaise, and seasonings together and set aside. Arrange crescents on an ungreased baking sheet, set aside. Fold cheese slices and break into 2 pieces, place 1 piece on each crescent. Spread one tablespoon of the tuna mixture over cheese, then roll up the crescent. Bake for 12 minutes. Preparation Time 10 minutes Cooking Time 12 minutes

Combine the tuna, teriyaki sauce, bread crumbs, and egg whites in a bowl until well combined, and no large pieces of tuna remain. Season with black pepper, garlic, and hot sauce. Well, the FuMafia turf is supposed to be a family....a support. Which is why you pay so much of our money as terrif. Well, two you can surely not count on is TAC and Spartaaa. Had a guy go cry to Spartaaa because I BH him once and they sat there for 15 mins listening to the jerk. The bird is in oven. Kids are going out to play with dog. It is so wonderful to have them all home for the next few days. A big, full house of happy kids, parents and puppy. Well I got to spend some more quality time with my baby! It always seem to go by so fast... I picked him up at midnite on thursday. Then we drove to my house took a nap and spent the rest of the day with Grandma. My parents, my brother, uncle and grandma were all there. It was a great day... no one fought, there was good food. 10 to 12 pound turkey Salt 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted Kettle or Covered Charcoal Grill: 1. Thaw and prepare turkey for roasting as directed on package; remove giblets from neck and body cavities. DO NOT STUFF. Season cavity with salt; brush skin with melted butter. 2. Prepare grill, placing coals to one side; heat until coals are ash white. Make aluminum foil drip pan; place opposite hot coals. Place top grilling rack over coals and drip pan. Yesterday US Pres. GW Bush (R-TX) pardoned two turkeys named "May" and "Flower" as to presidential tradition set by Fmr. US Pres. Abe Lincoln (R-IL). Well this "tradition" is somewhat of a fraud. See, the turkeys are raised on a turkey farm especially to be pardoned by the sitting US president. They were never raised to be eaten at all, but to look good on tv. I found this a bit of a let down. I always thought that the turkeys spared were from actual turkey farms that raised them to be food. Thus, the turkeys were being pardoned from almost being dinner. You know learning that Santa and Easter Bunny weren't real was hard on me as a kid. But learning this as an adult is a real downer.

Turkey Bulgur Pilaf Here's an easy way to give pizzazz to your Thanksgiving leftovers without much effort. If you're going the extra mile and making turkey broth, use it in place of the chicken stock. Credit: Wen Zientek Servings: 6 Ingredients: * 1 cup sliced mushrooms * 1/2 cup cracked wheat bulgur * 1/2 cup chopped onion * 2 tablespoons oil * 1 1/4 cups chicken stock * 1 cup diced cooked turkey * 1/4 cup nuts, coarsely chopped * 2 tablespoons chopped parsley * 2 teaspoons lemon juice * 1/8 teaspoon dried mint * Salt and pepper to taste Directions: Saute the mushrooms, bulgur and onion in the oil until the onion is tender and the bulgur is golden brown. Add the stock and bring to boil. Simmer, covered, for about 20 minutes, or until all of the stock is absorbed and the bulgur is tender. so here I am looking back a week after turning 50. Was it so bad, No Way. Do I feel over the hill, No Way. My how we change the way we see things as we get older. he initial phases of acclimating myself to my new surroundings are going well. It is always interesting to go to a completely new place. I used to watch my cats go around and sniff the new spots to get the scent then promptly spray in order to mark territory. Funny, but humans do the same thing to some degree. Today I turn the page to a new outlook on life.I've been told I worry about the little things and you know what those people have been right.So today I start a new page in my life. I dont know where to start.... I love her, and now shes gone. She was my first thought in the morning and the last thought at Night, she was my Princess, she was my Marina. "It just kind of happened" It started all so innocent, a few laughs, sharing pictures. Then I was waking up early so I could talk to her for as long as possible before I had to go to work. Turn For The Worse (from The Bulletin Board)
Just left the hospital a bit ago and my son is not doing so well...He took a turn for the worse last night and his potassim is not going up but down..They have him on both his orals and IV drip but cant seem to get it to do what it needs to do..He is barely able to walk because he is so weak...They are given him pain meds every 2 hours and it dont seem to help much...Please keep praying and asking Jesus to send us a kidney soon as my son can't last much longer like this.... You all might or might not care. but I turned in my final research paper in my History class. I got a 45 out of a possible 50 on it. Still don't know what I got on my prior paper.
