SWEET POISON! A MUST READ! In October of 2001, my sister started getting very sick. She had stomach spasms and she was having a hard time getting around. Walking was a major chore. It took everything she had just to get out of bed; she was in so much pain. By March 2002, she had undergone several tissues and muscle biopsies and was on 24 various prescription medications. The doctors could not determine what was wrong with her. She was in so much pain, and so sick she just knew she was dying. She put her house, bank accounts, life insurance, etc., in her oldest daughter's name, and made sure that her younger children were to be taken care of. Some days it hits me harder than others. Alot of my friends on here know that my daughter Makayla was diagnosed with Leukemia in June of last year. She was only 15 months. In about 2 weeks she will begin 2 months of pretty intense chemotherapy before going on to her maitenance phase. I have had an awful day today. Thinking about how she has been through and how she knows much more about hospitals and chemotherapy and needles that any 2 year old should know and understand. Please Read My Update ......
Hi If you have read my previous blog you will know that my mum has recently had surgery for cancer. We were told originally that the cancer was contained and it was all removed during the surgery. We have since learned that this was not the case and the cancer had infact spread to at least one lymph node and now my mum has to go through chemo once again (she had breast cancer 4 years ago which spread and she had to have 6 months of aggressive chemotherapy which made her extremely ill). She is due to see her consultant in a few days and we should know exactly whats what then. Please keep her in your prayers and keep your fingers crossed for a positive outcome. Thanks for reading. My friend jessica's son has had several medical problems since birth, well he is in ICU again. Please pray for him. he is on 17 months old. thanks Stacy Hey I was just writing to inform you that Hayden was admitted to Egleston CHOA on Sunday because of high fever (107.9, to be exact. And yes, it can go that high, unknown to me) He was intubated because of his difficulty breathing and right now is stable but sedated and paralyzed. All we know at this point is that he had a septic infection going on (affecting all his vital organs) and making his little body extremely sick. We're still monitoring his blood pressure, heart rate, and temp, as all have been going up and down on a regular basis. We're waiting on blood cultures to come back to see exactly what type of infection he has, but up to this point we still haven't heard anything from the lab. Please keep Hayden in your prayers - BIG TIME. Please tell your churches and friends to pray for him... he's never been this unstable,

My brother. 8 years in the British Army, one tour in Kosovo, 3 tours in Iraq, shot, bled and almost died for this country.
