Random Thoughts......
It seems that I trust others way to easily and to quickly...which can be a blessing and it can be a problem as well. Its great to be that way, to see the good in everyone...but it also sets me up for heart ache. The internet is a wonderful tool to make friends and to meet new people. But, it can also bring heartbreak. It gets even scarier when you trust those that you determine your friends. I'm kinda at a cross roads now...not sure what to think of a situation. My Health

Oh, there's MUCH more to know about Sheriff Joe! Maricopa County was spending approx. $18 million dollars a year on stray animals, like cats and dogs. Sheriff Joe offered to take the department over, and the County Supervisors said okay. The animal shelters are now all staffed and operated by prisoners. They feed and care for the strays. Every animal in his care is taken out and walked twice daily. He now has prisoners who are experts in animal nutrition and behavior. They give great classes for anyone who'd like to adopt an animal. He has literally taken stray dogs off the street, given them to the care of prisoners, and had them place in dog shows. The best part? His budget for the entire department is now under $3 million. Teresa and I adopted a Weimaraner from a Maricopa County shelter two years ago. He was neutered, and current on all shots, in great health, and even had a microchip inserted the day we got him. Grrr at this van. The van wouldn't start for rick the other day and it turned out that a light was left on over night. Blah...
going to the docs today to get an ultrasound on my thyroid....during a doc visit they found the left thyroid was much bigger than the left. I went in the first place because I woke up about 2 Saturdays ago with extreme dizziness. It was so bad I fell. Happy that the bed was underneath me. Well went to our after-hours and they diagnosed me with having fluid in my ear, gave me a script for meclizine and sent me home. I had to sleep for the next week w/ 2 pillows under my head and in an almost sitting position for my vertigo to cease. What a terrible week. The 2nd week was not as bad. Just couldn't sleep on my right side with out the room spinning, and thats my fav side to sleep on. I called my doc and told him I still have the symptoms even though they are not as bad now. He is sending me to get an ultrasound and bloodwork done on my thyroid. I get that done today. Hope I am dying a slow death or something to joke about. I hope I am is not dying or something lol j/k I know it is not funn

My mom in law passed away today and it has been a long hard two weeks. She walks now with no pain and a smile on her face. Though this thought is comforting I am sooooo sad and will miss her so very much. Thank you to the people who sent me their warm wishes I appreaciate it more than you know. Dawn wooohooo, my daughter gave birth this afternoon to a 7 lb 12 oz baby boy and he was 21 inches long. They are both doing great and I am a very proud Lala (grandma) Hello my fubar friends. This is a Monday I thought I would be able to sleep in but no......a kid called for Christopher early this morning 2 times! I am tired and sore and in need of some strong coffee! February 11-12, 2008 Winter Storm Blogs
Here we go one more time! Ice has moved back into NKY. Right now, the airport in Hebron, KY has 29 and freezing rain. Refreezing taking place...the freezing rain should change to all snow by the time we get to 11pm, and maybe another inch or so will accumulate. Tomorrow...some schools will delay, a few in NKY will close due to the re-freeze, but not as extensive as today was. This is pretty much going to be a wrap for my winter storm coverage...if you've been reading, thanks! Right now, we have some light snow here. Should catch a break until about 10pm and then the real fun begins. One school district has already closed for tomorrow...Carroll County, KY schools. We still have major ice problems east of downtown Cincinnati. We have 2013 Duke Energy customers with no power. That's primarily on the west side. Things could break up from the west later this morning...if we catch a break it'll be short-lived because we still have a long way to go before this is all over.

Don't always follow what your heart tells you to do. Use common sense and judgement. Hearts can feel and mislead as well as our brain. Don't let people use you...it's a tell tale sign that someone is not totally into you if you're feeling pushed away more and more each day. Why waste the energy and time to just end up in worse heartache. Don't always assume that the words "I love you" will fix everything. Why do we as a society continue to punish ourselves and our hearts by being there for people who are not totally committed to us? If the other person can not be totally and brutally honest about everything going on in their life, then it's not worth the time. My manger talked to me today. The "Employee Evalution/Review" I passed pretty much across the board,with room for improvement. There is always room to get better so i'm cool with that. He admitted I was overdue for a raise, and that it was his fault. SO By the end of this week, it shoud be effective. The amount of my raise I don't know yet, BUT that particular detail has to be decided by my manger, and "Suit" above him. BUT I am getting a raise!

Things I've Learned In A Month
***(I know no one will probably read this, because it's just stupid mindless chatter. But it's not written for any other reason than to get it out of my head. When we bought our 06 BMW we noticed that there was terrible road noise and a vibration in the wheel. I called the dealership and they said dont worry about it. They told me that it was the run flat tiers and that is what they do. OK I thought to myself, you spend all that cash and you get a loud ass car? My other BMW didnt have that problem! So I go to wash my BMW and I see that the tires in the front are worn completely out on the outside edges. I call the dealership and they tell me it is the alignment and that I must have hit something. I was to bring it in and pay $400 for the alignment and another 300 bucks per tire. The Koala And The Lizard

My Grandfather
I 1st met my grandpa when i was in 2nd grade at least when i could 1st recall meeting him. He was a hard core drinker. Also had a world of knowledge to pass on to me. This Life Of Mine 21
It is a beautiful morning. It has been rather warm for days now and I love it! I think it was 68 degrees yesterday! It feels like Spring already. It might be short lived but I will enjoy it while it lasts. I had a lot of fun over the weekend dancing up a storm at a wedding. I am able to walk with less limp today. I can not believe that dancing can cause that much pain afterwards. Apparently my brain still thinks I am young and my body knows I am not! Tonight is our parent class and I am looking forward to it. They have such good advise with dealing with strong willed teens. I can say that Anthony is really trying to improve. Results Of The Paternity Test.
I called the courthouse today to find out whats been going on with the results of the paternity test for me and my daughter....i was instructed to call the department of revenue, i was then told by the representitive that my wife ashleigh did not show up with the baby for the test, she also did not show for the 2nd appointment that was made....the case has been dismissed......after hearing all this i really do believe the child is not mine....My ex didnt want everyone to know the truth....i can now go forward with a clear conscience.
