Special Olympics Torch Run
3/31 did a lil charity ride. Started at Chesters Harley in Mesa and rode to Scottsdale for bike week. WOW!!! There were 1600 bikes with police escort, miles of bikes. Some of the folks in cars trying to get on to the road's we were riding on sure looked upset. Was a great ride!! Raised alot of $$ for Special Olympics. That night at bike week Foreigner was in concert and donated 1/4 of the cd sales to Special Olympics also. Was a Great Time!!

I KNOW I have the best online friends and the number of get well comments, messages and gifts just proves that. You guys are amazing. I was so sick with a stomach virus yesterday and couldn't take it any more that I finally checked myself into the hospital yesterday bout 9pm. They did vitals and I was so in distress that my normally perfect blood pressure was sky high and had a slight fever. I got med's and IV and stayed with them till early in the morning. I don't know if any of you actually ever heard of Deseret industries,otherwise known as DI. You do have to be a good chooser when shopping there,it's a thrift store and they have quite a bit of stuff. Looking into clothes is fairly interesting,I've been able to find 70$ 80$ dollars value woolen items for less then 10$,sometimes even 4$!!!!!!! I'm a bit of a scottish pattern skirts freak,so if you like those,there's quite a few,just don't take em all , and leave some for me to buy :D have a good day ya'll if you ever shopped there,let me know what you think! comments appreciated.

So last night Emmerson woke up screaming. She must of had a bad dream I'm guessing. She was so upset she was hyper ventalating. Special Happy Hour
I have a HH set for 5pm PDT on Thurs. It's in honor of my friend's father who is battling non-hodgkins lymphoma cancer. They did a petscan last week and found out that the cancer had moved from around his spleen to his groin/neck. Needless to say he was upgraded from a Stage 2 to a Stage 3. This is very discouraging news to hear when you are about to do your first chemo treatments. And for the nay sayers, I know this won't fix anything, but it is definitely a coping mechanism for us.
