I just wrote this one tonight (finished it about 10 minutes ago) so I haven't come up with a title yet (in fact, this is the first time I'm typing it out). It's the first new poem that I've written in a very long time. Why do these things always come to be when I want to be sleeping? LOL The higher I climb, the deeper I fall. Doing whatever I can just to stall the inevitable realization that I'm lost behind the imaginary line that I've crossed. No rescue in sight, no plan of attack. Hoping against hope that I'll find my way back. Biding and wasting my time until then and wondering how this could have happened again.

A New Place
Well, its been 6 years since i joined the navy and i have seen a lot of things and done a lot of stuff. From launching missles into iraq and doing security operations in and around the oil platforms and in the river, to chasing pirates of somalia. All these things were hard but the hardest thing i have had to face is coming up around the bend. On Friday i become a Navy Recruiter. and on saturday morning i begin the long trek to my new home of helena, MT. its going to be a great trip and i will keep you posted

hey folks, in the very near future we'll be replacing the old private message system with our cherry email stuff. you won't have to do anything to cut over, but i wanted to give everyone a heads up because really old private messages will be gone when we move to the cherry mail system. if you have anything older than a couple days in your current private message inbox that you really want to keep, i suggest you save it (cut & paste or screen shot) to your computer.. when we cut over to cherry mail for private messages, it will include all your PM's over the last few day, but nothing older. also, the weird behavior of the yellow 'unread messages' alert in your alert box is a side effect of us migrating to the new cherry mail system. once we cut over, that weird behavior should go away (and be replaced with all new weird behavior, yay!). ps: i'm still working on the shoutbox... /sigh. pps: we have some sweet new home pages which are almost completed, everyone will have the

The other day we had something like a piercing party at my house, i got my nose pierced and my belly done three times so now i have 4 belly rings and then i went and got a heart tattoo i have on my arm filled in, it still hurts, i cant wait for it to heal... im tired of worring about it! so yeah i am through with the piercings.. all together i have 14 holes !!

so yeah a random two of you that read this saw me there last night, SP was definitely entertaining... and my ears are still ringing actually which im kinda suprised/freaked out about hahaha... the opener who i still have no idea who it was ended up being an act that sounded like alex empire mixed with aphex twin and thrown in a blender with autechre... so if you can imagine that, your head will explode... however the guy (being a solo act) had a bunch of technology and was dressed in a black spandex outfit, a large cape, tighty whities (on the outside of the outfit), a zoro face mask and black metal arm gauntlets... so if the noise didnt annoy you, the confusion of his outfit probably did... anyway, past that and seeing 23094823 faces from years gone by and noticing SP hoodies were $65ea I missed the second act... The dawn awakens the world to find I have not slept again. All week long for monthes now I can not sleep at night. Basically I am working with both to try and develop my own skills as a hopeful professional photographer. I want to work for National Geographic eventually as a photojournalist, and while I'm getting ready to take classes, working with Outsider Graphics and Dead End Society (both owned by Outsider himself), I'm learning a lot of great skills and developing my talent. The New Project!
Well heres how it starts out. One 1969 Chevy 1/2 ton pick up. I made the deal finally on it. I did some work and a $100.00 dollars and had it towed home. After it has sat for a little over 2 years...it needed some work. It was full of garbage and junk in the back of it. A tree had fell on the top of the right side of the cab. Huge dent in the top. I had to pound that back into place some. I got it running and found out the gas line had a hole in it. I replaced the line. Then found out the Gas line wasnt tight around the gas filter. Tightened that up...gas lines fixed. The next thing is the gear shifter broke. Someone had converted it from 3 speed on the tree to the floor. I had the shifter welded at a friends shop...good as new. It needed a tune up...so that was taken care of. I cleaned out the back of the truck. I found maybe 300 beer bottles...250 beer cans...lot of misc garbage. It looked like a DUI waiting to happen...with more evidence to hang anyone drunk or not. I cleaned out th

ok, so i put up some pics of my son after a car accident in October 2006. They are graphic so please be forewarned. He is doin well now...3 years old and faster and stronger than ever with no memory of the accident. I put these up to stress the importance of loving your friends and loved ones cause you never know when they might leave your life. Dante was non-responsive when he arrived at the hospital and then spent a week in NICU at CHKD (Children's Hospital). He had a concussion and an inflamed spinal cord. As I said he is much better now but I thought I was gonna lose him and to this day I cherish every moment that I have with my children. So please tell those that you love what they mean to you and show them everyday with no regrets.

I went to the pet store yesterday and bought a little gerbil...I was feeling down due to the loss of a friend...(my thanks David for listening to me yesterday). I named the gerbil Sappy...that is what my little boy had named our previous gerbil...he got lose and we found him but when my older son cought him, I think he squeezed him to hard because he died the next day. I had been thinking about getting another one for quite a while now but had not quite brought myself to go into the pet store. Yesterday it just seemed like the thing to do, I figured, they may not even have any, the last time I went to the pet store for pet supplies they only had rodents destined to be snake food(mice and rats). No cutsie gerbils or hamsters... I prefer Gerbils because they are diurnal, unlike Hamsters that are nocturnal. I want my pet to be up when I am. hey everyone, we've been hard at work trying to improve some of the older/jankier portions of fubar. this afternoon i'll be replacing the old photo management page with a new version which lets you update captions/flags/delete/etc for all of your photos at once, instead of doing them one at a time. included in this change will be the ability to share your albums with friends who aren't fubar.com members. they'll be able to browse your albums and photos without having to login or join the site (this only applies to your public albums/photos). you'll be able to find these changes on your photos page once i've turned it on. cheers! -mike
