i just finished the new option on the profile settings page which you can use to keep non-CT members from seeing your profile.
the default behavior is open (the way it's always been), and when you select CT-only, people must be logged into the site to see your profile. random people browsing around the internet or finding you through search engines won't be able to view your profile.
