Stupid Shit I Do
So today (11/15/07) I was hit and then pinned for a bit by this 4ton lift/crane. I was pinned by the edge of the fulcrum/boom arm against my car. The damage to my car was done mostly by my arm, with the force of the crane behind it. The injury shown (bottom pic) was all the damage I personally sustained. Just some of the stupid shit I do..... Ok.. so I have 4 kids and 2 of them are by one person and their dads name is Matt and he keeps on telling me that he has no money to give me to help support the kids. Missing You
My Heart has been broken and probally for the last time. I have found out that the love of my life has moved on with her life and has left me for another man who she has never met and moved into her house. After reading people's profiles and chatting to them, I have found there are some terrific people on fubar. Some of these I spoke to before uploading a picture of myself. I have wondered how much we all actually rely on a photograph of someone. I was rated a low number this evening by somebody relatively new that still had a bag on their head! I asked them how they could rate and hope they would be rated with no pic. Not knowing me, they didn't understand the humour. They were certain that when their pic is uploaded it will 'knock my socks off'. That ended the discussion. Does everyone on fubar take everything at face value or do they 'check out' profiles and have chats? Makes you wonder why fubar is classed as a chat room.

Ah, today was a long day. Kind of a tough day. I met Peter at Kaiser this morning at 9:00 for our first meeting with getting Christopher checked for ADD or ADHD. It was a long morning. We had lots of paper work to fill out and then we went into a room with other parents and went through the process. Then we had to wait for one of the psychiatrists to call us in to talk to us alone. So they can find out all about Christopher and how long he has not been able to focus and sit still. It all went well but we were there for over 2 hours. During that time, our son Anthony kept calling and we couldn't answer. Peter finally called him back to find out that he was sick, called his sister and dragged her out of class to go pick him up from school to bring him home. I feel like pulling my hair out. If you have read any part of my profile you will know that I mention that "My Hero" is my youngest son Daniel (Dano everyone calls him). I have shared that he works for a State Senator here in our State of Pennyslvania. Yesterday, while the Senate was in Session starting at 1pm, Senator Eichelberger called Daniel down to the Senate floor and was introduced to the Senate. Senator Eichelberger mentioned all the accomplishments that Daniel has completed not only in his office and extending into the community. The Lt.Governor and All the Senators gave Daniel a standing ovation. On his way home from Harrisburg, he called me and told me what all transpired. I was so proud I probably was busting buttons. I went to the rhuematologist today because I've been having A LOT of pain this week. Like to the point that it hurts my arms to just shower/wash my hair. Hurts to stand and slice taters, that had been all ready peeled for me. I wanted to get injections in my trigger points and talk to her about putting me off work for a few weeks. My Health

The infection that got in the skin graph on her neck turned into a staff infection. The doctors did everything they could to try and cure the infection but it had made its way into her brain. Mediterranean Cruise
Nice to be back home after a long flight from Barcelona, to Newark, and finally to Orlando. The trip was great and I will post some photos. We leave November 20th and return December 9th. Lets see where to begin...all this in a nutshell. As crazy as things are lets go back way back. Chicken And Potatoes
1 small-medium potato, ½” cubes 1½ boneless chicken breast, ½” dice 2 cloves garlic, chopped 1 TBSP olive oil 1 TBSP butter 2 c. chicken stock 1 tsp dry, or 1 TBSP fresh rosemary (for an Indian flavor, substitute 2TBSP or to taste of curry powder. Best results would come from making your own masalas and curries) 1 cup of rice and cover while cooking at medium turns this soup into a great, mild curry for four people Heat oil and grease over medium-high heat. Add garlic, cook 30 seconds or just until aromatic. Add chicken. Brown chicken half way and add potatoes, chicken stock and any seasoning used. Reduce heat to medium/low heat and cover cooking 15 minutes. Remove the cover and increase heat so that the stock is at a boil just above simmer. Add rosemary and continue to cook until the stock has reduced to about ½ cup, this will take about ½ hour.

Fruit "salsa-mole"
1 yellow pepper 12 oz. fresh cranberries, 3 c. ½ c. sugar ¼ c. fresh orange juice 1 jalepeno, chopped 1 TBSP. orange zest 2 Avocados, diced ¼ c. chopped cilantro Roast the pepper and peel the skin. Chop the pepper. Combine Cranberries, sugar, and juice in food processor or blender until the berries are coarsely chopped. Add pepper, avocado, cilantro, jalepeno and orange zest.

Tamales
2 tsp cumin 2 tsp coriander 2 tsp black pepper ½ onion, finely chopped 1 garlic clove, finely chopped 2 TBSP olive oil 1 tsp salt 3 ½ pounds pork tenderloins and cut cross-wise into 8 logs 12 dried corn husks, soaked 1 hour in warm water, then drained and patted dry. Preheat oven to 350. Mix cumin-salt until a paste forms. Use as rub on all sides of the pork. Chill overnight, or at least 3 hours. Place pork tenderloins into 8 of the husks. Make three ribbons out of each of the remaining 4 husks. Tie these ribbons around the ends and the center of each tamale. Place on a baking rack and bake until the center of the thermometer reads 150, it will take about 35-45 minutes.

My dad is in the hospital right now. He has many health problems, at age 27 he had polo, but over came it and Served his country in Vietnam. He also suffer from High blood pressure and heart attacks. He has been on high bolld pressure med since his 30's. He has since due to his high bloood pressure meds, is on dyalsisis, his polo came back, its now called post polo, and his knees have given out. Leaving!!!
I have made some awesome friends and family here on fubar many more than I thought I would but, I am considering leaving here as its just not the same now. I'm tired of being bi-polar. I can't figure it out. They either tell me that it's nothing to worry about, or over-medicate instead of trying to hep. I've been in a damned depression now for over a month. I still take my meds, but It won't freaking go away. Ugh! Whats Happening For Me At The Moment!
Well all the past couple days have sucked bad for me. Two nights ago on Wednesday night, I was carried out of my house on a backboard/ I fell down 25 steps of stairs in my home. I was paralyzed for about 3 hours after it happened but luckily got my feeling back in my legs. Last night, I spent another night in the ER. The pain going from my tailbone that I broke all the way up to the base of my skull in my spine. After going to the doctor again today and the doctor looking at all my X-rays again, I find out that I have 4 broken ribs and the rest on my right side are bruised badly with hairline fractures. Also, fractured my hip which cannot be casted because of where it is so will need to do some physical therapy on top of it all. And because of my Lupus, it is going to take a whole lot longer for me to heal than others would. GREAT HUH! NOT! Gerald Griggs was not wearing a seat belt when his 2000 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck rounded a sharp curve, left the road and hit a tree about 5:30 p.m., troopers said. Griggs was unconscious and his truck was on fire when rescue crews pulled him from the vehicle. Griggs was taken to Northwestern Medical Center, then transferred to Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, where he was pronounced dead, police said. Speed may have been a factor in the accident. My Braces Are Coming Off! Wooo!!!
I'm so happy happy happy! I'm finally getting these infernal contraptions removed! I've worn them for 18 months and before then, had to wear a splint for 9 months. Once these braces are removed, I will need to wear an appliance on my upper teeth for a year 24/7 that I can remove if I decide to eat or sing or play my flute. Its; hardly noticeable to the viewer - all they will see is a see-thru band across the front of my teeth. They will also glue in a wire with little round beads behind my front upper and lower teeth to keep them straight and I will wear those from 5 - 10 years. After that, I won't need anything at all! Wow..I never realized that fixing my teeth would take such a long time. Despite the costs, I'm very pleased with the results. I don't have the same type of 'bite'on my back teeth that I had before, but I can eat very well and my front teeth are beautifully straight! (It was crowded and crooked before.) Now I can smile broadly for photos!! WOOO!!! So happy!
