Ike's Aftermath
The storm itself was amazing to watch, from the nature perspective. Jeremy and I spent most of Fri night and Sat morn sittin in the door on the porch watching the havoc. I have never witnessed anything like it before. As some may know I live in the area that was directly hit by IKE on Sat. My family rode it out I left friday afternon with ED and Jeremy. We headed to a friends out at Indian Lake in Dewyville. We got hit pretty bad. hardbtheret This is the first time I have signal more than a few minutes. Its hard to post with a phone HA! We still have no lights other than our generators. The NAT GUARD has been giving us ice and water for a few days.

Dreams
In my dream I see myself walking down a long dark hallway. I can hear people talking, children laughing, everyday life all around me. I come to several windows and see my friends and family enjoying each other and enjoying life. I see myself in the midst of it all, a smile upon my face but my eyes revel the sadness I'm truly experiencing. I continue to walk down the dark hallway but it seems like the walls are slowly closing in the further down I go. Soon I'm at the end of the hallway and there is a door. New Beverly Cinema
Los Angeles peeps, if you're into film at all and you haven't yet experienced the New Beverly Cinema you are totally missing out! I've become quite a fan of this quaint little theater since Seth Green introduced it to me during a screening of the Coen Brothers films "Barton Fink" and "Miller's Crossing". You never know who will be sitting in the same aisle as you while you watch old favorites that you never thought would see the silver screen again. I recently saw "Reservoir Dogs" with classic trailers and a Tom and Jerry cartoon to boot and thought it was amazing. Life Sucks Right Now
Hello to all my friends on here. Have reached a point in my life where I have no pride left and am having to ask for help. As some of you know either thru my blog or from having talked to me life has really sucked lately. Anyway recently found myself to be homeless with 2 teenagers in tow. We had ended up in the emergency shelter but I was given a random drug test, I was told that I tested positive for meth, anyone that knowa me, knows this too be not true. We were licked out of the shelter that day and ended up staying in a motel with my kids, not fun. Well my Aunt and a family friend came up with the deposit and the rent for til the end of the month. I have to come up $460 for next months rent and utilities. As I am between jobs and my health is not that great, find myself coming to you for help. Going To The Marines

I wake up in the morning at 4:30am and start drinking coffee i get the kids up for school around 5:15am they start showers and hair that kind of thing. My Daughter
Well My Daughter is safely back in Honduras. I took her to Houston this morning for her flight back. That was a long stressful trip. The hardest part was saying goodbye. Stephanie leaving still has me pretty much bummed out. But still it was an amazing trip. Even though this is the first time I have seen my daughter in almost 21 years. Even though we have been talking by e-mail, messenger and by phone, everyone knows that isn't the same. but we just clicked. it was like we had been together everyday of her life. I am very blessed to have a bond like this with my daughter. I know many aren't that lucky, and I wish I could have a bond like this with my son. For my daughter it was quite an adventure, comming in ahead of huricane Gustav. So that kept us indoors for a few days watching tv and talking. Got her hooked on a couple of my shows. Eeeek! I'm down to only one more pack of cigarettes. I'm already trying to come up with rationalizations of why one more pack won't hurt me. I've yet to break the seal on that final pack yet. Well you read about my daughter. It was a really great trip. The thing was that was the first time we have seen each other since she was a baby. Even though we have been talking on the phone, e-mails and chatting online, you would expect that first meeting after so many years to be akward. but it wasn't we clicked, It was fantastic. here's the situation. got a call from a tenant the other nite. said there was a bottle of pills out in the hall way all over the place... he had no idea what they were... so said call the cops and he did. the chief of police comes takes a look and said the landlord should take care of that!!!! the tenant calls back so pops goes down to take care it. came back and said he threw them away.. ma went to work today and dug them out and took the to the pharmacy... and they told her that the pills ritilin!!!!! schedule 2 narcatic!!!! and the cops told the tenant that we are responcible for it... how fucked up is that... didn;t even look to see what it was...

Disappearing
I have thought long and hard over this but when I get everything kosher , I am thinking of trying to disappear for a week. My only problem is if I go anywhere she thinks she has to go . How many of us come online hoping to possibly find the one person we are looking for? Then 9 times out of ten it doesnt work out.
