A Memorial To Troy Culler
Troy will be missed, that will not go away. But, we know where he is because his faith did not sway. Many cared and loved him as a great brother. Every one knew he couldn't be loved any more by his father and mother. Troy was a dedicated Christian, husband and father to name a few. But, amongst his busy schedule you could always find him on Sundays in a pew. There are countless big and small things he accomplished, often attaining goals and dreams he wished. He used his brain for doing the homes finances, and helped many children sometimes taking chances. He was definitely a devout Kansas City fan; whether decorating his office, or sitting at a game getting a tan. He helped kids learn how to throw, hit and catch a ball, and offered a warm hug after a bad fall. He taught his boys lessons and important things. I was off today and as luck would have it I had the joy of watching Iranian President Ahmadinejad address a group at Columbia University, just a few blocks from Ground Zero. I won't get into what he said or whether or not he should have been invited to speak at all. The question I will address is why wasn't this man arrested and charged with taking hostages at the American embassy in Iran in 1979 for over 300 days? I can understand if he was addressing the UN he would be on international grounds and probably afforded the courtesy of diplomatic immunity. But he set foot on what was clearly American soil. More than a handful of the people taken hostage in 1979 have identified him as undoubtedly being one of their captors 28 years ago. Hit-and-run Drivers
What motivates a hit-and-run driver? Somebody knocked my brother-in-law Todd Sayre off his motorcycle early yesterday morning and, in my wife's words, "left him lying in a ditch like roadkill." He's gone -- his organs will soon be enroute to saving several other lives. Not that it would've mattered much, based on what I've heard about evidence of the impact, but what kind of person can't be bothered to stop and make a damned phone call????? How hard is it to find a phone and dial 911? How do I help my wife through the senseless loss of her baby brother? How do I deal with my own anger at this (for now) nameless, faceless piece of human offal? By what twisted piece of reasoning is this behavior OK?

I'm Alive 2
Ok here is the deal so far. I am out of work for awhile, my 2yr old motorcycle is totaled and at the scrapyard. Nothing on my bod is broke, alot of deep bruiseing and my ribs shifted,however: a normal neck is supposed to be curved mine is straight. I might have some screwed up disks. Not sure yet waiting for MRI results. BUT I am alive and able to bitch about it.

Clothes Dryer Safety
The heating unit went out in my dryer. The guy that fixes things went in to the dryer pulled out the lint filter. It was clean. We always clean the lint from the filter after every load of clothes.He told us that he wanted to show us something. He took the filter over to the sink, ran hot water over it. Now, the lint filter is made of a mesh material - I'm sure you know what your dryer's lint filter looks like. WELL...the hot water just sat on top of the mesh!!! It didn't go through it at all!!! He told us that dryer sheets cause a film over that mesh that's what burns out the heating unit. You can't SEE the film, but it's there. This is also what causes dryer units to catch fire & potentially burn your house down with it! He said the best way to keep your dryer working for a very long time & to keep your electric bill lower) is to take that filter out & wash it with hot soapy water & an old toothbrush (or other brush) at least every six months. There are so many thaughts in my head right now. Like how to be with the one I love. How much I hate where I'm at in my life. Where I would like to be in 5 years from now. Shoulder Surgery
I had my surgery today and so far so good. For those who don't know I tore my rotator cuff back in July. Today I had an arthroscopic procedure to sew up the tear, insert an anchor, and reattach the bicep. Doc said the tear in the labrum was not as bad as the MRI showed, but the tear in the cuff was worse than expected. So now I'm resting somewhat comfortably with percocet and this nifty cold water circulating device wrapped around my shoulder. Thank you Nancy for being my helper today so my wife could tend to the kids and make the day as normal as possible for them (and her). Days like this remind me of what a wonderful family I have. They are doing everything they can to make me comfortable. A long rehab is ahead of me but with the family and friends I am fortunate to have, it will be a breeze.

Please Help With Firefox Browser
I recently changed my browser from Internet Explorer to Firefox to solve a problem I was having with unread messages in my bar tab. Now that that is correct, I keep getting a message box that says to install plug-ins and I have done that several times, but it keeps on showing that message. Can anyone tell me how to stop that or do I have to change browers again? If I have to change browers to correct this problem, are there any free ones I can download and where do I go to find it? I recently started watching poetry slams on the net, and what I find so great about them is that they are bringing poetry back to its roots of being an oral tradition. Most poetry other than slam has been relegated to dusty shelves and the only people who could get an audience were those who either knew someone or who were born into privilege. Not so with slams! I Drive A Massive Amount
You know, since I cover an area roughly bordered by Louisiana (I do make runs into Louisiana for certain customers at times) down to Corpus I drive a LOT. I'm talking like 30-40k miles a year. ingredients: 3 packages of oriental flavor ramen noodles 1 lb of lean ground beef 1 tbs of soy sauce 1 tbs worchestershire sauce 1 whole onion chopped 1 to 2 tbs of butter margerine or olive oil 1 clove of garlic(optional)cut really tiny(minced) directions open noodles set aside seasoning packets in a skillet place butter or whichever you choose to cook with (olive oil is the healthiest of the three) cook onion until nice and soft with garlic add meat and brown it drain all set aside in a pot cook the ramen and drain after the noodles are done add to meat mixture in skillet add all the soy and worchestershire sauces and seasoning packet to meat and noodles (you might need a little water too maybe a table spoon or two) warm and mix completely serve and enjoy

This is going to take a while to type,lol. I'm not ignoring the site or anyone, just been having a couple problems. I somehow managed to mess up the muscles, tendons and ligaments in my right arm and shoulder and i haven't mastered left handed mouse control yet. June 08 Update On My Website
I just thought I would let everyone know what's going on with my website. I found a new web designer in February 08. We had barely started working on the site when injured himself and had to have surgery. I waited a few months to let him heal because I really liked him and wanted to have him do the site. In May, I left him a several voice mail messages, text messages, and instant messages. I got a few replies, one of which said he was pretty much healed, but he would never answer me about getting together to go over things. Most of my messages went unanswered. He is totally ignoring me now and I don't know what is going on with him. I am now in search of a new web designer to start over. :( Maybe I should just take some classes and learn web design myself. Each weekend, I get my extreme happiness. Thats when my little sweetheart, the 4 1/2 year old who has my heart, comes and spends time with me and shows me what love is all about... Finding Neverland
The next few days of school blurred together, every morning i'd walk down to the first grade hall and wait to be called into the classroom, and then, when the final student was called, a teacher would walk me down to the principals office, I'd get paddled, and then walked down to class where i'd sit alone in a chair until dismissal. The one difference being, after the incident on the first day, I was no longer allowed to ride the bus home with the other kids. The 1980's were a decade where parents for some reason were losing their children left and right, and the Allen county school system did not want to be responsible for another dead child being found dismembered in a random creek.
