A weedy sea dragon at the Georgia Aquarium has something to celebrate this Father's Day. One of the rare creatures is pregnant for only the third time ever at a U.S. aquarium, aquarium officials said. But don't look for the expectant mom — dads carry the eggs in this family. The aquarium's sea dragon has about 70 fertilized eggs — which look like small red grapes — attached to his tail. He is expected to give birth in early to mid-July, said Kerry Gladish, a biologist at the aquarium. Sea dragons, sea horses and pipe fish are the only species where the male carries the eggs, Gladish said. Sea dragon pregnancies are rare because researchers don't know what gets them in the mood to mate. A Breakthrough
Yes folks, thats right, I believe I've had a breakthrough. My theory on a pinched nerve may have been partially right, because last night I must have walked out the pinched nerve, because the horrific pain in my hip that I've had has pretty much disappeared. I'm still tender there, because of the odd muscle use, but the sharp, throbbing pain is gone. I really think the anti inflamatories and three days off helped the swelling go down, so it could work itself out. Now keeping it healthy is the trick. On a side note, because I've been walking funny, my hamstring and knee are killing me lol, but that'll mend soon enough!

However recently I have noticed that lately SOME people are not even rating or commenting on the pic I load for them. A Miracle...continued...
Today was a very productive day for Grandma. When I got there at 10:00 AM she was awake and responsive. She was able to write to us on a piece of paper and make certain gestures that we would understand. She said she felt fine but was very hungry. Which is understandable since she hasn't eaten since Tuesday evening. Grandpa and I have been letting her sleep and have been checking in on her every hour or so. Around 2:00 PM the doctor okayed the removal of her endotracheal and stomach tubes. She was ecstatic! They removed them and the first words (or whispers) out of her mouth were "Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!" She asked for some food but they are only able to give her ice chips as of right now. They have been doing therapy on her arms and legs and hope to have her sitting up in a chair by tonight. Another thing that came out of her mouth was "Oh my god, I can breathe!" Update On My Mother
To everyone who has questioned the well being of my mother, I would like to say thank you for all your concern and prayers. I want you to know her recovery has gone very well. Everytime I speak to her I'm amazed at how great she sounds, so much energy, and even though I have not been able to see her, my dad and everyone else tells me how great her color is now. She had pretty pale, ashen maybe even. Now she's a healthy pink and feeling great. Almost 2 years has passed by since I joined Fubar and now that I am getting close to leveling past Godfather, I have decided to go for the Spotlight. For those of you who aren't aware, you can not be the Spotlight once you pass the Godfather level. Wow where to begin, last night was completely a mind fuck. As I search for answers to my past, a old friend turns up on here. Although I can't recall much about her I do remember her name and can't forget her face. I don't recall the last time we spoke to each other or how things even ended. I woke up in heaven; just at dawn the sky seemed to have been painted by no less than the hand of God. The clouds glazed across the sky like ocean waves, one after the other. Looking Back...
It's funny to me how time goes by and things in our lives change. Dramatically sometimes... People come and go, emotions that we believed to be so strong fade into oblivion. I look back over my life and it just amazes me. The blog before this one, I've had held invisible for the entire time it's been there. I was so crushed, so defeated.. Now, I haven't talked to him in so many months I can't help but wonder how he is doing... but yet, the connection that felt so strong then is gone. Faded away. Out of sight, out of mind. And that makes me wonder if any connection is REALLY ever as strong as we think it is. Can you stay connected with someone you never see? Can the bonds actually hold? I am sitting here thinking about running to urgent care, just cringing at that thought cuz I always hate the wait. Since last night my hand has been throbbing on top kind of below my thumb and between my finger but on top of the hand. A few times it has went down to my elbow :( Last night I took naproxen and today I took ibuprofen and neither one are touching it at all. I can be just sitting here not even moving my hand and get this pain going through it... I made a follow up with my doctor for the nerve conduction test, but cant get in there till June 8th. Greetings to all, I came into ShockWave not really expecting the hospitality that was shown to me. For that, I must thank all of you. These past two years have been really difficult for me and I couldn't really deal with people. Everywhere I looked I saw my friends turn into enemies. Because of that I had retreated back into myself and severed myself from the world. I just went about every day like a zombie. I figured that going into lounges and getting back in tune with people would be good medicine for me. However, that was not the case.
