Help Is Here For The Endanger Hawaiian Monk Seals
HONOLULU - A kite-sized, unmanned airplane is joining the effort to protect endangered Hawaiian monk seals and coral reefs in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. Managers of the Papahanaumokuakea Marine National Monument plan to use the 10-pound plane as early as October to help them spot nets and other marine debris. The electric-powered craft will transmit digital video footage back to a research ship crew that will collect the nets that could entangle monk seals, green sea turtles and other wildlife. Officials also aim to prevent the nets from snagging on coral reefs in the monument. The plane may join an October marine debris removal voyage but it's more likely to participate in a March excursion since details still need to be worked out, said Rusty Brainard, chief of the NOAA Pacific Islands Fishery Science Center's coral reef ecosystem division. Living Room Take Over

New Wiper Blades
Hey Guys, I got a new set of Wiper Blades on my car. I think they might be too big because they hang over the edges a little, but I don't care, they work great and I would have to say that they are the only blades I have ever had that I actually like to watch working. Call me crazy, but lately I have been driving around non-stop with them on, I've even been pulled over and the cop asked to go for a ride so he could watch them work. They were outrageously expensive, but safety is my main concern and like I said, they work great. Let me know if you would like a pair for your car for Christmas.

Random? Acts Of Stupidity
This will prolly be an on running thing I keep adding too beings shit seems to happen all the time. I'll just start with the more recent. I figure two things might come out of this. I went yesterday (10/04/07) to K-mart for some good ole toothpaste. Should have been a very easy trip. Well as I'm progressing through the parking lot I've got some broad driving a Lincoln Navigator coming at me. (shared throughway) I moved further to the right, near as I could to the parked cars. Which wasn't good enough for this fucking cunt. She still had to swerve around me, and I think she was trying to bitch me out but I couldn't tell, I was hypnotized by the rolls of chins slapping up and down.

Bacon, Egg And Mozzarella Cheese Pizza
2/3 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled 8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese 4 eggs 12 oz sour cream 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley Roll pastry to fit into a 12-inch pizza pan. Bake at 425 for 5 minutes. Pain, Fear And Loss
This morning I was woken by my best friend, calling about a man we both worked with. He has Stage IV cancer and he underwent surgery to remove his tumor yesterday. Overnight he had to MIs and is in a coma. He is not expected to make it. His cancer was detected late...only a couple of months ago. He is a good man with a good family. And I cried, and I prayed. Just now I read about a sweet little baby girl named Breanna, who passed away today. Her mother and grandmother are both members of Fubar and I reposted the bulletin requesting support for the family. I have never known a child that I've lost so I can't fully grasp the pain that Breanna's mom and grandmom are going through. But I do feel their pain, and I prayed. My mother called me this afternoon to announce that her divorce from my mentally, emotionally and physically abusive stepfather was finalized. Recruiters
Went to the recruiters yesterday morning and decided to take the advice of a few people and checked out what the Navy and Army had to offer.. nadda! As a single mom I can only go reserves with Navy and Army which means no housing and no medical coverage for my son.. that seems like a waste of going to bootcamp!! People Piss Me Off!
People piss me off. A friend of mine on here had to delete her profile because two 18-year olds found her profile and ratted her out. She and her husband had a blast taking the so-called NSFW pics and these punks told everybody at her workplace about her profile. To top it off, someone broke into her photobucket account, so she had to delete that too. Now, I know that a person is basically playing with matches when he or she posts NSFW pics. There's always the risk of being discovered by co-workers. But it just pisses me off. She and her husband are two of the nicest people I've met on here. Now they are both upset and God only knows what will happen with her at work. Not only will she have to put up with the bullshit from her co-workers, but HR is calling her on the carpet Tuesday. Halloween Costume Contest
Today we took Mykala to a Halloween costume contest, where she was dressed up as a glow in the dark skeleton. Out of her age group and from the scarest costumes she came in first place. My Valentine's Day

Yesterday, after sudden illness struck two weeks or so ago, my mom's mom, my grandmother, the grandparent I was closest to and the one that was deeply beloved by the entire family, passed beyond this world into the next. She was an amazing woman, her humor, her wit, her truly unique view on life and love and family was something to behold. She lived a good long life during her near 90 years here amongst the living and passed almost exactly 20 years after her husband, my mom's dad, my grandfather, passed under rather sudden and quite similar circumstances. She missed him greatly, knowing him as I did, understandably so, and she said she was looking forward to seeing him and being with him again. OK. I have part of a song stuck in my head. I don't remember hardly any of it. I seem to think there was a verse about a couple (maybe parents) leaving their car and walking off leaving everything behind (again not sure but I think they leave their children to fend for themselves). Friday morning. St. John's ER. Diagnioses- Bladder infection. Was given a shot of morphine and the pain was gone. (I had been in pain for 3 hours, constantly, prior to the shotworking.) Monday night/Tuesday morning. CMH ER. Diagnioses- gallstones. Was told I was given a shot of demerol. Was only in pain for about 2 hours this time. I had seen my PCP earlier that day and she was going to send me to have an ultrasound to check my gallbladder. The ER did it that night for me. Sent me home with Lortab. Wednesday night/Thursday morning. CMH ER. Diagnioses- I'm fucked. Did a CT scan of my abdomen and found no stones. A HIDA (I'm clueless) scan is ordered but no idea when it will be performed. Babies First Picture
Babies First Picture Ryan & I went to the Dr's office for our first prenatal visit. We got to see the baby(grub worm) on an ultrasound. It was so amazing, that tiny little life force is inside me. I was so happy that I had Ryan there with me. After a poke of the needle we were of to dinner with babies first picture and home video. We keep watching the dvd of the ultrasound, its just so unreal.
